As you are rowing the row boat someone needs to make a sailing check to sail to the rear of the Dominator.
Once you reach the cabin windows beneath the
quarterdeck, you simply need to break in and quickly
disable the tiller before returning to your own ship to drift
past the Dominator in the dark and escape.

Cerise "Ci Ci" Barchetta |

Ci Ci goes along with Manny to help.

I could sneak in and cut ropes. We have any magic that makes me even sneakier?

You must then make DC 12 Climb checks to clamber up to the
sterncastle galleries and reach the correct windows. The
windows to the cabin are not locked. So everyone going up make climb checks and stealth if possible.

Emerald Delta Waters |

Well I think I will destroy the rudder from under the ship first then climb up

Capricia the Pirate |

Capricia waits anxiously back aboard the Queen's Grace, ready to give the crew the order to set sail, pick up the sabotage crew, and escape from the Chelish ship.
Sorry for the extended absence. Hectic time at work seems to be over; now I just have to get my sleep schedule back to something decent.

Not a problem Capricia. I get wrapped up in things quite often and Emerald has been sick all week this week.

Cerise "Ci Ci" Barchetta |

Ci Ci is keeping the rowboat in place, so they have somewhere to escape to, once the sabotage is completed. I have already made a Profession Sailor roll. Do I need to make a second roll?

brvheart |

Is Kaliban going with or staying with the ship? So far you only have Manny and Emerald going although I can have Rosie go as you are down a player.

brvheart |

Keep rolling canny climb checks Manny.
You will need to roll at least 10 twice.

brvheart |

Manny and Emerald have made the climb to the Tiller cabin.

With both of them rolling 33s is an easy job to evade detection. Now to just cut the rope, climb down and row back to the ship.

Manny will cut the rope to win.

Manny just needs to roll his climb checks to climb back to the boat. CeCe roll Profession Sailor.

As you sail away you hear screaming from the Dominator's captain as the tiller falls to the floor of the cove. They fire ballista but are hopelessly out of range.

You take a Sail on the Dominator but not before taking on a passenger. Seems someone escaped from there having been on the ship that the Dominator last defeated.

Nico Dalian |

Having picked the locks and got his gear back Nico strolls back to the top deck and looks over the new owners of the Dominator. "Hey there! Got anything to drink?"
You see a lean, young man, tanned and wearing leather armor, a crossbow and a guitar on his back. "Names Nico, late of the good ship 'The lucky Bastard'. Turned out the Chelaxians don't like lucky bastards and scooped us up last week."
He smiles and awaits a response.
bluff: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (6) + 7 = 13
He's nowhere near as relaxed as he's trying to act. Happy to be out of the Chelaxian's hands. Worried about who the new owners are?

Cerise "Ci Ci" Barchetta |

"Glad to have you aboard, Nico. Not least because it means I'm no longer the greenie," Ci Ci replies. "Besmara saw fit to bless you with us as your shipmates. Cerise Barchetta, or Ci Ci, if you like." She gives the bard a friendly smile. "Apart from spreading the faith of the Sea Queen throughout the Shackles, I'm also a Harrower. Let me know if you ever want your fortune read."
Sense Motive: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (10) + 11 = 21
She leans in and whispers. "Don't worry, The Code applies on this ship. As long as you pull your weight and don't steal from your shipmates, you'll be fine."

Nico Dalian |

Giving Ci Ci a friendly smile, with more than a hint of relief mixed in Nico responds, "Nice to meet you to Ci Ci, especially since you just got me out of their brig. I've worked on a few ships so being the greenie is fine by me."
He looks around and whistles in admiration. "Stealing a warship sent to catch those nasty pirates! That's going to get a lot of attention, good and bad."

Nico Dalian |

Nico looks around for the source of the voice, "Kill? Well the Marine the devil worshippers had guarding the brig did suffer a fatal head knock when he got distracted by all the shouting about the tiller. Aside from that I was a quiet little mouse. Lotsa them and only one of me."
He holds out a bottle of fine brandy that's already been opened and had a few shots taken from it. "I did find this on me way out and thought I'd settle my nerves. Seems even Chelaxians have some taste. Want some?"

Cerise "Ci Ci" Barchetta |

Ci Ci pulls out her Harrow Cards, unrolls her mat, and starts laying them out in the traditional pattern.
"Let's see what the cards have to say about where we might find a well-deserved shore leave...."
Perform Harrow Reading: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (13) + 11 = 24

Capricia the Pirate |

A tall, fit human woman with red hair joins her crew on deck and gives the new blood the once-over. "Looks like this fellow's got the making of a fine pirate," she comments, not overly enthusiastic but generally honest and friendly in tone. "You say you've lived in these waters all your life, eh? Me too, though I've not been much of a traveler until these last few weeks. Welcome aboard the Queen's Grace. Work hard, keep out of trouble, and maybe keep the crew entertained and you'll earn a share of whatever plunder we take. Sound fair to you?"
Even as she finishes talking to the new fellow they'd rescued from the Chelaxians, her eyes wander to Ci Ci and the Harrowing she's performing. "What say the cards this time?" she asks, sounding a wee bit skeptical.
Eventually, the captain gets around to her thoughts about next moves. "I'm thinking maybe we go back to Rickety's Squibs for a bit. I promised Captain Pegsworthy I'd repay the honor he gave us by christening his ship once it's been properly squibbed. Probably too late for that now, but at least we can get the word out to the locals there that The Dominator is pirate-hunting in these waters."
I should have Capricia leveled up by some time this weekend (hopefully tonight), so I'm back with you all.

Nico Dalian |

Nico nods respectfully when the captain talks to him. It never pays to get on the bad side of the officers first thing.
Profession Sailor: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (12) + 9 = 21
He does his best to get the layout of his new ship sorted in his mind, helping out where he's needed.

Cerise "Ci Ci" Barchetta |

Despite the dismissive tone from the captain, Ci Ci completes the harrow card reading, knowing that not letting the cards play out as intended is asking for trouble.
(Do the cards say anything?)

A ship suddenly comes into view, sailing across the setting sun.
The glaring light behind it makes the details of the ship difficult
to make out, but its lines suggest a whaler riding low in the
water. As the last light of day disappears below the horizon,
the distant ship also drops from sight in the gloom of twilight.

Capricia the Pirate |

After the evening meal, Captain Capricia gathers the ship's officers; she also invites the new guy, Nico, to participate, to get a better feel for the head he's got on his shoulders.
"Well, seems to me we should follow in the wake of the whaler we spotted, so long as it's moving more or less in the direction of Rickety's Squibs," she reasons aloud. "If she's taking on water, we should have no problem closing on her. Then, come the morrow, we'll see what we see and perhaps either plunder her booty or, if we're feeling generous and kindly, get her crew to shore before their vessel goes under. Does my plan seem sound? What say you, Fishguts?"
