We're now one week away from the start of Gameday. Please add your token, perception and initiative to the slides. You may begin introducing yourselves in the gameplay threads, but nothing from the scenario can be posted until we officially start.

I've put Mrs. Crinkle at the back of the marching order, not because she needs to be there, but because she is an elderly woman who prefers to amble and chat so much that she tends to fall to the back of the group. Of course, if your character is squishy you are welcome to move her forward when you place your tokens.
I'll wait to introduce her in Gameplay until some others have arrived. She's not the "get there early" type (unless drinks are free).

As a field medic, Desmond is find being in the middle where he can tend to anyone quickly. FYI, I generally play him as being hired by the Pathfinder Society rather than strictly being a part of it. He's the guy the leadership hires to go along so Pathfinders don't die!

![]() |

I'm at an in-person convention (Dragoncon) all weekend so I won't have a chance to fill in the slides etc. until Monday but for planning purposes Razzm is a level 3 Fighter.

My apologies for the posting delay, everyone. Got a little swamped with real life. Caught up now and should be back on a regular posting schedule.

Hero point to Mrs Crinkle for desecration of a former corpse.

![]() |

Just a reminder, tomorrow I leave for a week-long trip to Ireland. I will not likely be posting at all during this trip, so please bot as necessary. I should be back to full posting rate on Oct 1

Please don't let Mrs. Maturity over there fill his spellbook up with rude jokes and limericks!

Don't worry. We won't let her anywhere near your spellbook. I'd better hang onto it until we can find out who this Mrs. Maturity person is. ;D

I know it's a little early to hand out a second hero point, but when you double crit, you get one.

@GM cmlobue: Before we leave this room, what were the results of Mrs. Crinkle's search for the creatures' source location? I asked about it again, but you may have missed that.
Thanks!

cmlobue |

I did not miss it, though I could have been more clear about it.
Mrs. Crinkle does not see an obvious door or passage. Probably a wizard did it.
No idea where the creatures came from or went.

You can see two other areas beyond what you have already visited on the first floor - one labeled "
conjuration gallery" with number of paintings, many left haphazardly on the floor; and another outdoors area called"illusion garden"which contains several statues.Nothing on the second floor is visible, nor is the tower. The name of each room appears - "necromancy study", "home office", "reading room", "teaching hall", "enchantment auditorium", "evocation atrium", "transmutation storeroom" and "scrolls storage room" - but the view of the room itself is missing.
So, I think we've covered the entire ground floor now, right? Time to head upstairs?

Sorry for the posting delay everyone. Was traveling the past several days - thought I would have time for gaming but turned out I didn't. Catching up now.

cmlobue |

You can assume most of the scrolls are from this list. Please don't spend too much time trying to feed them to any animated books.

cmlobue |

I believe I indicated that double crits were worth a hero point, so Zac gets one.

![]() |

I'm going on a camping trip this weekend, so I won't be able to post from Saturday until later on Sunday.

cmlobue |

Sorry, Bertram, missed that you were up as well.
As for Razzm, if I don't see something soon, I'll just have him defend himself. You shouldn't have any problems with this encounter.

![]() |

So sorry everyone - I've fallen behind on my games before but never this badly. It's been a perfect storm of real world stuff but still. My sincere apologies. Catching up now.

Since Desmond Crit Failed the first will save, but then he was also stunned, does 'Spend 1 turn moving to a desk' mean a full 3 actions? Or just a full round? Does his stun affect how long he needs to continue moving to a desk?

cmlobue |

"1 turn" is another way of saying "3 actions", so that plus stunned 2 means you will lose 5 actions. It's a very slow walk to your desk.

cmlobue |

Now is the time to check to make sure all your information on the >sign-in sheet< is correct and, if you want your downtime noted on your chronicle, to post it here.

![]() |

Looks like Mrs. Crinkle spent 1 gp on a writing set at the beginning of the scenario.
During her downtime, Mrs. Crinkle stops by the Dacilane Academy and teaches the kids how to make desktop-trebuches. She also teaches them how to make amazingly sticky spit balls for said trebuches.
Earn Income (engineering lore) DC 15: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (1) + 6 = 7
Failure for .02x8=.16 gp, right? Ever since the site was down, all my cheat-sheet links are broken.)
Unfortunately, the sticky spit balls are all the students take away from the exercise. The staff and administration reduce her pay so they can buy extra cleaning supplies.

Fortunately, I re-linked them all when the site went back up. Here's the direct link to the Downtime section

No reporting changes to the game. Chronicle sheets are >here<. Please let me know if there are any problems. I will keep the game open for a few days for any final roleplay or questions.
It was a pleasure playing with you all.

![]() |

Chronicle looks good. Thanks for giving Mrs. Crinkle the chance to desecrate a skull and engage in chamber pot shenanigans, cmlobue. ;D
Bertram, Mrs. Crinkle hopes your paths cross again, though I fully understand if you'd rather avoid her from now on.

Chronicle looks good - thanks for running GM!
