@GM
I can actually find nearly nothing about Malacoda, the Malebranche that Aurelius worships, background wise, so, proposal:
Malacoda
Despoiler of Horizons,
Hell's Bastard
Alignment LE
Pantheon Malebranche
Areas of Concern Conquest, Ursurpation, martial skill, Bastards, Exiles*
Domains Evil, Law, Strength, War, Trickery*, Travel*
Subdomains Devil (Evil), Devil (Law), Ferocity, Tactics, Tyranny
* Requires the Acolyte of Apocrypha trait.
Favored Weapon Bastard sword
Symbol Scorpions on a sword
Sacred Animal(s) Scorpion
Sacred Color(s) Green, silver
Hells Bastard is an interesting inversion of bastards, as his father, Lord Dispater, is known, but his mother is not. While accepted as Dispaters progeny, he has never been legitimized, and is constantly vying for recognition and glory, often taking his place in the hardest battles that hell fights.
Followers of Malacoda have a specific antipathy for followers of Ragathiel and Vice Versa. Many of his followers are bastards himself, and his teachings often lead them to prove themselfs in the service of hells hierarchy.
They are dangerous adversaries, as they are more likely to break or bend rules then many other of those aligned with hell.
Many rumors surround the question of Malacodas mother. Neither he nor Lord Dispater have ever spoken of this, with some believing that Malacoda blackmailed dispater into accepting, but not legitimizing, him with this specific dalliance.
It is known, just from comparing Malacodas strength to other Archdevil progeny, that it cannot have been a mortal, and must have been an entity on part, or perhaps slightly stronger then Dispater.
Some suspect Calistria, others Eiseth, yet anothers Gozreh, and a few Nocticula.
Aurelius, due to his own situation, believes the latter, as people are likely to see themselfs in their deities.
If this is true or not depends entirely on the GM.

Aurelius: I did find an entry on Malacoda in the Pathfinder Wiki and it looks like the entries are almost identical, so yeah go right ahead.
It sounds like all of you want to hang out at the Ash House for the rest of the night (it is about 3am at this time), pending Guillaume posting here, so I will advance things along tomorrow evening.

Tick:
Aurelius will seek to accuse all of his foes of secretly having fallen ploy to these vile vixens! Of whom he totally does not have several books worth of illustrations in his backpack, including the highly amusing tome called "The 66th unauthorized Acts of Nocticula and Iomedae", for purposes of research of course!

Hello GM,
I created the char sheet but need to adjust the background. Will do so asap.
Amala Zorex
Thanks GM, Amala made her entrance and I assumed that she knows Cimri and also was given the job to attend the rally. I hope that is ok?
Aurelius Flavius
@Amala, thanks for the auditing!
Aurelius diplo skills are actually 1 higher, because I cant count, and kn. local is not on the Omdura skill list (mistakes made during conversion from Urban bloodrager).

I do like the frequent fact that evil parties are often more polite to each other then good parties :)
Aurelius Flavius
Just need a level up for operation "Make the entry to Iomedaes temple look like Nocticulas private part" (craft graffiti) and someone to activate an appropriate "ghost sound" whenever someone walks in or out.
We have a Callistrian, should be right up Amalas alley as well.
Silent Image of a partly invisible Succubus on top of the church, which "makes herself fully invisible" if "discovered".
Amala Zorex
Is the Ash House our base of operations? Anyone claimed any rooms as theirs?
DM Eric
|
Yes Amala currently The Ash House is Cimri's (and also your) base of operations. It still stands just outside the town to the northwest. The dilapidated structure is a dangerous site most Longacre citizens avoid. Most of the rooms in here are largely empty except for rubble, a few scraps of burnt timber, and dead ivy. Feel free to pick any room ;)

Evil has no patience. Well, maybe if you're a lich playing the long game.
And thanks.

Hey folks. I’ve recently gone back to school, flight school. I’m hoping to be an airline pilot in a few years. I knew it would take a lot of commitment, but now that it’s underway I realize the commitment is going to be significantly more than I even realized. As much as I enjoy it, I’m not going to have time for gaming for a while. Maybe I can come back in a year or so when I’m done training and just trying to build up my hours. (I’m not asking you to hold a spot for me, to be clear), but for now I have to step away. It’s been fun, and I’ll miss it, but real life has to come first. I want this career, and in the short term that’s going to require some sacrifices. Hope I see y’all around some time. Best of luck, and happy gaming.
I hate that I’d just finally gotten into a HV game. But that’s life. Burn some Iomedaeans for me.

