Thanks to all of you for playing. Sorry we didn’t get a little further with the last battle.
I’ll give you a day to do any day job rolls and include those in the chronicles. Otherwise you can do it yourselves, it is no longer required that the GM handle downtime.
Hope to game with you again sometime, either as a player or GM.
Take care!

GM Bret, thanks for running the game. I know the specials are especially stressful because the master GM has you (and us) on a clock. Someday I'll try.
Burn has no day job.
Everyone, it was great playing with you. I've never played a special with such a battle worthy group. I am convinced they would broken on us like waves on a granite shore. Fun PCs too; great characters.
I hope to see you all around the boards.

You did a wonderful job, sir. Running specials face to face can be exciting and it can also feel like actual work. Running it online like this can't be any easier.
We once again got lucky with a well balanced group. Thanks yo all for playing!
Oh yeah, Bonkers is much too busy working on theory and creating interesting serums and such to be craft. No day job. :)

Thanks for running. Sorry for disappearing at the end. I think I probably need to avoid playing on the boards and stick to discord. Really hard to sneak a post in on mobile between work and being dad.
No day job for Grognard.

Hey, real life happens. It was good that you told us to aggressively bot you Grognard.
I have tried playing in Discord, found it more stressful than I want in a game. I am the type that can’t stand leaving a notification for later, so the immediate notification was a distraction. I much prefer the boards where I only check when I have time to do something.
I’m sure there are others that like Discord better. It has come a long ways since I first tried it and with things like Tupper a GM can do some fun stuff like use unique identities for each NPC.
I do recommend people try it sometime, maybe on a quick bounty or something like that. Tableplop (for maps) is something I’ve considered using for the forum PbP but haven’t done yet.
I have also seen GMs use Discord for notifications and boards for the posts. The boards make it much easier to go back and see what has happened previously in the game.

Specials have this weird habit of interrupting encounters to move forward, but it can't be helped.
Since Dofon has no other use for downtime at this point, dayjob it is:
Professor: 1d20 + 6 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (11) + 6 + 4 + 1 = 22
Thanks for having us and running the special! And a thank you to the teammates as well.

People won't finish things at exactly the same time, so it's that our waiting (or both).
I really like specis, but I can understand why Sunriver night not.
IT: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (3) + 10 = 13

I tried Discord for a short time. There were pluses and minuses. The biggest minus was when I tried to join a game after months away, but couldn't remember my login and they wouldn't or couldn't help me. Some ridiculous story about improper email access when I was clearly writing them from the email that was used to make the account. It just wasn't important enough to get mad or push the issue so I dropped off entirely.

Chronicle safely received, thank you again for the fun and occasional giant bug on the ceiling. We'll see if the swarm manages to pop out of Kretishkar in the future.
I had two forum games and two discord games to try out during this gameday. Both methods have their ups and downs, and I don't really have a clear favorite.

GM Bret, thank you very much for GMing this! You are a truly great GM!
...Unfortunately, I can't say this about myself as a player this time, but real life sometimes makes its own adjustments. I'll show my best side next time .)
PS I sent you my email in a personal message, thanks!
