"Not a pleasing sight is it? Now then, can I see a way to disable the water jets? Better yet, turn them on the trolls? Scare them away maybe? Is that a good idea do you think?"
Ynyr furtles with the dam in an attempt to either switch off the water jets or get them to change direction.
Male Halfling Bard 4
"Ynyr."
Healaugh's voice is patient, but growing less so.
"Canst or canst not find way to turn off water?"
Male Dragonborn Paladin, Level 4
VERY pissed off that, for the second time, I've posted on Paizo early in the morning, only for the post to subsequently disappear. Not happy!

Swim check: DC15 - Roll = 13
Arse!
Again!
Fabes DM
You don't need to make Swim checks, as you can wade (which is a Move action). But, the current slides you 2 squares each time you enter a river square, so effectively, if you do not wish to be slid, each square costs 3 movement (or 2 if you don't mind sliding south 1 square each time.)
Male Human Artificer 4
What kind of roll would you like for Ynyr's furtling?
He needs to be next to the dam. Skill Challenge - 6 successes before 3 failures. Thievery or Arcana.
Male Human Artificer 4
He's next to the dam. Can he use the first thievery roll of 23 from nearly a page ago? It's OK if you'd rather not.
That's fine - 1 success and you have spent a standard action.
Male Human Artificer 4
"Ah. I think I see the way of it, don't I? Perhaps if I push this twig here ..."
Male Halfling Bard 4
"Just get bloody move on, will tha."
Healaugh sounds distinctly unhappy.
Male Human Artificer 4
"Delicate operation we have here friend Healaugh, it wouldn't do to be setting the jets off again, would it now?"

Can we wade across the whole thing? If that's the case, I should be able to get to I28 with a double move, which is what I do when Ynyr wraps up his furtling this round :)
Male Human Artificer 4
He's furtled. Only once per round I guess since he's already moved to get near enough to the dam.
The checks are standard actions.
Male Elf Druid 4
I need to update the map with Ddraig's move, apologies.

Ghadmyr, are you going to wade across?
Yes, to I28 if possible. (That should take 14 movement which is a double move.)
You can't that far, sorry. Please see the note about the current. I will move you as far as possible if you fight current (spend movement points).
Male Elf Druid 4
You said it is 2 movement if I don't mind moving 1 south each time. Effectively, I used two movement to move northeast, then slid south, then two movement to move northeast, then slid 2 south, etc. With a movement of 7, that should move me 7 squares to the southeast on a double move (move 14). If I have that wrong, let me know where that movement would end.
After I posted I did wonder if that was what you intended. Will amend.
Sorry for delays - Macmoor's up.
M Human Barbarian 4
Wade to N29.
Macmorr calls out to the trolls, "Laugh it up boys. We can all have a big laugh when I get to you."
Male Halfling Bard 4
"None so sure I'm getting close any time soon if'n our Ynyr don't get move on with water jets."
Healaugh's turn.
Macmoor wades across the river with murder on his mind...
Male Halfling Bard 4
Move to Q28; double move. One to stand, one to move two squares taking three movement points for each to avoid being pulled downstream.
Grumbling under his breath, Healaugh gives up on the stepping stones and gets into the water.
"Bugger this. Can't be wetter."
Trolls turn!
Trolls move to within Reach 2 of Ghadmyr. Troll A makes a claw attack
1d20 + 10 ⇒ (20) + 10 = 302d6 + 5 ⇒ (6, 5) + 5 = 16
Troll B makes a claw attack vs Ghadmyr.
1d20 + 10 ⇒ (16) + 10 = 262d6 + 5 ⇒ (4, 1) + 5 = 10
As that attack bloodies Ghadmyr, the troll B makes a Frenzied Strike - another claw attack
1d20 + 10 ⇒ (19) + 10 = 292d6 + 5 ⇒ (3, 6) + 5 = 14
Total damage to Ghadmyr this round - 40 You are now on -1 and unconscious in the water.
The trolls ignore Macmoor and attempt to rend Ghadmyr limb from limb. The druid falls into the water, his blood making a thin trail...

Ddraig and Ynyr are up.
Male Elf Druid 4
Remember what I said about how we should leave these trolls alone? I take it all back.
Male Halfling Bard 4
Why is Healaugh still prone?
Male Human Artificer 4
"Well now this is not the right way to treat wayfarers, now is it?"
Ynyr stops faffing with the dam and hustles down the river bank.
"Right now Ghadmyr, soon have you sorted out, won't we?"
Move to Q22
Life tapping darts. 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (19) + 6 = 25 - Ref v Troll A. On hit, Troll A takes 2d10 + 4 ⇒ (4, 5) + 4 = 13 damage and Ghadmyr gets 10 temp hp. On a miss, half damage and 5 temp hp to Ghadmyr.
Healaugh isn't; error on my part - forgot to flip him. Ynyr hits. Ghadmyr is conscious with 10 temp hp.
Seeing his new friend in danger, Ynyr uses his magic to draw the life force from one of the trolls and redirect it into his friend. The troll ceases to laugh, and growls in pain.
Male Human Artificer 4
Ynyr waggles an admonitory finger. "Better manners you're needing there my tall friend, aren't you?"
M Human Barbarian 4
"Who's crying now, Greeny?"
Male Dragonborn Paladin, Level 4
Right!
Ddraig, working with the current, moves to K29 and hacks at the northern-most Troll:
Radiant Smite: 1d20+10; 2d8+6
Rolls: 12+10=22 v AC; 5+4+6=15 damage
Ddraig then sprays acid over the two trolls:
Dragon Breath: 1d20+8; 1d6+2
Rolls: Troll A: 17+8=25 v Reflex; 3+2=5 damage
Rolls: Troll B: 8+8=16 v Reflex; 4+2=6 damage
"You will regret your foolishness, young trolls, but only briefly."
Male Elf Druid 4
Ddraig lets the current carry him to the trolls, slashing as he surges up to them, and unleashing acidic hell!
The trolls yowl in agony as Ddraig takes advantage of their weakness to acid.
Nice one, you hit with the sword and the breath. Their regen is cancelled until the end of their next turn.

Ghadmyr stands up and, with a feral roar, turns into a ferocious mountain lion. In a vicious frenzy, he launches himself at the two trolls, claws and fangs tearing flesh, before darting away to a safe distance.
Move action to stand. Minor action to wild shape. Shift to I29. Spend an action point (did I mention that I'm angry at these things?) to use Darting Bite. 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (15) + 7 = 22 vs reflex on troll 1, 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (13) + 7 = 20 vs reflex on troll 2. 1d10 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 7 radiant damage on a hit. If at least one of those attacks hit, I can shift to E29.
