Can't download it either :-(

Edit: Fixed (for me, at least).

Edit The second - although the pdf file seems to be corrupted. Or so Adobe is telling me

I get the download but can't open the file.

I also had this issue, but when it finally allowed me to download, it shows that the file is only 147 bytes in size.

Hey folks,

Sorry about this! I'm looking into the issue with the tech team, so hopefully we'll have it resolved shortly.

Ooh, I can take from the "suggested lores" that we're revisiting my favorite city from a PF1 AP.

Working good, now. :)

still seeing only the 147 bit file.

Try clicking where it says "Problems downloading this file? Click here." That will renew the file.

I did. And I refreshed downloads and signed in again. Still getting the empty file.

Same here. I read through it all.

You will know that you have accessed the corrected file when you see a file size of 2.75 MB.

Pathfinder Lost Omens, Rulebook, Starfinder Roleplaying Game Subscriber

the 147 bit file keeps getting downloaded even though my downloads show it as 2.75 MB.

This is what I did, it also works for me.

I've done that 5 times and still getting the 147 bit version.

I can't seem to shake the 147 b broken version.

Interesting. Bladysong's instructions are definitely the way to get the corrected file. You would then get the message about the file personalizing, then wait a bit and click on the link again. You should then see the updated file size and be able to download it with one more click.

I hope somebody can figure out what is going wrong for folks who still aren't getting the corrected file.

Yay! Players Guide is great, I now have a complete character concept for the AP (was waiting for the AP Backgrounds to be available). Can't wait to start playing in a couple of weeks' time!

To be fair, it took some time before it finally showed the proper file size. Hopefully it's working for everyone soon. Good read, so far.

If you're having trouble downloading, your browser may be caching the link. If you're using Chrome, hit F12 to open the dev console, then right-click the refresh button in the browser and use the secret "Empty Cache and Hard Reload" option. No guarantees, but that has worked for me in the past.

It seems like the issue with the download *should* be fixed, but there may be some caching issues which may stagger when the fix affects everyone. I was told by a coworker that they could download it but I still was unable to after refreshing the downloads, clicking the "problems downloading?" link, signing in and out, trying different browsers, etc. But I was just able to download it successfully, so it looks like the issue is working its way out of the system.

If you're still having troubles tomorrow, please let us know and I'll have our tech team do some more investigating.

I kept getting the broken PDF like others here, but I managed to overcome the caching issue by connecting through a VPN. Perhaps others can access the fixed PDF if they connect to the Internet via some other means (e.g. via mobile phone hotspot).

Thank you so much i was going mad! tried the phone hotspot method and it worked the full 2.75 MB version! Thank You!

Still broken for me, I'll try later tonight on different internet and see if that fixes it.

Curse you and your useful advice!

Quote:
Common is certainly the most important language to know in this Adventure Path, along with Dwarven, Elven, Gnomish, Goblin, and Halfling. Draconic is a key language in many parts of the campaign as well. Other languages will have their moments to shine, but in most cases key lines of communication should function if the above languages are represented in the group.

Wonder if that's supposed to imply it's more or less important than the five mentioned before it.

Religion section and Haunting Vision imply is it's not just Against the Dragons but working against Dahak specifically. Question is: Just his cult or the direct machinations of the deity?

I love the dearth and breadth of the backgrounds, well done!

I find myself quite disappointed.

Not by the product, which is awesome, but by what the religion section says. I had expected to see that Dahak would not be an appropriate deity, but all draconic deities? Which means, even if Dahak/cult is a major enemy, I shouldn't play a Champion of Apsu out to fight the machinations of Dahak? (Yes, Apsu is most definitely my favourite of the Pathfinder deities. ;-) And I've been looking for an excuse to play such a character in just that kind of a story.)

Oh well. We're not switching until we're done our current AP (Ironfang), so I have time to figure it out. :-)

English isn't my first language, but that does read strange:

Other than that: Love the "Befriend a local" Downtime activity

As a (fellow?) German native speaker, I can understand your confusion, but "negotiate" can mean "to overcome an obstacle", so it's fine here.

Love the guide and love the background working essentially like campaign traits cranked up to 11.

Now if only those 2E PDFs would finally unlock, I could start prepping!

Definition #4 is the one you're looking for. It's correct.

verb (used without object), ne·go·ti·at·ed, ne·go·ti·at·ing.
1 to deal or bargain with another or others, as in the preparation of a treaty or contract or in preliminaries to a business deal.

verb (used with object), ne·go·ti·at·ed, ne·go·ti·at·ing.
2 to arrange for or bring about by discussion and settlement of terms: to negotiate a loan.
3 to manage; transact; conduct: He negotiated an important business deal.
4 to move through, around, or over in a satisfactory manner: to negotiate a difficult dance step without tripping: to negotiate sharp curves.
5 to transfer (a draft, promissory note, etc.) to a new owner by endorsement and delivery or by delivery.

We have this in French too : négocier un virage (negotiate a curve)

Liberty's Edge

Love the "the unmasking of one of the most insidious and dangerous conspiracies of the Age of Lost Omens" bit. Because unmasking is not unmaking and opens far more interesting vistas for the future IMO :-D

My guess is that part of the interest of the AP comes from mysterious machinations of Apsu's followers opposing those of Dahak.

Having a follower of Apsu would make it either not interesting if they know everything or hard to believe if they know nothing (because Apsu is LG after all).
