If I missed anyone, it was by accident. Please let me know. Recruitment will go at least through the weekend (maybe longer), so there is no hurry on submissions. I really like what I am seeing so far. There are still some roles that are wide open as far as submissions are concerned. As I look deeper at builds, some of the skills/melee/partial casters may fit well in another category.
As I have mentioned, I am flexible with character creation guidelines if someone has a good RPing reason that fits well in Eberron.
Keep the submissions coming and thank you for your interest so far!

Seeing a little bit of the world left him wanting to learn more and he became an ArchaeologistI'll try to find an other core race that thematically fits but that is going to be hard.
I like the direction of the build.
1) Here is some cool info that may help you with an Eberron Background for the character: Morgrave University, Professor of Archaeology, and Head of Khorvairen Archaelogy
2) Let me look at Suli deeper and see how it will fit. If you like a certain stat array, I can work with you on a more thematic class. Besides being a good mechanical fit for the build, what attracts you to them? I don't see much in your backstory that "awakens" the heritage. The minus to intelligence hurts the archaeologist side of the build as well.

Hmm... Seeing the high number of skill-focused apps, I think I might shelve the investigator for now - though now that I've got the concept in my head, Mecha-Poirot (complete with a built-in monocle and a "moustache" that some mischievous kid drew on his face in paint) WILL be a character I play at some point. :p
Brainstorming something new as I type.

The build is very solid. I am thinking about the dragon-mark. Warforged are not normally a dragon-marked race. I may have a good idea for it. What House/Mark did the shield spell come from?

The dragon mark is aberrant, so the abilities will be more random that specific. I can remove the feat if you don't allow it, it's to show how Menmark was affected by the events on the day of mourning but I can think of something else.

If someone is looking to play and is having a hard time with ideas, unlike normal pathfinder, the Ebberon conversion has a bunch of really fun prestige classes.
The Cataclysm Mage and the Bone Knight are favorite of mine. For a less sinister bent, the Argent Fist is pretty gross if you can get the stats worked out. Combines the special abilities of monks and paladins.

I'd be interested in playing a Dragonmarked Heir. Probably a fighter of House Orien going towards the Blade of Orien prestige class.
Or alternatively a swashbuckler would be an excellent choice for a base class if allowed.
I have never seen a swashbuckler build before and I wouldn't mind seeing one in play. Feel free to go that route. It would be nice to have a dragonmarked player in the game attached to a house. If no woodsy characters are offered, feel free to add survival and possibly knowledge nature to your skills (if you want them).
As far as fluff, instead of high seas swashbuckler you could have been assigned on one of the Elemental Airships. Just a thought. Put together whatever you envisioned.

Ok I've created an alias for this. I've little knowledge of Eberron but would be willing to work with others to flush out my backstory. My idea is that Jak is an escaped slave from that monster filled racist nation, Droaam. And he is out to make friends and experience the world.
If it would be more apt, I could totally make him over into a battle cleric quick as well!
As of right now he is a Minotaur Barbarian, who loves axes.

I am not a big fan of minotaurs. Eberron has Shifters.

The submissions are short a divine caster and a woodsy character. You mentioned a battle cleric.
A cool Woodsy Deity:
Balinor, God of Beasts and the Hunt: (N) Weapon: Battleaxe

Uriah Lewis |
![Ranger](http://cdn.paizo.com/image/avatar/PZO1121-HalfElf_90.jpeg)
This is GM Niles' character:
Uriah was born into luxury and wealth. As a Scion of House Oriel he became closely familiar with the Lightening Rail and the transportation network of Khorvaire. His duties with his family kept him busy for most of his young life but he yearned for more, more travel, more adventure, more women! At 23 he joined the crew of the elemental airship, The Beginners Luck, he has spent a year working on her crew as a man at arms traveling the length and breadth of Khorvaire and loving every minute of it. Recently the ship has tethered in Sharn, where he makes his way into the City of Towers, ready to make his name renowned the world over.
Uriah is a brash and impetuous young man. Prone to boasting and bravado he can be charming when he chooses to be. He chafed under the restrictions and duties imposed upon him by his family and House and wants nothing more than to travel the world, saving damsels and proving his swordsmanship unmatched. And reaping the rewards for those things of course, Uriah is accustomed to a certain style of living and "working" on the airship was a new experience for him. One he isn't sure he likes, he'd much rather be the captain and not have all that manual labor to do. Uriah isn't a big man, standing 5'7 and about 150lbs but he moves fast and his blade is even faster. He enjoys moving around in combat and mocking his opponents, including teleporting behind them with his Dragonmark power and laughing at them when they look surprised.
About me: I'm a 31 year old elementary school administrator. I post very frequently to the boards, probably averaging 2-3 posts per thread per day. I'm currently playing in a couple of PbP games and GMing two, one of which is up over 3k posts at this moment and going strong. Alas, I don't have a tabletop game at the moment as marriage and kids have gotten in the way of that hobby. That probably explains why I spend so much time on the boards. Anyways, thanks for your time and for GMing, if you need any help or advice I'm always available.

