Well, Ddraig's game to give it a whirl! How heavy are we talking?

Ddraig lends his rather large bulk to the effort.

Ddraig hacks again at the Bulette:

Enfeebling Strike on Bulette, using Divine Strength: (1d20+9=20, 1d8+4+4=13)

Sighs ...

Ddraig moves (to P27) then charges the Bulette:

Ddraig, getting sick of seeing his sword bounce off the Bulette, retains his mark and swings again:

Enfeebling Strike (again!) v Bulette: (1d20+9=26, 1d8+4=5)

Dear deity, that might actually hit!

Assuming that that hit, the Bulette takes a measly 5 damage, but takes a -2 penalty to attack rolls until the end of my next turn.

"You will die, abomination, by my hand or that of my comrades!"

The Boar turns and moves in for the gore:

Meanwhile, Ddraig maintains his mark on the Bulette, and has another swipe at it:

He then spends a healing surge and lays his hands on Ghadmyr (who can regain hp as if he'd spent a surge)

Ddraig skirts round the edge of the room (to Q29), Divinely Challenges his target and attacks the Bulette with Enfeebling Strike:

If that hits then, as I've marked it, it takes a -2 penalty to its attack rolls until the end of my next turn.

I presume that Macmoor couldn't use the healing surge provided by my Paladin's Judgment?

Ddraig takes his ongoing damage, then hacks at the Bulette with Paladin's Judgment:

1d20+10 v AC; on a hit, 3d8+5 damage, and one ally within 5 squares can spend a healing surge; on a miss, one ally within 5 squares can spend a healing surge.

Rolls: (17)+10 = 27 v AC; (3)+(4)+(6)+5 = 18 damage.

In addition, Ddraig uses the daily power of his Deathstalker Longsword, to deal an additional 5 ongoing necrotic damage (save ends; saving throws against this effect are at a -2 penalty.

"We will remove your foulness from the face of the Earth."

Ddraig then shifts back (to P27).

Ddraig takes his ongoing damage, then hacks at the Bulette with Paladin's Judgment:

First, an attack by the Boar:

The Boar shifts (R25 to S26 et al), and gores the Bulette:

Edit: as that's a crit (great timing, IC!), the damage is a majestic 8 instead of 7!!!!!

He then spends an action point and hits it again!

As a minor action, Ddraig uses his Divine Mettle power, to allow Healaugh to make a saving throw against being blinded, with a +3 bonus.

Then Ddraig strides forwards (R17; Q17; P17; O17; N16) and attacks number 3:

He then spews acid over No 3 and W:

Apparently Ddraig, unlike me, is awake!

Onwards! I'm happy to lead the charge, if everyone else wants me to.

Ddraig, displaying uncommon diplomacy (for him) sheathes his sword, bows, and begins to withdraw over the bridge.

"I know that ballad, friend Healaugh. As I recall the story, it goes not well for the defenders."

Given that we are no longer worrying about being stealthy, Ddraig is happy to take point, sword drawn and ready to defend himself.

There isn't anyone speaking in a faux French accent, suggesting that my mother was a small furry mammal and my father smelled of a tree-borne fruit, is there?

Ddraig swipes at W4 using Radiant Smite:

1d20+10 v AC; 2d8+6 radiant damage

Rolls: (19) + 10 = 29 v AC; (4) + (6) + 6 = 16 radiant damage

Ddraig then Divinely Challenges W4.

Ddraig shifts to O11 and uses Righteous Smite against W5:

1d20+9 v AC; 2d8+4 damage, and me and every ally within 5 squares (that's everyone) gain 6 temp hp.

Righteous Smite v W5 (1d20+9=21, 2d8+4=16)

Ddraig then unleashes his dragon breath against W2 and W3:

1d20+8; 1d6+1 acid damage.

Ddraig (reaslising that the troll is clearly wearing +3 brown trousers of fleeing) concedes that he will be unable to effectively pursue the troll, and decides to secure the area.

Ready Valiant Strike in case anything nasty or unwanted appears nearby.

Taking the javelin out and sheathing the sword is 2 minor actions, Ddraig. Let me know what you want to do. Ghadmyr - sure thing, go for it.

Please, Sir - I'm dropping the sword, not sheathing it! I'll pick it up in a minute, as there's no way that I can get to the troll - I'll let the ranged bods finish him off! However, it occurs to me that divinely challenging it would also be a minor action, so forget the challenge.

Ddraig (being somewhat out of options for a fleeing troll who's well beyond his running range!) climbs out of the river (at J30), takes a few steps forward to J33 and, dropping his sword, divinely challenges the troll, then hurls a javelin at it.

Javelin attack: 1d20+8 v AC; 1d6+4 damage

Rolls: 13+8 = 21 v AC; 6+4 = 10 damage

"Was it something we said?"

Ddraig, working with the current, moves to K29 and hacks at the northern-most Troll:

Radiant Smite: 1d20+10; 2d8+6

Rolls: 12+10=22 v AC; 5+4+6=15 damage

Ddraig then sprays acid over the two trolls:

Dragon Breath: 1d20+8; 1d6+2

Rolls: Troll A: 17+8=25 v Reflex; 3+2=5 damage

Ddraig, being conscious of his inate ability to be stealthy, decides to gently draw his sword ... and damn well stand still! (But is ready to charge forward if need be!)

Well, whilst I've always liked wildlife, perhaps on this occasion avoiding the cuddly bears might be a good idea!

Ddraig, seeing Ghadmyr's plight, (and feeling for him desperately!) pulls on the rope to help Ghadmyr out of the crater:

Possibly a waste of a crit, but never mind - hopefully Ghadmyr's out!

OK - once more with feeling ...

Athletics: 1d20+2 = 18+2 = 20

Right - we avoid further craters!

Ddraig, having finally climbed out, throws a rope down to Ghadmyr, and ties the other end firmly round a tree-trunk.

Frankly, with Ddraig's record of athletics checks, I may just wait for a rope!

Nevertheless, I'll give it a whirl:
