lol very true!

I got about 5 pages done this weekend. Not too shabby, so far like 3 pages of bibliography.

F Illuskan Human | HP 10/10 | AC 17 | HD: 1d8+2 (1 avail) Skills: Insight +5, Medicine +5 | Disadv. on Stealth Saves: S 2, D 1, C 2, I 0, W 3, Ch -1 | Init 1 | PP 13 | Speed 30'

Yikes, that is a special kind of busy!

I want to be done by spring break, if not sooner.

When Eberreon first came out I played a campaign at my FLGS at the time. I played a kalashtar soul blade/telepath who would save his psion points and manifest his soul knife as the focused totality of his psionic powers.

are the kalashtar setting neutral now?

Er... I have no idea -- I didn't see anything saying they weren't, but I guess I don't have a very good feel for what belongs where.

Let me know if anyone has a problem with this or if there's a reason it doesn't make sense. I'm not particularly wild about telepathy, but it's probably not more extreme than "harengon always win initiative" lol

I dont uave a problem with it. Inthink if theybare in yhe newish Mordenkanian book they are setting Neutrel. Havent looked since I got it.

Ah, some Psylocke/Lady Mandarin craziness, eh?

Ya. One of the players used to get so bugged about my using that line. He would just shake his head.

Are we waiting for someone else to get started? When might we kick this off. I gotta admit I'm a little Leary of a Bunnyfolk, and an Eberron character in the Moonshae's... but we'll see how it works. :-)

NPCs, Handouts, and Maps

Yeah, sorry, Greycastle has yet to check in.

Also, given the concerns about the Kalashtar, Wykramer was thinking about either making some changes or coming up with a good reason for their character being in the Moonshaes, but I haven't heard back from him.

Also, admittedly, it's been busy at work, so I was letting this sit while people finalized their characters because it gave me more time too.

Regardless, I'll be sure to post Sunday evening so we can start the campaign off next week.

Sorry again for the delay.

The bunny will make sure thay the cleric is the victim of the fey. bwhaa haaa haa

I imagine that it is easy enough, especially with all the doorways to the Faewilde here...

@Jacka-Lope: Just want to check in with you about how big this character is -- Harengon can be Small or Medium. I believe you chose M on your character sheet, but wasn't sure how big that meant in terms of dimensions.

I think he would be on the smaller part of medium if that makes sense?

It's me, Istevan! :D :D

I am thinking that small might be cuter, lol.

No worries if you want to change that -- nothing's happened yet lol

lol -- yeah, I pinged him privately. He hasn't used Paizo very much and I think forgot to check the Gameplay tab.

I will be out of town through the 27th as well. Might have time to check... might not. Don't let me hold things up.

NPCs, Handouts, and Maps

No worries -- I expect things will be slowing down for at least the next week.

I'll try to post in response to anything your characters do, but I think we can safely say that not much is going to happen until Jan 2nd-ish.

Happy holidays!

Gives me time to think of a good play then.

Happy holidays all, and a good New Year's!

Today was the last day of school before break, which begins tomorrow until around the 8th. Deo Gratias!

Nice!

I did not do much Christmas week but this week I have been working on my thesis and getting ready for classes that start next Wed.

Even though I'm still pretty Covid-nervous, I attended a couple of parties for the first time in 4 years -- it was good to get out and see people! I'm off this week, so I'm in recovery mode and trying to catch up on things that I've been putting off since October (or longer...). Hoping 2024 won't be quite as busy as 2023!

I am lucky, only one in my family not to get Covid in all of this time. Knock on wood.

Me too!

I'm hoping to keep it that way :)

We haven't gotten it either, and have been exposed a couple of times. Knock on wood as well. I still keep a cloth mask shoved in my purse, though the last time I used it was in a theater to block the scent of the heavily perfumed patron behind me (!!).

My wife and I have avoided it as well, but whenever we travel, we mask up (especially since we need to fly to go anywhere!)

lol
I know that's because you live on an island, but living in western Canada also feels pretty isolating at times!

Be nice, not everyone gets their milk in plastic bags or has Tim Horton's with their famous egg salad.

I'd poke fun at the milk in plastic bags, but we wash the protective coating off our eggs and then have to refrigerate them sooooo heh.

Great now I want a glass of milk. I did just have a big steaming cup of caffeine tho.

NPCs, Handouts, and Maps

The milk in bags thing is really just in eastern Canada -- I don't think I've seen it west of Quebec (maybe in some parts of Ontario?). Milk containers in Alberta (both plastic and cardboard) are returnable for deposit, which is an interesting quirk.

After making it through the holidays with temperatures in the -5C to +5C (23-41F) range, we just had our first snow since October (4 inches), and the low on Friday is expected to hit -40.

NPCs, Handouts, and Maps

btw, Wykramer contacted me over the weekend to say that he's not able to continue -- I thought this might happen, since I know him irl (he works two jobs and already has at least one weekly D&D game). Sorry about that -- I probably should have been a bit more cautious about inviting him.

In-game, I'll say that you left him behind at the tavern when you went to the bakery.

You should not have any trouble with this adventure with only 5 characters, but let me know if you want me to recruit someone (or add an NPC).

CG human ftr 1| AC 16 (18) | hp 12/12 (1/1 HD) | Saves: S +5, D +2, C +4, I +0, W +0, Ch -1 | Insp [ ] | Second Wind used [ ] | Passive Per 12

5 is okay with me. Sorry they cannot continue.

As for milk, I wish we had glass bottles... They still do that for Japan, at least for some local milks...

5 is fine but are there skills that the person leaving had that we might be missing?

I saw the milk in plastic bags when my BFF and I went to a Wal-Mart in Niagra. The donuts at Tim Horton's were good but I am not a fan of egg salad so I do not know about that.

F Illuskan Human | HP 10/10 | AC 17 | HD: 1d8+2 (1 avail) Skills: Insight +5, Medicine +5 | Disadv. on Stealth Saves: S 2, D 1, C 2, I 0, W 3, Ch -1 | Init 1 | PP 13 | Speed 30'

I think we're good. Sad that Wykramer wasn't able to play but that's life.

One last milk related tidbit - we have one local dairy here, Hartzler, that sells in returnable glass bottles. They have great milk - cream on top baby - and the friggin best chocolate milk. And during the holiday season just passed, they also sell really good eggnog, which I use to make eggnog oatmeal (or, you know, drink straight). All in glass.

NPCs, Handouts, and Maps

Oh wow, that's really cool -- we can get milk in glass bottles at the store, but it's a lot more than we usually spend on milk!
