Not all witches deserve respect though. Some of them seem bad enough to have houses dropped on them by little druid girls.

And I see that your time in the library has done wonders for you, Lhunk!

Not just books either! It has taken a few moments, years really, but eating a certain Demon Lord's heart does have its advantages!

As for eating books and tomes, that's almost too much fiber for me...

With a snap of his meaty fingers, a swarm of insects seem to come from all the dark corners of the castle. Once the black cloud of buzzing creatures stop in front of the man, he points to the front door sending the swarm to help the mindless zombie clean the mess.

A rift rips open in the foyer of Heydrich's mansion, and a tall humanoid creature steps out from the ichor of the portal. Dressed in dark, fur-lined robes, stands a man of seven feet, built of pure muscle. With shoulder length hair that was dirty and unkempt, he looked almost like a beggar, but carried himself with the dignity of a noble. Lhunk looked around, glowing eyes taking all he could see he, spots the small rat. Smiling a toothy grin, the behemoth of a man kneels and offers his hand, a few insects dropping to the ground.

"Lhunk found you! Auriea was worried after you scampered off. You come now, so I can take you home. Is not safe here for you with some of these people."

I've always wanted to play it, but haven't had the chance, so why not run it for others, and see what kind of shenanigans they can get into!

When Gameday happens, it seems that the forums for recruitments die out for a month or so. It'll come back after folks are done with their focus on the Gameday event.

Loads of good submissions! I will be using the following two days after recruitment closure to select the group! If no one has eyes on the board, I'll also send out PMs to everyone once the selection has been made.

It is correct that the traits don't lock you to certain mythic paths, yet they do offer some bonuses if the suggested path is taken that coincides with the trait. With how silly that is, I've been looking at the traits as to see what benefits go with the combinations, and will most likely change things up when we get to that bridge, which I think folks might like with what I'm planning.

Once level 2 hits, the 1 hour wait time for heals will go away, and I won't have to roll for medicine checks with assurance being an auto success. If I want to start hitting the DC 20 heals though, I'll still have to roll.

The Medic Archetype Opens up lots of Out of Combat and In Combat tricks, which is great.

Picking up Continual Recovery at 2, and Ward Medic at 3 will make healing much, much easier.

@eriktd: I don't mind too much, as it seems that your backstory could be from either trait, so one or the other would work in your case.

1 person marked this as a favorite.

@eriktd: I'll be accepting folks even with overlapping traits.

Geometer informed me that it was more for backstory purposes.

Besides, All paths can be chosen, and not locked in by the trait's associated path.

As another side note, rather than it being a group of 4 total, I'll be accepting 5 for a full group of six, as it seems silly and fun!

I got 2 or 3 ideas gestating in my mind, but I'll try and wait to see what your friend comes up with before finalizing anything.

Either Falcata Swashbuckler/Oracle(Spirit Guide), Unchained Monk(Scaled Fist)/Sorcerer(Tattooed), or maybe Alchemist(Vivisectionist)/Unchained Barbarian(Invulnerable Rager)...something like those.

Geometer is my friend, and they're going to be summoning and crafting/enhancing with both divine and arcane, so they'll have minions galore later on, which works quite well in pbp.

I'm interested! How silly are we talking here? I'm looking at a human Esoteric magus // White-haired Witch with the Stolen Fury campaign trait (flailing Muppet spaghetti arms).

The kinds of silly, in that I'm doing Gestalt and Mythic, so whatever you all would like to make, as long as it's not inherently evil.

An example is I view necromancy as not evil, if the cause works towards good, and the soul is willing to help, since they only lose their spot in line to get to the boneyard for judgement.

For the Automatic Bonus Progression, it would mostly to help with a lack of item distribution for saves/stats. When it comes to Arms/Armor, I would be running a version of the Upgradable Mythical Items, as +'s and Enhancements can be upgraded on currently bonded items, that way if someone finds something they like, they can use that or their bonded item.

As a side note, to help with armor enchantments, clothing and robes will be enchantable for those who don't wear armor.

A white necro seems thematic, as they abhor undead and get healing spells with the benefit of being a wizard.

For the current arcane setup:

* MordredofFairy/Farod Shamar - Arcane Trickster, 3 levels of Wizard: This would be great for utility and scouting, so with prep and out of the box thinking, would be great.

* Mighty Peon/Arden - Spiritualist with phantom companion - A Bloodrager with a Phantom Scout seems quite nice, but also doesn't have as much utility. A great front line buddy though!

* Ellioti/Elduin Faenan - Pact Wizard - A wizard with improved familiar built into it seems quite nice for the arcane bent.

