I still have a cute want in my I ge tory, but another wouldn't be unwanted. Potions/scrolls of those would be hand though, frees up spell slots for me. Should have them on hand just on case though.
rando1000
Okay, I added a "Party Potions" section to the page header. The potions listed are in addition to any potions individuals might have purchased that are listed on individual character sheets. They start to get expensive at 3rd level, so I limited my purchases so as not to tap you out.
In addition, Zia can cast Remove Disease, Neutralize Poison, Remove Curse, Cure Moderate Wounds, and Cure Light Wounds.

Useful abilities when Yoltin's otherwise tapped out.
Also, not strictly necessary, but crunching the funds down to [(1x) 1810gp 10sp 4cp] would be useful. We can otherwise imagine them being in loose coinage when needed, but just the raw GP total would be fine. I left out the gem in this.

Done. You easily could have done this physically in Albarra anyway. For new treasure, I'll track both the real values and the gp total from now on.
rando1000
I mean 3x sunrod, 2x smokesticks and 1x tanglefoot?
Oh, I'm not sure if you noted this, but we bought the following before you left Albarra:
20 sunrods
5 smokesticks
10 sacks, 600 coin capacity each
You probably haven't used more than 5 of the sunrods, so if you bought more and want a refund, go ahead and take your money back.

On (I think) the upswing of my concussion, as well as office work for the next little while as I recover. That means plenty of PbP time!
I was just recently camping in the central Sierras, and the description of the forest we're in feels spot on for it. Scatterings of pine trees with huge glacial boulders all over the place.

Glad it rings true. I've been researching. Also, welcome back! Though you didn't get to make the roll yourself, you'll be happy to know Amideo struck the final blow on a Dragon with his lance, from horseback.

Glad to have you generally back around, and hope you recover well from it all. Unlike Rando, I didn't look into forest back when I first made Yoltzin and was stereotypically picturing something that was definitely more Amazonian.
Uret Jet
Yeah, definitely. "Yoltzin of Dark Canopies" and darkness adaptied eyes are in dirrect reference to that sorta environment, but it don'hafta be. Interesting to know what the region is actualy like.

It feels like we've been very active last couple weeks, I'm hoping that could tinues on. I know I kinda have a big stake in this adventure arc, but I've been very invested so far. I find myself checking to see if there's a new post every few hours!
Uret Jet
Presumably, Yoltzin would know what the proper mode of conduct would be when introducing outsiders to the village? As proper as that can be I suppose, considering how such a thing might less be unheard of and more heavily discouraged.
rando1000
She might have witnessed it happening once or twice in her years, at most. The protocol would be to talk to the Head Priestess and the Chief Elder at the Temple. They would either accept or deny the foreigners entry. If they are denied, they would have to leave immediately, under armed escort. If accepted, they can come and go around the village, and leave if they choose, but not return without a member of the community escorting them.

I was typing out a reply on my phone, and when I scrolled up so I could open a up a page for reference I instead refreshed the page... Damnit.

For a brief momment I considered saying "Mother", but I think that'd be pushing your improvisation too far, hah.

I mean, they hadn't killed him yet, so good sign so far!

Next one to post gets a prize!
I don't know what that prize is, but it seems like there should be one for hitting a 1000 post milestone.
Also, the moment with Yoltzin dropping the one word in Espan in a whole conversation of Elven is a really funny mental picture, I'm just imagining a whole conversation in something like Chinese (at least for an English speaker like myself) only for you to out of the blue hear the word "ostentaious" or something similarly complex and then the Chinese just continues.
I know I'd be pretty baffled.
Uret Jet
Figures that Rando posts our leaving while I was busy writing a response about Ealing up, hah.
rando1000
Lol it's fine. Just assume my post hasn't happened yet. I'll post it again after any replies to your post. Everyone feel free to reply and/or do anything you would like before leaving Luln. I'll hold back moving you guys out of the village until tomorrow evening.

Who is Rosentos? Do you need water? Please, sit.
Need to know if this is a bluff attempt or if you (the Player) didn't remember that Rosentos was the leader of the party of soldiers whose expedition you're investigating. If the latter, let me know if you'd like to change your response.

I forgot, my bad. Edited/corrected.

Given how she was calling out using a humans name, I presumed she was speaking g Espan myself. Yoltzin is just trying Elven as an attempt to ground the probable spirit.

Leaving it up to you.

RAW it's fine. Go ahead and I'll narrate based on the save results.

I swear that I spend the first turn in half our fights merely using channel energy to negate some portion of the AOE damage we were just inflicted with.... Sucks then that my channel dice just do not want to play ball one inch. That's not even a third of the damage we took.

Have faith!
Also, I don't think she's in a tree, just 5' up hill. Difficult terrain (or slope), can't charge.

True, but it does have the added bonus of bringing your arcane caster back to consciousness. And she has some healing spells as well.

Correct.
And just so you know, no this is not a stock CR 13 PF banshee; she has been significantly weakened by the daylight, even though there's no direct sun on her. You guys are good, but not quite that good yet, I think.
rando1000
The map I settled on isn't exactly accurate, but it gets the idea across. Instead of rocks with a banshee on the ledge, it's just a rise, a sharp hill. You can ascend it at half-speed as I mentioned.
Also the trees where the banshee is are nowhere near right on the map; see my description for reference on that. Just ignore them for combat purposes; assume any square near the banshee can be occupied as normal.
