insight, dodge, natural, etc.
As far as I know, by RAW, bonuses of unique sources stack with each other unless otherwise specified - e.g. Mage Armor and regular armor.
Bonuses of the same type don't stack with themselves unless otherwise specified - e.g. natural armor bonuses are the same type so they don't stack. Bonuses that don't stack, you take the highest bonus from. A monk of the sacred mountain gets +1 natural armor at lvl 2. if he has X levels of Dragon Disciple/Draconic Sorc that grant higher bonuses, then he takes the highest one. Improved natural armor and the Barkskin spell are the only ways I know of to increase this bonus.
however, dodge bonuses do, as they are a fairly unique case.

No, same type of bonus don't stack ever unless they are untyped or dodge bonus. You are confunding 2 similar but not equal bonuses, namely natural armor and natural armor enhancement. They stack between them because they are different bonuses. It doesnt matter the source, if unique or not.

One exception: Circumstance bonuses do stack so long as they are from different sources.

right, sorry. I meant to say bonuses of the same type. 2 items grant: Bonus to AC, you take the higher. same with natural armor and everything but dodge pretty much.
AC bonus and AC enhancement bonuses would stack, provided they are not of the same type (excluding dodge). but you can only get the one base value, and the one enhancement value, and you take only the highest bonus of each of those categories regardless of how many sources they are pulled from.
Which is why Barkskin stacks with base natural armor because one is a bonus, and the spell is enhancement thereof.
all bonuses have to be different sources (feat, spell, item, etc.), circumstantial or not though.

Maybe I've asked this question before, but I forgot.
Say we have a Sauhagin druid. He has a "natural armor bonus" of 5, and he's wearing an amulet of natural armor which grants him an "enhancement bonus to natural armor" of an additional 2. He's at +7 AC from these things.
Now lets say he wildshapes into a medium animal, which grants him a +2 size bonus to STR and a +2 "natural armor bonus."
Would the wildshape bonus stack with his normal natural bonus (AC +9), or replace his normal natural armor bonus (AC +4), or be ignored because it's lower than his natural bonus? (AC +7)
