Eilren nods at the Tiefling with quiet determination. He feels that he has reached where he needs to be in this mission- an infiltration in the night to undo a curse afflicting the people- he is ready and buzzing with anticipation

Krissina- I took four damage (6/10 currently) in the last fight and I still have the healing potion from the start. Pity we can't split it between Shoun and Ren. Heal me if you can't use your song to better effect in the coming battle

Eilren will try to stay far enough away to be engaged in melee and will circle around trying to find cover where he can. He's thinking he'd like to be behind the assailants to fling blasts at their backs and is using his natural speed to best advantage

The weird elf will sneak to within range and use his fey powers to mesmerise as many of the smaller assailants as possible into a magical sleep

After watching Verik, Eilren will look around for elevated positions from which to shoot bows or fling magic taking note of any sturdy looking trees and buildings with roofs that will hold an elf's weight (or a man). He quietly wonders what all the fuss is about not having any foreboding of a invading force. He only half believes what they have encountered and learnt but plays along in support of the people he has fallen in with.

Without any elaborate ruse," the Wood Elf frowns. "It would give me pleasure to put my skills to use. I'm really not strong enough to help with your fortifications anyway."
Eilren turns to Krissina again, "I seem to be ever waiting for you to part with the readings of the writings we find... What does the scroll say..? And will someone take the time to translate the tome..?"

Eilren had ceased his struggling before knowing that he could not break free of the grasp of the Dragonborn. He now looks at the bewildering script on the scroll as Balyzar reads it. Looking up at the Cleric he tries to read the meaning of the script from his reaction, ever curious as to what might be discovered.
"So..? What does it say..?"

I'm assuming as I failed my Save that I'm genuinely afraid and resisting

The Warlock struggles silently against the much larger Dragonborn to no avail. Balyzar grabs and drags Eilren to the altar. It's not the first time the elf has been under someone else's control and he relents his resistance after a few seconds. He does however look directly into the Cleric's eyes as if to find some answer to his actions there.
What is his purpose in doing this? he wonders.

As Eilren feels that he doesn't want the ragged man to reach Krissina he stands between the two, draws himself up and uses fey presence to try to scare some sense into him. The elf pulls his hood back ever so slightly and his green eyes look into his soul exposing some deep fear

Sorry for spamming fey presence but I'm limited to what I can do to help and I hope the book and vial may hold a puzzle piece for our quest. DC12 WIS save or frightened for one round

As an aside to the party members when no one is in earshot Eilren says, "As I don't sleep the same as others I often wander during the night. As I believe we intend to stay the night here I will watch and see if others wander. You can often learn a lot about people if you know how they spend their nights..."

What Eilren means is that he plans to trance for four hours until midnight and then get up and stealth around the community and vicinity to watch the people and their homes and to see if anybody is up to anything. Apart from this the elf just isn't bright enough to be of much use in an investigation...
