The only scroll was the scroll of restoration that the priests gave you at the Cenotaph…
Still a inquisitor 4th level spell that you can't get from other people's spellbooks (since wizard and magus don't have it). Thanks!

I’m assuming no further purchases…Will move us forward in the morning,..
And no worries, Greyveil..

Friendly reminder that...
The damage of an alchemist’s bomb increases by 1d6 points at every odd-numbered alchemist level (this bonus damage is not multiplied on a critical hit or by using feats such as Vital Strike).

1 person marked this as a favorite. |

I hope it wasn't moved up too far, that would probably hurt.

Sorry, busy day at work and dinner and play (as in theatre) date tonight; will move us along tomorrow…

If Greyveil doesn’t post by lunch, I’ll try to bot him…he has a shot at passing this check…

I'm going to suggest we might need to shift to full wolf forms for the chase, as these DCs seem way out of our reach. The speed bonus should at least negate the high tier adjustment.

This is a different type of chase. You’re looking for the group to succeed, not necessarily the individual, hence the insanely high DCs. Any roll 10 or higher counts as an aid (+2); spells or special actions (like Greyveil’s fly) are automatic aids. You’re just looking to nudge one score to higher than 4 + the DC listed on the map. With Greyveil’s fly on the 1st obstacle, that’s a pass and with Waki’s roll and aids, you’ll pass the second as well. You advance even if you fail a check, it just takes you longer to get there and that can determine Cybelle’s fate…
Had a busy weekend but will move us forward this afternoon…

I loved the first chase back in Curse of the Crimson Throne, where my dwarven ranger/wizard had all the tools needed to make it cinematic and entertaining.
Then there was the werewolf chase in an EX scenario, which got mixed results from one party beating everything and catching up in the first check to another party fumbling and falling so far behind with no recourse.
I did like the typo on one of the later chases that let my undine swim through a door. But they've been a mixed bag of changing rules and frustrating/exhilarating results.
