Azu punishes Lelzeshin harshly for slinking away. The two elven sorcerers unleash spells that skirt wide. The traitor even dodges the goblin's money toss. Azu pivots around him but can't quite find the right placement of blows. It is only when the monk strikes true that the traitor is finally silenced, slumping down next to the prize he so desired.

As Lelzeshin falls, the ground trembles. A smattering of dirt and debris trickles from the ceiling of King Webhekiz’s vaults. Quakes start to wrack the vault. Then a chunk of the ceiling collapses, partially blocking off the vault’s entrance. Cracks appear in the vault’s mirrored walls. With a thunderous crack, the walls shatter around you in measured succession, opening up into dark tunnels beyond. The ceiling finally collapses, blocking off the doors and stairway that you descended to enter the vault.

As you struggle to retain your life amongst the chaos, you realize the strange morphs from the dance fade and then disappear completely and your personal health returns to normal as strange magics course through the air, seemingly centered on the crown near you.

While we are waiting to restart, I though it was neat that Zibini's Laughter spell prevented a pretty major reaction from occuring on Azu's next critical hit.

In case you don't want to be spoiled on the encounter mechanics:
Mirror Reversal (illusion, mental, occult, teleportation) [reaction]

Trigger An attack from an attacker he can see would be a critical success against Lelzeshin; Effect Lelzeshin teleports to one of the mirrored walls, emerging adjacent to it. Meanwhile, a duplicate briefly remains, seemingly frozen in place for a second, before detonating as the critical hit connects with it. Each creature adjacent to his original location takes 6d6 slashing damage (basic Reflex DC 25), and these adjacent squares becomes difficult terrain;

Frequency Lelzeshin can use this reaction once per day.

Start of The Perennial Crown Part 2: The Thorned Monarch

The dust begins to settle, and you feel strangely renewed. Those of you with a magical slant realize your powers have unexplainedly returned in full.

On the ground, blood oozes from the corpse of the Bhopanese human man, his long aardvark snout twisted into an agonized snarl from his defeat moments earlier. In the center of the vault is a pedestal covered in greenery, upon which rests a wooden circlet. The circlet sprouts flowers and leaves that flourish, wither, and die in and endless cycle.

As the tremors end, a telepathic voice reaches out from within the circlet. “Wh-who are you? You are not of Bhopan, yet you stand before the Perennial Crown. A-and that presence. Such rage, such bloodthirst. Tell me it is not so. Tell me that Qxal has not discovered Bhopan. Tell me that they have not discovered the crown.”

"Then it has already begun. The death, destruction and treachery." the voice intones solemnly in your minds "We knew Qxal by many names: The Death that Strides Among Leaves, the Burrower Through the Barrows, and the Thorned Monarch. Whatever the name, they are a malevolent fey who was imprisoned upon this world you call Golarion long ago—an entity older than most civilizations, utterly consumed by spite. My people were able to learn little else before we were almost entirely destroyed. Qxal seeks to control everything they see and built a demiplane within which to magnify their control and magic. But when we stole this crown—the key to controlling the plane’s power—they were left with a shadow of their former abilities. Even so weakened, they were able to lay waste in retribution to those of my people who could not flee to this island fast enough, though I suspect revenge was merely a whim compared to their ongoing schemes to get the crown back.”

Another quake shakes the room and the walls ebb and threaten to fold in.

With the vault opened - my protections against Qxal are gone too. If I'm stuck here, it’s only a matter of time before Qxal finds me and uses the crown’s power to bring ruin once again. It is not safe for me to remain here, take me with you!" The crown entreats.

@Lindevaile Are you going to carry the crown or wear it?

Delving into the tunnels that remain passable, the group searches desperately for an escape route. The floor of the vaults has given way, collapsing hundreds of feet down into the Darklands.

Along the way, there are many obstacles to overcome (DC 20). For each of the three major obstacles, each of you may make a roll with a relevant skill. You must tally four successes for each obstacle or there will be consequences for the group as a whole (that may even affect subsequent obstacles). "I will try to assist as best I can... The crown whispers to Lindevaile. Placing the crown upon her head, the vibrant tendrils wrap around and secure to her skull.

Despite the crown's help, the group finds a rough path ahead through the huge pit and grasping tendrils that try to seize the Perennial Crown from the elf's head.

piercing damage to all: 4d8 + 10 ⇒ (3, 7, 1, 2) + 10 = 23 to everyone

Once the group stumbles upon the Bhopanese guards, there is too much chaos within the tunnels and you too succumb to the blood haze yourselves, blacking out and awakening with a massive headache. Worse yet, your weapons are bloodied and the guards are all dead.

damage to all: 4d8 + 10 ⇒ (2, 1, 4, 8) + 10 = 25 to everyone and everyone is stupefied.

Feel free to sort out the healing needed before moving on. Note that it takes place in separate locations so don't total it first.

Kat looks around, horrified. "Wh-what happened here?! Did we do all this?!" Noting her wounds are beginning to close, Kat focuses and heals herself (+8 hp)

How much time do we have? Kat heals 1 hp/minute

Kat goes around healing her companions, starting with the most injured first (Assurance Medicine, DC 15).

Kyra Healing: 2d8 ⇒ (8, 1) = 9
Azu Healing: 2d8 ⇒ (2, 2) = 4

Kat should be at full hp. She can also use the healing intervals to refocus and get the FP back.

You have however long you want to take to heal, but the tunnels are still shaking intermittently and may collapse completely at some point.

@Iustanus there was time to heal in between the two events. Also, both your hero points are intact.
@Azu No, we can move on. Just wanted to see if you wanted to take the time to do it slow or use spells, looks like a combination of both. In that case, the stupefied condition will resolve naturally for everyone.

After escaping the devastation of the shattered vaults, you arrive in an antechamber where massive roots have smashed through the northernmost wall, exposing a ruined sewer.

A gagging stench permeates this once-grand vault, the decorated walls and ornate tiled floor standing in stark contrast to the southwestern wall, which has been utterly obliterated by a massive entanglement of roots. The source of the vile odor is immediately apparent; an exposed sewer line on the far side of the collapsed wall that’s visibly choked with debris and filth. King Webhekiz and a contingent of his armed guards stand among the ruins, covered in blood and minor scratches, their weapons drawn. The King, hardly recognizable from the gala the night before, snarls like an caged animal.

“Beware!” frantic thoughts radiate forth from the Perennial Crown with a sense of urgency. “I sense Qxal’s twisted presence, their spite and malice like a briar patch that chokes the thought from the minds of my fellow Bhopanese.” Webhekiz bellows an inhuman roar and charges forth with deadly abandon, as if to confirm the warrior-hero’s warning.