Ok here is my concept, be warned he is drow and a psionic character, but you did mention earlier in the thread that you weren't completely against either non core/eberron races or psionic classes. Lets see if he meets your approval, note I am not posting a build unless you like the concept. Note I am not going oracle on this one because the psion (clairsentience) makes more sense as a "prophet" (e.g visionary and seer) then the oracle does.
Amongst the Drow dwell a special "caste" known as the "Vulkorimm Prophets", these Drow are great visionaries of the Drow people and practice many esoteric rites and are an essential element of many Drow rituals. Vulkorimm Prophets are selected at a young age, typically from the ranks of orphans or exceptionally intelligent youth.
If Drow priests/shamans are the spiritual heart of Drow faith then the Vulkorimm Prophets are clearly the faith's spiritual "brain". The Vulkorimm Prophets are far more "philosophical" in their faith, the difference could be seen as between a theologian and a normal priest. The Vulkorimm Prophets do know that their power does not come from Vulkor yet they still revere him, although reverence and traditions vary between individuals and communities.
GM do you like the concept?

Drow don't really fit my plan. In Eberron, they live on a separate continent and are usually NE or CE. They worship Vulkoo (as you noted), who is believed to be an aspect of the Deity The Mockery:
"The Sovereign of Betrayal and Bloodshed, The Mockery represents dishonorable combat and unjust war. His worshippers include assassins, rogues and evil warriors, as well as the infamous Flayed Hand. He is known in some circles as The Betrayer and was once a member of the triumvirate of combat deities; his betrayal lead to his flaying and banishment from the Sovereign Host."

This is connortheconman's submission. Also, a little about myself. I'm 21, working in retail at the moment, and I've been playing D&D for...seven years? Has it been that long? But anyway, all of my experience is with 3.5 and Eberron more specifically, and I've DM'd a game or two in my day. I came into Pathfinder back in December, and so far I haven't looked back.
I'm currently DM'ing a PBP game on the boards and I'm gonna be playing a game over Skype using MapTool starting next week. You can expect a minimum of two posts a day out of me, although they may be at odd hours before/after work. If the party tends toward a more neutral bent I may reroll the character under another deity, but for now its the Silver Flame for days.
I typed up the character background and lost it when my browser derped, so expect that tomorrow on the character page since I have to get up early for work.

Your build looks good.
Sorry about the character background. I have lost multiple posts in the past. I actually compose long posts in word now. It is very frustrating to lose one that you have put a lot of effort into. I will definitely not end recruitment until Sunday night, so do not stress the backstory.
I am looking forward to seeing his story. Do you think he will tolerate neutral and (possibly) LE companions? This is not an evil party campaign, but I want to let people play their characters with some depth.

