Hatfield begins to speak just as Dolland's bomb hits him in the face. The fiery habanero concoction goes right into the herbalist's mouth, and turn his pupils into tiny, watery pinpricks.

"eeep", he thinks whilst unable to vocalize his pain. "That's a spicy meatball!"

As an immediate action, the oracle terminates Life Link.

"Milk! Where's tha milk setting on this here wand?!?"

On a direct hit, an alchemist’s bomb inflicts 1d6 points of fire damage + additional damage equal to the alchemist’s Intelligence modifier. The damage of an alchemist’s bomb increases by 1d6 points at every odd-numbered alchemist level (this bonus damage is not multiplied on a critical hit or by using feats such as Vital Strike).

According to the parenthetical text in the quoted rules above, the damage should be 4d6+6, not 6d6+6.

Roger that. I'll try to be more precise going forward.

With the immediate threat gone, you are free to explore the area and discover the tunnel that Habblegash told you about. Altogether, you find:

- one bag of holding (type III)
- 5 days worth of rations
- three potions of cure moderate wounds
- a bag of dust of disappearance
- two elixirs of tumbling
- a newly crafted flask of dust of weighty burdens
______________________________

On your way back to the next level of the mine, you realize that there's a set of mine cart tracks that have been blocked off.

AREA A4

The is the other side of the area you approached from A3: This short tunnel appears to have suffered a cave-in to the north, while the unfinished efforts of digging the tunnel can be seen in the various mining tools near the southern wall.

Hand-waving since this is a CR8 encounter.

You find three undead miners who were trapped in the collapse here and put them to rest.

You also discover that, apparently, some of the miners were smuggling. There are small emeralds, rubies, and turquoises secreted away. Although unfinished, they could easily fetch 5,000 gp in total.

Silver Crusade

Area A13

The food stores in this kitchen have long rotted to dust. Two formidable rot grub swarms have taken up residence in this kitchen, feasting on the rotten food left over from the miners. They’ve all but expended the food source in these chambers, however, and are ready for their next meal...

Not bothering. This is a CR 8 encounter. Any one of you can solo it.

Rogar acts first. Calling forth the power of the storm, he dispatches them easily. Lightning bolt. 150% damage. And he can get both swarms at the same time.
__________

Area A14

This decrepit pantry's shelves are barren, save for the sheet of dust and soot covering the room. The hutch in the southeastern corner of the alcove appears to have been smashed in, and most of it lies in shambles.

The party finds a small secret drawer in a heavily damaged hutch. Unsticking the drawer reveals a flat container of silverware. Upon closer inspection, one of the spoons among the various ornate pieces of silverware (worth 300 gp altogether for their craftsmanship alone) is actually a sustaining spoon.

__________________________________________________

Divine Presence:
Divine Presence (Su): At 8th level, you can emit a 30-foot aura of divine presence for a number of rounds per day equal to your cleric level. All allies within this aura are treated as if under the effects of a sanctuary spell with a DC equal to 10 + 1/2 your cleric level + your Wisdom modifier. These rounds do not need to be consecutive. Activating this ability is a standard action. If an ally leaves the area or makes an attack, the effect ends for that ally. If you make an attack, the effect ends for you and your allies.

Since this is a new day, I would have started with a Heroes' Feast for everyone. Your temp HP for today is: temp hp: 1d8 + 6 ⇒ (6) + 6 = 12

Heroes' Feast benefits: +1 morale bonus on attack rolls and Will saves and a +4 morale bonus on saving throws against poison and fear effects for 12 hours.

@GM Batpony: Do you want me to roll a handful of these now to represent temp HP every day? Also, I am now capable of casting Status on Brother Theo, Theodric, Devko, and Harsk. So, I'll do that first thing each morning so that I'm aware of any conditions/effects/health.

GM Batpony wrote:

Glaube steps forward to interpose himself between the voice and the party. "We bear no ill will either," he says with all sincerity. While the human cleric is sincere, he is also cautious. He recognizes that he can protect his friends without hampering their ability to fight. He is ready to use his Divine Presence ability, if needed. "I, for one, had hoped to retire. However, it seems that our mission remains incomplete." He then offers a sheepish smile to wordlessly convey, "What can I do? I wanted to retire, but the bosses want us to work. Oh, well."

Every creature partaking of the feast is cured of all sickness and nausea, receives the benefits of both neutralize poison and remove disease, and gains 1d8 temporary hit points + 1 point per two caster levels (maximum +10) after imbibing the nectar-like beverage that is part of the feast. Glaube intends to use the Antagonize feat upon the attacking creature. The DC is equal to: 10 + the target's Hit Dice + the target's Wisdom modifier.

Sense Motive: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (1) + 12 = 13 (Bummer)
Diplomacy: 1d20 + 31 ⇒ (20) + 31 = 51 (Presumably, this is a success. I hope the target's HD + Wis Mod is not greater than 41!)

Effect:
For the next minute, the target takes a –2 penalty on all attacks rolls made against creatures other than you and has a 10% spell failure chance on all spells that do not target you or that have you within their area of effect. (My hope: In its zeal to get Glaube to shut up, the attacking creature becomes more vulnerable to Theodric and Harsk due to poor choice of positioning, etc.)

All good here. Glaube is pleased to leave his armor and weapons at the gate

Glaube takes good notes about the Cathedral. "What a fine show of devotion! These will be good inspiration for my sermons when I retire."

Are there any needy/downtrodden/beggars around? If so, Glaube will share a kind word, reassurance, a mending spell, or the like. He doesn't think of it as "making inroads" or "working the people." This is what he naturally prefers to do on a daily basis. He loves people. All people.

All of his "valuables" are in his Pathfinder Pouch which requires a password to access. Anything else, Glaube is fine with giving away.
