It’s been a while since my previous post. Apologies.
On a game system note, I went to Gencon this year and managed to score a couple early release copies of the new Player’s Handbook. I do like a lot of the changes they made.
I also played some Avatar, PF2, Savage Worlds, and some Classic Rifts (Palladium)

Nice. I will wait for the SRD next year and judge then. I am done giving them money for now...

Been playing a lot of it. I am currently working on a Viking Swashbuckler build... using Ragnar Lodthbrok (and Toki) as inspiration.

Same -- that's a nice colouration!
I was first picturing the sort of black-and-orange tortoiseshell. I had one like that a long time ago that leaned heavily on the black, so there were just bits of orange peeking through. Her name was Ember (though I can't remember if that's the name we gave her or if it's the name she came with)

I wasn't sure if you all were keeping track as we went through or were hoping for a total at the end.
I don't have time to go through everything right now, but at the end of this mini-adventure, I was planning to create a summary post with items found and plot hooks -- I can include treasure in that as well.

I've only been tracking on my char, and she has 70g. That could be spot on or wildly inaccurate lol, not sure, but it's probably close.

If you could all keep and say a little prayer for Latte. He went in for his check up and his belly size was a bit troubling for his vet. They did an ultrasound on him and he has fluid in his belly as well as a slight heart murmur.
So this could be caused by a few things. Best case scenario is that he has some type of worm or parasite and he is being treated for that beginning tonight. If not, it could be a congenital condition which might not be treatable.
Greycastle
He went to the litter box earlier this morning and even though he still has diarrhea there was a white, little oblong-looking thing in his stool. In all of the time I have had cats, I have never seen anything like that. It was separate from the poop.
Hope everything turned out to be ok.

I am thinking it is parasites since that is what the medicine is for. One of my friends is a vet tech and she said it sounds like tapeworms which can be both visible and microscopic. His diarrhea seems to be going away as well. My concern is his belly, poor little thing looks pregnant but from what I have been reading tapeworms can cause that.
I am so very worried for this little boy. I do not want to say goodbye to another kitty. He is so little and special.

Sorry to hear about Latte.
The good (?) news is that worms are easily treatable, if unpleasant.
Jacka-Lope
Little Latte has his appointment today to get a little bit of fluid out of his belly and to see if he has FIP. He cannot eat until after the procedure because they will be putting him under and he is a starving little demanding kitten. Right now he is on his favorite blanket making biscuits.
Please keep this little one and his vets in your prayers.
DM Paguroid
I just listened to the Ologies episode about cats -- apparently the "making biscuits" is from how kittens knead their mothers to get milk flowing (i.e., it's an expression of comfort and security).

they took out some of the fluid, a safe level and made sure to give good fluid. The fluid is yellow and sticky. Vet is going to get in touch with the pharmacy in NJ (Strongs?). Little Latte is on a steroid to help the inflamation and we should be beginning the pills when they arrive. The vet said he is not out of the woods but there is hope. He is eating and eating and being sweet.

Ugh. Why does this site have to be so rough on mobile. Difficult to see if you have new messages, can’t modify your profiles, and it’s super tough to move icons around on the battle maps too (though technically that’s not the Paizo site issue. )
I responded to your message from May DM.

On the plus side, I could remake Toki in the 2024 rules! ;p
In the basic rules, they only have Fighter (Champion), Cleric (Life Domain), Rogue (Thief), and Wizard (Evoker)...
Toki Sigurdson
He would get two uses of Second Wind, one recoverable after a short rest, then the two recoverable after a long rest. He could forgo healing with Second Wind to add a d10 to an ability check (good for those Athletics checks!).
He would also get the Weapon Traits, for the weapons he uses... When he becomes a Champion, he would also get Remarkable Athlete in addition to the Improved Critical...

This old married couple of Jaylen and Braith are headed out on a long vacation. Which means either we'll have plenty of free time to keep up with the game, or stuff will happen and we'll miss it. I was, with much effort sheesh, finally able to log into Paizo on my phone. For some reason my phone hates their site lol. On the very off chance it punts me off again, you might see my posts with Jaylen's. And on the very other off chance our access is limited as we're going to France, well apologies and well be back at the end of the month.

ooh! Have lots of fun -- one of my closest friends is currently visiting his aunt in the Loire valley. My partner and I are thinking of going next year, maybe to Grenoble?
Anyway, eat good food and visit castles :)

I am okay with taking a short break. I seem to have bitten off more than I can chew with a couple of other games.
EDIT: Have fun you two! I will be going to Japan in the middle of October!
DM Paguroid
We can take a break if people want, though we are quite near the end of this adventure.
DM Paguroid
Uhh... that's difficult to say, as I suppose it depends on how you approach the adventure, but likely two small fights and then the boss.
DM Paguroid
Oh weird -- things got moved around somehow.
The top slide is the current combat. You are all to the north of the battling goblinoids, and (in addition to the admittedly confusing numbered guide in the Initiative post) I've added an arrow to let you know that the ones you are fighting are to the west.
