This is the season I am looking at running with perhaps a few other repeatables thrown in

Pathfinder Society Intro: Year of Immortal Influence

A Pathfinder Society Scenario designed for 1st- through 4th-level characters.

A new year comes for the Pathfinder Society, and what better way to start it off than by attending a fancy event? The Pathfinders find themselves invited to a charity dinner to benefit the Knights of Lastwall fighting in far-off lands against the lich king, Tar-Baphon. They're not the only important Absalom-based faction there however, as the event is filled with lords and ladies and socialites of all kinds, including the Peacebuilders, a group dedicated to ensuring the Pathfinder Society pays for any of its mistakes. In the middle of dinner, evidence of a strange ritual is found and the Pathfinders must investigate before dinner becomes a murder mystery!

Haven't played that one, so any of my characters should be good!

NPCs, Handouts, and Maps

I haven't played this one either.

I have Long Leg Greg (Human Thief), who I've played I think twice in PFS.

I also have Skraff (Goblin Cleric of Abadar), who I've never played (and might need a review -- this was the first PF2 character I made as I was reading through the character creation rules).

The character I'm playing in my friend's PbP is a Root Leshy Thaumaturge, Myke, who is currently in Strength of Thousands.

(Also happy to make someone new, if you don't like the look of these!)

I think that if you wanted to play the cleric you would need to use the Remaster rules for him since he has no previous xp, but I like what the Remaster did for clerics.

Which scenarios has Long Leg Greg played?

I always like seeing the British/Canadian spelling of things

lol -- I can't help it. I'm an editor and if I start using American spellings online, I'll end up making mistakes at work :P

I'll have to look into the Remaster -- lemme know if that's on Archives of Nethys or if there's another link I should go to.

As for Long Leg Greg, I'll have to check my sheets when I get back from vacation tomorrow -- I can't remember what I played. There's a drop-in game every week around the corner from me, but unfortunately it's at a bad time for my schedule so I usually can't make it.

The player core 1 and 3, Gm core and monster core, all the remastered stuff are allnfonally on neyths

the cleric is on player core 1

NPCs, Handouts, and Maps

Looks like Long Leg Greg has been in Scenario #1-19 (Iolite Squad Alpha and Scenario #3-05 (Inheritor's Rite) -- these were in the winter of 2023, so also before the remastering.

You would have the option to Remaster him then if you would like. I tend to use RPGSheets and you could put that in one of the notes.

NPCs, Handouts, and Maps

Okay, I'll have to look into what the changes were for the Remaster, but since it's been so long since I've played PF2, I might just have to rebuild them from scratch. (That shouldn't take too long, once I find the time to start!)
I did just buy the Core Rulebook about a year ago -- how big of an overhaul was the Remaster? Like, can I print out a dozen sheets of "errata" or am I looking at buying a new book?

You might want to get the pdf version for reference but I tend to collect game books.

We need 3 or 4 playerz to do PFs, do you thonk we ahould recruit or will we have enough feom this group?

I'm in, Paguroid is in, sounds like Braith and Jaylen may be interested as well. That gives us 4... Let's wrap this one up first!

Another resource for building your PF2 character is Pathbuilder2e.com. Doesnt necessarily explain the rules on building a character real well but its free and is pretty comprehensive.

Pathbuilder and herolab are fone for builsing bit according to PFS rules you need the pdf of the materials you want to use and some might need a boon or use ACP points

Do people have an idea of what they want to play ?

I’m super flexible on what to play, happy to fill in a missing slot. What’s the most straight-forward or easy to play? I’m guessing a fighter of some sort.

I think most builds are really customizible, so you can have a ranged, sword and board, two janded weapon, fighter. There are also gunslingers.

Common ancestries can be played for free as well as some of the mixed heritages, i.e. Nephilim for example.

Players get a certain about of ACP points (Achievement points) per scenario, quest, played. You can use those to purchase boons to have other options. IIRC when you register you are given 80 ACP's to start with. IIRC that is enough to play a lizardfolk, hobboblin, gnoll and a few other ancestries.

This is an example of a 1st level PFS2e character that I have.

Experience for scenarios is 4 xp per scenario. You need 12 xp to level. He currently has 8

NPCs, Handouts, and Maps

I've completely forgotten how PFS works, tbh.

I'll revamp one or both of the characters that I've mentioned above. I'd like to play Long Leg Greg, but I recognize that a Thief character (like the tough of the gang) might not fit in well in a small group, so happy to make someone new also.

Thieves get bookoo skills and their sneak attack is dirty. IIRC you csn get it for every hit when you flank

What ancestries are being considered?

Envoy's Alliance

male human (versatile) magus 1 | HP 18/18 | AC 18 | F +7 R +6 W +6 | Perc +4 | Stealth +3 | 25 ft | Hero 1/3 | ◆ | ◇ | ↺ | Active Conditions: - -

This is Aesh, I would use Ebiten here.

There is a new hybrid study on the Tian player guide

Envoy's Alliance

male human (versatile) magus 1 | HP 18/18 | AC 18 | F +7 R +6 W +6 | Perc +4 | Stealth +3 | 25 ft | Hero 1/3 | ◆ | ◇ | ↺ | Active Conditions: - -

That's okay, Laughing Shadow fits Ebiten perfectly. ^_^

Is it PF1 or PF2?
