When the Councilwoman makes the offer, Bosh tries to not look too interested as he thinks it would look bad, they could think he is doing it just for getting loot...but he kindly accepts,
"Thank you for your offer, it will help us a lot on the expedition and with it maybe found the other explorers."

Here is my submission, I'm finishing the crunch as this is the first time making a DW char :P (I could expand the background if needed)

Backstory:

"Boran the Healer, please give me strenght in this journey I'm about to begin"- Jarad prays on his knee at the temple.

Jarad always wanted to help the people, born in the town of Glurt, since he was a child he was calm and silent but he usually went out of his limits to help someone. His parents saw his dedication and suggested him to join the Church of Restoration and learn the ways of the God Boran The Healer.

After years of training and being a missionary to the Church, he finally graduated as a Father and started traveling around the kingdom to help those in need.

One day, after helping the town of Multon with a mass intoxication...

"Here, here! The King is looking for the best and bravest of adventurers to take on the challenge of the Tower of Light!" the courier shouts and leaves a moving poster on one of the announce board in the town square.

"Seems like the adventurers who enter there don't have a chance without guidance and wisdom of the gods." Jarad plays with his beard after seeing the "massacre" on the moving poster.

"Boran has put this on my way another challenge to prove myself and help those around me." he turn around and starts packing his stuff,

"Alex, you will take care of this people, keep feeding them those herbs and they should drink lots of water...and pray, I'm going to travel to this Tower of Light and see what help I can do to others, may Boran look upon you." Jarad orders the acolyte next to him,

"Yes Father, I'll go and ask for a horse right now" the acolyte bows and runs out.

With his full beard and shaved head, Father Jarad looks clumsy if you look at his big body(He is a little chubby) but he is well versed in combat as the training in the Church implies the acolytes train in combat too, to survive their travels and defend those who can't defend themselves anymore.

A simple human cleric looking to help a party of adventurers in need, to take the challenge of the Tower of Light.


Oh man! Can't wait to go in there, I'll post my character once I get a chance at home.

The dragon mark is aberrant, so the abilities will be more random that specific. I can remove the feat if you don't allow it, it's to show how Menmark was affected by the events on the day of mourning but I can think of something else.

Description:

He is 5'4" and 260lbs, he has brown hair, big eyes and white skin. He has a chubby body.

Personality:

He is a quiet and dedicated person, who likes to study and he doesn't like being pushed around. He is more of a combat oriented wizard.

Backstory:

When he was a baby, his parent were killed by a group of demons who attacked their small town just before some adventurers could help them, they protected the baby and gave him in adoption in Kenabres or that was told by his foster parents. He grew up with stories about the Crusaders and the Riftwardens, lacking the physical body to become a warrior he chose the path of the mind and learned the arcane ways. He proved to be very intelligent and talented in them. Always proved to be better than their bullies.

Why?:

"I am a master in the arcane ways, a very intelligent person with knowledge of all kinds. Magic is always useful against vile creatures and demons.
And since I was a kid I dreamed to become a Riftwarden and protect the people, I've heard some demons killed my biological parents, after all the pain and destruction they cause, I think they should get their punishment."

This is a small backstory, what you guys think?

Backstory:
Tomp, he remembered when they gave him his name. They makers said that was the sound of his feet hitting the ground when he was charging his enemies, the last sound they would hear. Tomp knew the name was just a way humans could differentiate the machines.
When he was created, his makers used adamantite to reforge his body structure. This was a new kind of war forged who would be used in the front lines to withstand the damage of the front attacks and breach their defenses. Tomp…Tomp.. Tomp.. they would hear and then a sword would cut them.
He met Glaive and Tarragon in the war, just companions like everyone else, but their way of thinking amused him so he usually hanged with them. After the last war and long travels, he understood that something began changing them, maybe the world, maybe the freedom…He adopted more a male personality and developed a sense of adventure, he would put his skills to use and travel but he considered Glaive and Tarragon his family now and he wouldn’t separate from them so easy. He would protect them.
”Yes, I was there when it happened…There was a light, it blinded us and then I woke up on the field surrounded by the mist. If it wasn’t for Glaive and Tarragon I would still be lost in there.” He always told when someone asked about the Last war, ”That day, it changed us…” He always finished in a low voice.

He has a serious personality, always being observant, he likes to analyse things, he is amused with the world and loves to put his fighting skills to use.

His build in the future will be more overrun/bull rush oriented, but this is what I built, any feedback would be nice :)

Also did you factor in adventuring equipment as well? I'm looking at the left over 191g you have and thinking you could grab a backpack and some rations/waterskins at the very least. I not sure what DM Avian Aloft means when they talk about gold not being usable in the begining so you might want to try to squeeze every last piece of equipment you can from those 191 gold pieces leftover.

I put a Fighter's kit, it should contain a rations and waterskin, but I suppose I could buy more. Maybe some alchemist's fire, throwing axes and stuff like that too.

so, who is in it?


Human, level 2, Borca Dayrn, Druid (with a monkey familiar).

Backstory:
Borca always liked animals and since he was a kid he dreamed to be part of the entretainers guild but he too had a call for the wilderness. So he adopted both, he learned the ways of the nature and adopted a little monkey he called Ananab, Borca taught Ananab some tricks and started to perform little shows for people in Wispil, he usually performed stories where Ananab would be the hero and Borca summoning other animals to help for the show. He got the attention of the leader of the entertainer's guild and got invited to perform with them. In a trip to the forest Ananab was kidnapped by the leprechauns but when the hero ______ appeared and got rid of them, Borca got back Ananab and they both claimed loyalty to the hero ______, they would perform the heroic actions of the hero around the world while traveling with him/her. (and helping him/her)

Borca's show would be more like my companion and summons acting the hero's adventures while Borca is the narrator. The build will be more suppot oriented, maybe dualclassing in the future (Animal Speaker Bard, Cleric or something)
