Must have

5/5

This product is a must have for the Pathfinder game. It has all the minis you need to run most Pathfinder games. Even if it doesn't contain the exact creature you need, it contains a pawn that's similar enough.

This product has especially good value if you're on a budget. Although I have many plastic and paper minis, this is still a useful accessory.

If you already own a Bestiary pawn box, there are probably not enough changes in this one to make it worthwhile.

This pawn box has the same great quality of previous pawn boxes. The art is great, the bases and pawns are sturdy.

It contains a large amount of black bases: 20 small/medium, 10 large, and 5 huge bases.

A great value.

Well, if you're supporting sixty thousand different tables, it's nice if each table can run different monsters.

Keep the cardboard sprues and slide them into document protectors with the pawns in their spaces. You can slide the panel out of the plastic to pull out the pawns you need and the rest stay nice and secure. The Monster Core box will likely need a 2 inch binder to handle all of them.

I don’t even think there is any need for a binder, I just pop them right back into the cardboard sleeve and keep them right in the box that they came in. Works great!

Grand Lodge

Glad it works for you! I use the binders so I can turn the pages looking for what I need. I can also cut up the cardstock wrapping and slide it into the binder covers for easy identification, since the collections don't have a box.

Pawns and battle cards. I like both. Any chance there will be a Monster Core Battle Cards issue some day?

Thank you. It is close to Bestiary Pawn Box, But it has some new additions and more than one pawn on other ones. Seems like a great starting pawn box.

** spoiler omitted **...

Thank you for doing this, but it really shouldn't be necessary. Come on, Paizo.

Is there a reason that the pawns on pages 27+ on the pdf do not have outlines?

Envoy's Alliance

The URL of the store category for Second Edition pawns is https://paizo.com/store/pathfinder/accessories/pawns . For example, Paizo.com's navigation drop-down menus link to that URL from Pathfinder > Accessories > Pawns.
That's the page where people look for PF2e pawns, but the Monster Core Pawn Box is not included on that page, so some pawn shoppers will go unaware that the MC Pawn Box exists.

So, how well did it sell?
Covid19 pandemic has past already, time to get the pawn collection line up and running again!
Still waiting for those Sky King's Tomb pawns

Pawn box is generally awesome. Only issue I've found is that some of the monster numbers are wrong on the pawn.

Dino stegasarus
Archon Giylea
sweet hag

Not sure if others are off.

Horizon Hunters

Pawns are one of my favorite things about Pathfinder. Please bring them back. We promise to buy them! I think I own like $600 worth of Pawns AT LEAST.

And I agree with Davelozzi that the best way to keep Pawns organized is right in their original packaging. Just pop them back into their holes and keep them in their boxes or…wraparounds? They look great on the shelf that way, and are perfectly easy to upkeep.

My only complaint is that an Orca is a dolphin now. It’s like you demoted Pluto.