* Zwordsman/unnamed - SoulBound Unchained Summoner - A summoner with an oracle's curse sounds interesting as a gish kind of character for quasi front line/skirmisher tactics. Interesting.

==Top List==
Farod would be my first pick, as the utility is amazing.
The White Necromancer that is being built is top with being a full progression arcane caster with access to healing spells.
Eludin is also top tier as they have a scout, and an aid another buddy.

==Mid Tier==
Ardan is a great mix of front line and scout with the phantom, but too many front liners tend to bungle things up in corridors and tight spaces.
Soulbound Summoner sounds interesting, and can have the same front liner issue if the eidolon is a melee combatant.
Ionemeh A full cleric with Wis to attack and channels against undead is quite nice, but again, with front line being a little crowded, things can get tight. Not as much utility as Arcane casters, but lots of buffs and cures to afflictions.

Personally, I think the hardest choice will be between the top three.

I'd be interested in joining you for this scenario if you have room for a 6th PC and don't mind a second wizard - Kurnek is an abjurer 2 (alchemist dedication), so hopefully there won't be much overlap. His faction is Vigilant Seal, and I haven't had a chance to play him in a faction-tagged scenario yet. That said, I don't want to step on anybody's toes - if you're full up or Kurnek would throw off the party mix, I'll step aside. I'm posting my chronicle info here just in case:

Player Name/Alias: Tusk the Half-Orc
Character Name: Kurnek Ruinmaker
PFS Character Number: 199504-2001
A/B/C: Human (half-orc)/Scholar of the Sky Key/Abjurer (alchemist dedication)
Level: 2

Perception: +4
Stealth: +6

Faction and current Rep: Vigilant Seal (20)

Downtime activity and any rolls: [dice=Crafting (Antiplague, lesser)]1d20 + 8

Not too much overlap, as I'm an Evocation Specialist with the Medic Dedication. Because of human shenanigans, I can heal everyone every 10 minutes rather than every hour without rolling. (Assurance is nice)

Agreed! Things hit much harder this time around, on both sides. That's why I'm going with the Medic Dedication once I hit level 2, as I'll be able to heal regularly out of combat quite well..

Also, taking skills I thought were good flavor has helped more than I thought, but low rolls tend to kill it, no matter what level one is. Chin up, we got this!

Sputtering from the goblin tea shower he just received, Valdris flails his arms about, trying to push Briney away. In the commotion, he spills his tea on himself, contributing to the mess of his fellow pathfinder agent's. After a moment, he begins to chuckle.

"Gah! This isn't the first time I was sprayed in the face by a goblin, but I think this has been the most harmless! I do have to say, your people might vary from my experience, but are never dull! Valdris, wizard and aspiring field medic at your service. As for the memories, isnt it a good thing to have more to think upon? I would say so, but I like knowledge."

Nodding at the talk, Valdris turns his head towards Amyas and Jasper, "The weather is fine, quite so in Absalom. As for being in the outdoors, Lord Amyas, I would say that hunting on one's estate is quite, safe, compared to the wilderness. The only people you can rely on would be the group you are with now. There is no safe shelter or civilization close at hand if things go wrong, whether it be the flora, fauna, or the wild terrain."

Continuing on with Jasper, while pointing at the survival guide in his hand, "I don't blame you for reading and memorizing that book, as it offers sound advise, but what it doesn't show you is also important. Can you tell if predator or prey is close at hand by the tellings of their excrement? Can you determine their intended paths not just by footprint, but other clues?"

Sighing, Valdris pats his for a moment before commenting on Leonie's remark, [b]"The rumors, I can say, aren't untrue. Though I do say most would prefer the term relic hunters. I am offering a word of caution that although you may have gear that seems quite nice, the practice of use to improve one's skill in the wilderness are vastly different than at an estate. My next question, is for all of you." Closing his eyes and taking a deep breath, the wizard opens his eyes, making sure he has eye contact with the group of nobles, "How prepared are you to die with no way to find your corpse in the wilds?"

"Maybe a bit of friendly competition wouldn't be so bad. Yes, yes, may the best team win!" Sniffing the air, the wizard looks about and grins. I generally over pack food stuffs myself, so I dont mind forgoing a few rations to make the dinner a bit larger, though it is mostly dried vegetables for soups."

Taking a moment as he begins going through his pack, Valdris speaks up, "I forgot to introduce myself after you fine folk did so. I am Valdris Heartwell, youngest of the Heartwell family. Casting light on his staff, the wizard makes his way to the group ahead, leaving his hands in the open, "I don't mean to startle you, but do you folk have more room about the fire? My companions and I have been traveling for almost half a week, and extra company would be quite nice."
