Warlord John Morgrave Sorbin
|
For what it is worth, Desseer told John to meet him at the obelisk near Cinder.
Oh I know but you want me to hoof it? I realized that Midnight might be able to get me there faster... I should ask again. I don't think I got a response.
Myriana
Sorry for the delay Kenyu, I'm finally getting to the point of feeling better. better.
Midnight Weaver
I didn’t even realise John was talking tbh, since I was focused on Myriana and the dungeon fight. While Midnight could spend MP on fly for John, I don’t think she would be willing to at the moment so there isn’t much she would be able to do to help him reach the Obelisk faster
GM if Kenyu is agreeable can we just hand wave the civilian evacuation so that Midnight can skip ahead to doing her stuff with Kenyu? I don’t really want to wait too much longer to start Midnight’s search for the location.

For Myriana, Midnight thinks you are screwing up the negotiation. First, you gave Kenyu a proposal that doesn’t make any sense given the destroyed town. Second, upon realising it is a disaster you loudly admit it is a disaster. Third, after handing Kenyu all the leverage by admitting it is a disaster and showing her you are not a reliable leader, you demand she help you fix the guild’s mistakes for essentially nothing. You are giving her nothing that she wants and you expect her to just agree to it. Think about it what leverage do we actually have here?
Most dangerously, you are asking for trouble by including the bit about returning the civilians after the supposed reconstruction. What if the civilians that go with Kenyu would rather stay with her due to safer living conditions and her natural charisma? Kenyu will likely not push them to come back and if you do so, you would further damage relations between the two guild. All for a bunch of civilians who aren’t important at all to the guild. Midnight doesn’t see the point.
Kenyu Evians
Kenyu is willing to follow around midnight for those terms and as I said previously, I do want to see where this goes. If the GM is willing to speed things along for the evacuation that will be swell. After all, since both Kenyu and Draken can cast dimension door, transporting the civilians via obelisk should be no issue.
Alright, killed two birds with one stone. Finally agreed in character to Midnight’s request and gave my second character something to do once she is ready.
Sorry my posts have been slow, it’s reaching June which is like a performance checkpoint for me so i have been trying to keep my team on track
Desseer Arnalc
Hmm..If we are handwaiving a set of time, I'll look to have Desseer do something that doesn't need a play by play either so we can maintain a semi solid timing between occurrences.
RARGHG
It might be helpful since RARGHG and Kislum are one day ahead of the rest of the group due to travel time to the dungeon. So maybe we can have like one downtime day. Kenyu can move her civilians in that time and Midnight can reorganise some of her spells and spell-likes

Well the outline for the plan is as follows:
Kenyu will wait for Dom to present her offer to the people of Cinder and wait for Dom to return with people who wish to follow.
She will have Koro use her at will detect alignment to identify anyone with ann evil alignment.
Those with an evil alignment Kenyu will judge herself using her sense motive skill to identify if they are redeemable and if bringing them along would be prudent. It shouldn’t take that long per person with her massive bonus
In the meantime, Dom will be asked to use his healing superpower to heal those who require immediate healing. Those who are only mildly injured can be healed by Kenyu’s followers at base who are all divine casters.
Once that is sorted, Kenyu will begin to transport the group via Draken’s at will Dimension door. She will make sure the process goes by unimpeded before going with midnight on her quest
Drake said he can move 40 people at once so the whole thing should be wrapped up within a day. I haven’t mentioned Kenyu’s followers before but she should have a good number under her employ, mostly divine casters. They can heal the remaining minor injuries in the civilians.
My second character will arrive from base to assist Myriana once I am done with her backstory since you agreed to her superpower already

Hey GM, since we are skipping forward one day could midnight spent another divination to lead herself to the entrance of volcanic caverns? The place the site is supposed to be buried under? She has one use left for the day anyway so might as well
