Orcs have this ferocity thing, he bleeding and staggered. I make orcs worth more than 135XP, they are tough.

Some half elves have traits to be sleep immune. Don't know if Remis is one of them.

In the future, since we're not on a numbered grid, it might help to either number enemies or give each a different colored border so it makes things like ranged attacks/spells/hexes clear who's being targeted.

GM did my last attack land? I just went through and color coded all of the enemies. The one I attacked was the bright blue one.

Also, the color coding should help us going forward like Saoirse suggested.

GM I had had a question about Brightberry using Call animal in an attempt to call a plant creature. If this is something that would not have worked, I would have started memorizing a different spell each morning. That could become important here.


Call animal for a plant will be situational, and can provide some intelligence on the area around it. This can be very important to not so important. A cure light wounds will always cure. I will leave it up to your judgement to decide how to balance the use of situational spells.

I also keep an inherent balance with spells, so call animal will never be better than Summon Nature's Ally 1 for example.

I agree with call animal being very situational. With us being on the road for days on end, I'm willing to keep it memorized to use once per day on the off chance of finding a plant-dog, knowing it can be replaced with a summon. If the call animal wouldn't work the way I intended at all, then I would ditch it. Of course when not road triipping, it will be replaced.

It may be more opportune to heal me 1 turn later, because I think I am out of fatigue at this point so I can bloodrage.

The orc on the witch was staggered and Jasper hit it with a bow to kill it. I will add colors to the same tokens in future.

Sigvalds plan is kind of to spread he rumor that
A) there are more orchestra guys on the caravan then just him
B) Emerald is a Demoness, and its an insult to the mercs to just offer 100 gold for her head.
C) The enemies better head back to base and get like, scrolls of dismissal and cold iron weapon, he hopes that they waste time and misallocate resrouces because of that.

It would be peak comedy if the rumor ends up correct.

Since our PCs would have been aware of the time of year while in RL I didn't catch it, are we able to include winter clothing in our inventory or will need to officially buy some from the fort if we don't already have that?

Edit: I guess this should be covered by Traveler's clothing for just general cool weather. The only listing for cold-weather gear is like arctic level protection. My question is likely not relevant.


It is early spring, so it is no problem, getting warmer every day.

Hi guys.

I tend to get hyperfocused on one or two things in my life to the detriment of everything else. It's an issue that I'm aware of, but there's not much I've been able to do to break that pattern.

I'm starting up a new career path after leaving teaching in December, and also working through some mental health stuff. I've also been fortunate enough to reconnect with a few friends from years ago. Finally, I'm starting to write a novel, which is something I've always wanted to do but never tried before.

In short, PbP isn't something I'm focused on. Running a game or playing in one just isn't something I'm committed to, and it's showing in the quality and quantity of my posts, and on how well I'm following what's even going on in my games. I'm going to drop this game. Sorry. I really enjoyed playing in it while I could.

Sigvalds Orchestra is both a pun on "ORChestra", because Orc can use anything with "Orc" in their name as a martial weapon, including "sORCeror", "ORCa-whale" and "ORChestra", and is also strongly patterned after certain notorious private military contractor.

How are we treating Elfriede's departure in character? Did she just poof from our presence and cognition, or do our PCs actually notice her disappearance?