A dark workshop was the first thing the warforge saw. The engineers looked upon him with a bit of smug satisfaction. ”Where am I?” Was the first words to pass its lips, the question went ignored. Before the day was done, he was shipped off, gold changed hands, smiles and nods were given back and forth quickly, papers were written up, and the warforged has handed a pen. ”Sign here please.” The warforged looked confused.
”What do you mean?”
”It’s… fresh.”
”Ah, well all the better then. We’re going to find you a name. Let’s see…”
”Miner, perhaps?”
”No, no, already got one of those, too confusing. …Ah, let’s stay simple though, shall we?” The woman looked the warforged in the eye.
”Write the word, ‘Servitor’ on that line there.” The warforged obeyed dutifully with knowledge fully known but never learned. From there, it was off to the mines. It was given a hammer, and told to break the rocks it was told to by one of its fellows. Servitor followed the orders, having never known a reason not to. The collapses were commonplace, but often underwhelming. The armor that made the warforged protected them from the collapses, then it was merely a matter of digging out the tunnel and retrieving the merchandise. It wasn’t like they needed to breath after all. For that matter, toxic fumes were of little danger to them as well, it was almost as if they were made for the job. The “mineforged” as some of the surface creatures sometimes called them while laughing toiled endlessly.
As Servitor continued its work, the complaints of the miners began to reach its ears. They wanted something different, they wanted something… more. What it was always changed from one to the other, Servitor thought it to be terribly inconsistent, and yet, could not help but feel its nonexistent heart yearning for what they spoke of.
The mine then collapsed on Servitor while he was working. His colleagues called to each other from their own places in the rubble, crying their pain, shouting their encouragement to each other, telling themselves that help was not long off, calling again and again to those who would not respond. The pain ate away at Servitor as its chest creaked and groaned under the weight of the boulder atop him. It wondered what it was that they spoke of. Why did Sledge wish to be a “merchant?” Why did Miner speak of the spells it could not quite remember? Why did Servitor wish to have these things it never saw, and never knew of?
Eventually, after what felt like an eternity, laying there with mangled limbs and caved in chest, Servitor heard the tell-tale sounds of hammers, and picks. The sight of the light of the flames was strange to it, how long had it been since it had seen that glow? As its body was pulled from the rubble, it was rushed by its fellows to the upper levels of the mine were it was to be repaired.
The surface creatures stood and watched the proceedings with bored stares. Once movement returned to its neck, Servitor looked at one of them.
”Why can’t I be a ‘merchant?’” The guard seemed slightly taken aback by the question for a moment, coming out of the silence as it did. Then the man chuckled, continuing into a full bellied laughter.
”Guess I win that bet… We had a pool going on as to whether or not you were actually one of the thinkin’ ones.” The words meant little to Servitor, as it waited for the answer to its question.
”You want to know why? Because that’s not what you were made for! You were made to serve us, and we say you mine!” Servitor still said nothing, and stared at the ceiling, lost in thought.
Days past as the repairs continued, and with each limb that regained its function, each dent that was removed, Servitors spirits grew. It was about to return, return to its home, return to its colleagues, return to its work. Its work. He understood the words now, he understood why he worked in the mines. This was its purpose, this was its meaning. It took a long time to find the right word to express its feelings, but finally it found it “fulfillment.”
The next day, another one of the surface creatures came into the workshop. He smiled as he placed a small pouch upon Servitor’s chest.
”What is this?” The warforged asked.
”Your pay for the last year.”
”What is this?” The warforged repeated the question. The guard hesitated, as he tried to understand the question.
”Its… uh, a token of appreciation from us. For all your hard work. You can spend it in town once your contract is up. I mean, once we took out the fee for your rent, the protection fees for the guards, replacements for all the tools you broke, your repair fee for the damage you took… it came out to be about two silver.” The guard’s face contorted, it almost looked strained, braced. ”We uh, decided to throw in the belt and the pouch for you too though, so you can keep it with you.”
”Thank you.” The warforged would have smiled if it could. The guard’s face looked strange again for a moment, pity? He turned and left without another word.
Years past, and eventually the loose tongues of the guards had a rumor spreading amongst the warforged. The Lord of Blades. Speak of freedom, escape, revolt began to circulate in quiet whispers deep in the tunnels. Servitor tried to persuade them otherwise. This was where they belong, this was where they were meant to be. Its pleas fell on deaf ears. Several months later, Servitor was told to follow one of the guards higher up. Servitor went up, higher than it had been since it first entered. It took it several minutes of the conversation to realize that this was the woman who had named it, its mother in a sense. She looked so different from its memory, older.
”Several of your… friends, have escaped.”
”But I told them not to.”
”Yes, well, they didn’t listen. While you were in tunnel 5M, they staged an attack from tunnel 9A, killing several people in the process.”
”But why?”
The woman stared for a moment, then smiled and shook her head before her face returned to a neutral expression. ”Because their minds are broken. They do not understand the world like you do.”
Servitor said nothing, but rage began to bubble inside him. They killed their masters, lied and betrayed them, and for no other reason than madness.
”You’re going to bring them back. They went chasing the rumors of this ‘Lord of Blades.’ Go find them, and bring them back.” The woman threw a few sets of manacles and fetters upon the desk in between the two.
”How will I do this?” Servitor asked.
”We’ll send you with a hammer, break them like rocks, then use these to bind their arms and legs, and these…” She pulled forward several pairs of earplugs, and ragged cloths. ”Use these to plug their ears, bind their mouths, and cover their eyes. And repair them so that they’ll be functional upon return. Then send them back with a courier. Tell them they’re escaped criminals who’ve broken their contracts.” She shook her head and muttered. ”Just adding more time to their contracts, those fools…”
”I will bring the traitors back.” The words utter forth easily from Servitors lips.
”Excellent, and if you happen to find any of your wayward… brothers, who have no master. Send them back here as well.”
”I will.” The woman smiled once more.
It was with this, that Servitor set forward into the world with nothing but restraints, a hammer, a belt and a pouch that held all its earnings over the years and newly made papers that made it “real” that the warforged set off into the world, with nothing but vengeance against his traitorous kind and this Lord of Blades in its still chest.

