Volitare and Seldszar both land on their feet, making them able to act. Trober is always ready... to run away.

When do the statues take their turn?

DM Kludde |

Once I manage to get my act together ;-)
Most of the group awaits what will happen, which is about to becom equite clear.
The guardians move against the perceived intruders. One throws a spear at Vomatian, then immediately teleports after it, showing up in front of Vomatian, with somehow its spear returned to its hand. The other merely steps up to Darakwinn, and takes a stab.

Trober fires his rifle, but seems more concerned with not being in danger and misses both shots. Antethriss creates an opening for a kick, but completely botches the timing.

Combat over!
The mysterious device opens up, and reveals a strange glowing nodule
This little nodule looks very intricate, and holds some strange technology. The most likely use this has is as a very elaborate, encrypted data drive.

"We can do a final sweep of this area then head back"

DM Kludde |

Seldzar inspect the drive, and realizes that what he is holding is a level of technology not seen since the gap, and no doubt an important clue to the first ones.
A further sweep yields nothing more than some rubble from the stations, and an indication that 'security' is offline now. The return trip is uneventful, and after arrival in Absalom station, the group meets back up with Sarmak. A data drive! he exclaims, this is a great discovery. Who knows what secrets this device holds. Thank you very much for your efforts, I'm sure we'll uncover many more secrets together!
Mission and game success! Let's roll day jobs, so I can create chronicles. I'll post the conclusion afterwards.
Trober and Vomatian: if you want a chronicle and credit, I need you to enter your details in the RPG chronicles ASAP. Please also add your email address if you want to be eligible for the prize draws (also holds for Antethriss).

Nobody has a day job?

DM Kludde |

With all four candidates visited, and missions succesfully completed, the group returns to Ehu, who awaits them in the Lorespire complex.
“Come in, Starfinders! Well, what did you think?” Ehu Hadif asks, folding his arms expectantly. “Are the candidates worthy of your vote? Have their mandates caught your interest? Do their interests align with your own?”
“I know they’re an interesting batch, but then, we’re all unique in our own ways. Still, I think the Society will be in good hands with my retirement.” The First Seeker stands and walks to a sideboard where framed photos sit. Wistfully, he picks one up for a moment before setting it back down.
“I will miss this job, you know. It’s difficult at times; indeed, it’s the hardest mission I’ve ever undertaken. The past few years haven’t been easy for us, but I realized that as long as I leave the Starfinder Society better than I found it, I’ve done my job.” He turns back to face his desk. “I’m grateful for your support, Starfinders, and I wish you well. I hope you think carefully about your vote and treat it with the gravity it deserves.” Eyes twinkling, he moves to open the door. “There’s a new day coming! Best to be prepared to greet it. Until we meet again, my friends.”
As the first seeker rides off into the sunset, he leaves behind an empty office, with only a -->handful of papers on the desk<--, and a few AbadarCorp Entertainment photocards.
The chronicles are up! Let me know if everything is correct - I can still pencil in a day job if you have one.
