Aye mate, let's go, which is faster, water or land, I can swim over there quick.
Capricia the Pirate
"Aye, let's check it out--by land," Capricia says. "Tilley and Kroop--you're in charge while we're away." Drawing her falcata, the captain starts striding in the direction of the watchtower.

The trail itself winds through the jungle behind the Commons (area A4), then follows the knife-edged ridgeline as it climbs along the headland. The way is rocky and steep, overgrown with jungle foliage, and drops precipitously to the cove 50 or more feet below.
brvheart
As you make their way along this trail, they come upon a pair of wild boars that are hungrily rooting around. The boars are aggressive
and immediately attack. The trail is only 5 feet wide where they attack, which means only one boar can reach you at a time. So the first one attacks Nuts

Callum curses under his breath at the tight trail the group was following to get to the watchtower. He ha no problems with crowding and enclosed spaces when on a ship but this jungle trail surrounded by thick foliage was... unnatural to him.
He cursed again when they ran into the wild boars. He's usually has a way with food, but these two pieces of living pork were too enraged for that subtlety. Instead he pulls out his crossbow. Instead of begining the work of cranking that sucker, he instead took the time to rally the group against the boar in the lead.
Move action: draw crossbow.

The trail is only 5 feet wide
where they attack, which means only one boar can
reach the PCs at a time. Anyone who falls from the trail
plummets 1d4×10 feet before landing on a hard ledge
below. Climbing upon the crumbling, jungle-covered
rocks requires a DC 12 Climb check.
So Manny there is no getting around the Boars to sneak without climbing the cliff.

That would be a running high jump. Kind of a high DC on that one. Also need to get the length too.
As you need to have 10' running start, the distance one is a DC 25 so if you want to try....

It doesn't matter for this round (because I already posted an action), but I'm not on the initiative list? I rolled a 15.

Frustrated by the bottleneck, Capricia looks around, trying to come up with a solution to the problem. Seeing Vikla wielding her lengthy boarding pike, the captain barks: "Vikla! Trade places?"

Sure boss
With her boarding pike shrinking, Vikla instead uses her storm burst domain power
: As a standard action, you can create a storm burst targeting any foe within 30 feet as a ranged touch attack. The storm burst deals 1d6 points of nonlethal damage + 1 point for every two cleric levels you possess. In addition, the target is buffeted by winds and rain, causing it to take a –2 penalty on attack rolls for 1 round. You can use this ability a number of times per day equal to 3 + your Wisdom modifier.

After the boars are defeated, a large, colorful parrot flaps down at you and squawks, “Shoo, fly, don’t bother me!” several times before turning and flying back along the trail toward the watchtower.
brvheart
When you arrive at area A1, you find a number of broken rum bottles on the ground below the tower.
Capricia the Pirate
"Well, it looks like maybe the guards are on a bender, but it can't hurt to be safe. How 'bout Lief and I head up into the tower while the rest of you search the area for anything unusual?"
Not entirely sure of the protocol, Capricia opts to try some nautical propriety in this instance.
"Ahoy! Permission to come topside for some parleying?" she calls up toward the tower.
brvheart
There is no response, but you can see a ladder to the tower’s simple wooden platform.
Capricia the Pirate
The captain looks toward Lief and shrugs. "I'll head up first; you follow and do the talking...if there's any of that needed."
Capricia climbs the ladder slowly and stealthily.

Lief gives the captain a nod and follows her up the ladder, making no effort to be quiet about it. "If anyone is up here, please don't attack me- Rickety asked us to come check on you." He looks up towards the platform as he climbs, quickly realizing there's not much to see above him other than the captain's legs and backside.
"Not a bad view from up here," he calls down to the rest of the group. "But while you're down there, it might not be a bad idea to look for signs of boars, or blood, or anything like that on the ground?"
Lief Stoutspear
Lief laughs.
I suppose turn around is fair play
”Thanks for noticing,” he calls back down, “maybe later you can get a closer look.”

You find the twisted remains of a rope hammock and a few
scattered items of clothing. Lying beneath the hammock,
with one boot on and the other lying across the floor from
it, is the f lyspecked corpse of an elderly man. He is recently
deceased, and one side of his neck is black and swollen to
the size of a melon. A dried ring of foam cakes the man’s
beard and moustache around his lips. The parrot flaps
over, alights on the corpse, and squawks again, “Shoo, fly,
don’t bother me!”
Capricia the Pirate
Wincing in distaste at the bloated corpse, Capricia takes some time to look around the platform for anything out of the ordinary. Then she moves to inspect the corpse. Noting the wound on the old man's neck, she asks Lief, "Does that look like a giant wasp sting to you? If he said 'Shoo, fly, don't bother me' to one of those, he'd have been in for a rude awakening."