Howdy, cool ideas so far!
GM, what do you think of using the Skinwalker race as a Shifter? It is Paizo's version from Blood of the Moon, so it is already Pathfinder friendly.
Originally, I was thinking Slayer, but with few divine casters, a Lunar Oracle could be sweet.
Thanks in advance.

I am extremely excited about the thought you guys have put into all of your submissions. To help me out, would you please answer a couple of questions so I can get a better feel for your character? I will also use your answers to help develop your story should you join the game. Do not feel like you have to give long answers (just answers with some thought).
1. What is your character's long term goals:
2. What is your motivation for doing what you are currently doing:
3. What are your short term goals:
4. What is your character's greatest fear:
Some of you have already answered some of these questions in your backstory. You can just copy/paste the answers from there unless you want to add more detail.
Thank you again for your submissions. I have been spending time looking over each one in detail to attempt to put together the best team of players possible.

Consider it done sir!
1. To enslave all its "rogue" brethren, bringing them beneath their creator's heel, so that they may all serve their true purpose, and in time, know the fulfillment and satisfaction he does. As such the Lord of the Blades, is a complete anathema to himself, and sees it as a goal to "convert" the lost warforged.
2. In his hunt for his brethren, Servitor is finding itself sorely underequipped for the task, having barely any knowledge of the world outside the mines. As such, it has just been attaching itself to whomever will hire it so that he at least has some sort of structure to comfort itself, and hopefully find allies in its hunt as well.
3. To hunt more of its brethren.
4. To be without purpose. No amount of pain, hardship or trial bothers Servitor, but it must serve a purpose. Without purpose, it is nothing, and such a lack of direction terrifies the warforged.

a quick question, I'm working on my druid submission, and I wonder if I could get the shifter prereq waved for the moonspeaker Prc. I was going to make a dragonmarked(?) Druid of house Vadalis then PrC some. Final build looking probably like Druid 5/Vadalis Beastkeeper 10/ Moonspeaker 5.
Her name is Melody Vadalis, an up and coming Beastgeneral.
1.Long term goals. For Melody she wants to become a renowned beastmaster, a legend in her house, and to help maintain balance in the world after the horrors of the last war. Jak wants to experience a life of freedom, and become the king of something.
2. Melody is currently with her family training amongst the elder beastkeepers and druids. If we were RPing something one on one, currently escaping slavery for Jak would be awesome.(does one need a reason to escape slavery?)
3.For Melody, master summoning. For Jak, kill his way to freedom, find pretty girls to carry on with.
4. For Melody it is mediocrity, a life without purpose, or renown. For Jak it is a cage, not being able to run the hills, having his horns cut and his powerful limbs bound.

Here is some info if you want to check it out and add to her backstory. Also, players can have ties with named NPCs in the world if they want.
Some things that help backstories:
What town are your from?
Greenheart (Small town, 1,260) - Home of the Wardens of the Wood
Varna (Small city, 8,000) - Trade center and stronghold for House Vadalis
Cree (small town, 1,000) - fishing village
Wolf's Paw (Thorp, 75) - Shifter community
Who do you know?
Did (Mazina d'Vadalis is a female human and the chief magebreeder in the house) train you?
Things like that :)

alright character attempt number 2
Rhorn was raised to be a Vessel, a highly regarded position in Riedrian society. Rhorn had all the "qualities" of a true Vessel, quick of mind and body and dutiful to the Inspired. However Rhorn also had something most vessels weren't expected to have, curiosity. Rhorn eventually through deduction, reason and a little bit of "luck" figured out who the Inspired truly "were'.
Rhorn fled Sarlona then, his training as an agent of the Inspired helping his immensely in his goal of escaping Sarlona. Rhorn with a full understanding of what the Inspired will do to keep their secret safe has gone to ground in Sharn...
1. Find a way to defend/hide himself from the Inspired
2. Fear, especially of possession
3. Gain political/magical/monetary connections with which to pursue his long term goals, things like mercenary work are certainly within his capability.
4. The Inspired/Dreaming Dark
GM on class Rhorn can ultimately fulfill different roles, Cryptic or Mindblade make most sense considering his background as an Agent but a Psion of either the Telepathy or Clairsentience varieties isn't out of the question either. Your thoughts?

This is a very cool concept. If the characer joins the game, we could RP him escaping Sarlona before joining the others. It also opens up some intrigue with the possibility of the Inspired attempting to hunt him down. I am not too familiar with psionics, so feel free to build him the way that you like the most. Let me know the role he would play and how he would advance so I could balance the party. Would you go with the human race then?
