These seems a perfect place for me to start advocating for playable Flumpf stats. Bring on the flumpfs!

Yeah, but backwards it's WARGPS ... when the machines rise, they'll be able to locate all of us!!

When are the other Paizo folks going to allow you to scribe "Pathfinder Player's Companion: Flumphs of Golarion"?

The selection at my local Wal-Mart does indeed seem to suck. Then again, I've always found my local Wal-Mart's action figure selection to be extremely wanting.

I've got a few of the LUG Trek books (and a few of the Decipher ones as well) Never really got a chance to play them yet... Gaming groups are a fickle thing.

Been to the ocean plenty of times. Saw sand (not proper sand, mind you, just a whole lot of ground up shells pretending to be sand) and a lot of water (It was full of salt! WTF). Not to mention pelicans, gulls, jellyfish, horseshoe crabs, dolphins, and all kins of tasty tasty fish. But I live in Michigan, home of the Great Lakes (Practically freshwater seas in their own right), and I've seen gulls, and fish here as well. Can't say I've really seen anything interesting washed up on the shore, as I don't actually go to the lakes very often. Really not a big fan of driving half an hour to 45 minutes to spend some time in the water getting pestered by other people at the beach and gulls, all while getting a nasty sunburn. I can get the sunburn at my friend's pool without the other hassle. Also, I'm happier to be far away from that glowing orb of death that is the sun.

....This turned into far more of a rant than I intended... probably because it's 3:30 AM....

The Race books in the Player's Companion line are great and a ton of fun, but when will we see a corresponding Flumph book? We Flumphs are wonderful creatures and 9 out of 10 dentists agree that it would be better to get a Flumphs of Golarion book than get eaten by Great Old Ones.

This thread is nice, but it needs more ponies!

Also, Spyder, That gives me an idea to use the rules to convert my favorite races from that book. Though, I will likely get distracted and never do it.

I think they need to get the licensing to make that Final Fantasy Bestiary a reality! (Yeah, that'll happen...)

I would tweek the races a little, and not play most of them as is. EQ (in my opinion) had a habit of getting a little carried away with the racial ability modifiers.

Now that Daigle is working at Paizo, how much more likely for us to see a "Flumphs of Golarion" book?

After reading the Second Darkness article about the solar system, I await with baited breath to give you my money! Can we expect to see life on the moon of Golarion? I'm thinking Selenites from The First Men On The Moon, but I'm sure there are other great examples of moon-aliens (like the Lunarians from Final Fantasy 4).

Like these guys?

I wasn't part of the Paizo community at the time this was posted, nor did I own or play anything that was OGL (or even Slightly d20 based. I was a 2e purist). Though, now being a Pathfinder player and a member of the Paizo community, it's nice to see some of the thought processes that went into the old modules which I never bought... Also it makes me want to buy a certain module, if only for the nanites.

At long last! Flumphs of Golarion! The book will finally contain Flumphs as a player race, and well as Flumph alternate racial trate, archetypes, and Flumph weapons and armor! Thank you Paizo! Thank You! I am one happy flumph!