Hey Ouachitonian,
I perfectly understand why RL takes precedent here. While I am considered a nervous flier, I have always enjoyed watching YT aviation videos and have learned quite a bit about aviation, enough to know it is definitely not an easy path to take! It does require a huge commitment and I am happy you have taken that step.
Good luck with your career training and I hope you have a great piloting career! I will write Guillaume out of the adventure here in whatever way you wish here (maybe he received a vision from Moloch commanding him to head elsewhere?)
Since we still have five players currently I have no plans to recruit a replacement PC at this time.
Amala Zorex
Good luck and all the best!!

Congratulations! I've dipped my toes in aircrew training myself, so I know a tiny bit about what it takes to get there. It'll be a lot of work but I'm sure you'll love it.

Hey guys, how do we want to distribute loot? Because in an evil party of course everybody wants the most for themselves but this is of course not fun for those that post last or for those that may not care that much as it can lead to wide differences and gold over the following levels! Especially my character is totally self-centered.
So it would be great if some of the more lawful characters could try to move the discussion in the game that we need to have a fair distribution? :-)
And we need a loot sheet I think. :-)
What do you think?
Aurelius Flavius
Loot sheet would be great, and I am totally willing to be super cooperative with sharing the loot.
Prefered method:
--Everything unclaimed gets into a "sell later" box
--If something was claimed, but you also want it and post later, just discuss in discussion. If 2 people dont agree, roll a d100 higher wins.
Aurelius definitly wants a potion of healing on himself, and would prefer one potion of remove disease on someone reasonably burly (him or Amala) and one on a backliner. Leather armor is his pyjama (light armor you can sleep in), the pornographic materials are clearly made for him, the onyxes will probably be sold anyway long before any of us can cast animate dead.
Amala Zorex
I think that it is fairer if we really calculate what the item is worth and that at the end we have transparency.
I adapted the sheet another group of mine is using:
Hell's Vengeance Loot Sheet - DM ERIC
If we enter the item and who it was awarded to then the sheet automatically calculates the distribution of wealth across the party.
In the column 'Awarded to' you just have to use the drop down and then in the columns J to N the calculations are made.
The categories for 'Awarded to' currently in place:
Octavonius
Amala
Aurelius
Fellzir
Hallidan
6th player
Group support item (these are items that we buy/find jointly e.g. healing/support potions, a CLW or infernal healing wand)
To be sold (these are items that we want to sell eventually)
--
I entered the healing potions just as an example so you guys see how it looks like.
-
What do you guys think? Someone has to be so diligent and enter the items of course. :-) And I am not so diligent to be honest. ;-)
Amala Zorex
Thanks a lot DM Eric!
Would you mind including the items that we received so far and the cash? Then we as players can continue filling the sheet in the future?
Amala Zorex
Thanks GM!
hit points : 1d10 ⇒ 9
I will create the char sheet asap.
Aurelius Flavius
Leeroy Jenkins!
HP: 1d8 ⇒ 7
Second level in Omdura, giving me:
At 2nd level, an omdura can deliver divine energy by touch. She can deliver either positive energy or negative energy. A good omdura (or a neutral omdura of a good deity) must select positive energy. An evil omdura (or a neutral omdura of an evil deity) must select negative energy. An omdura who is neither good nor evil and whose deity is neither good nor evil can select either positive or negative energy. This choice is made when the omdura gains this ability and cannot be changed.
Each day the omdura can use this ability a number of times equal to half her omdura level plus her Charisma modifier. With one use of this ability, an omdura can use divine energy to restore to a target 1d6 hit points for every 2 omdura levels she has. Using this ability is a standard action, unless the omdura targets herself, in which case it is a swift action. An omdura who delivers negative energy with her touch can instead deal 1d6 points of damage to a living creature for every 2 omdura levels she has. Alternatively, an omdura can use this divine energy to affect undead creatures, dealing damage when delivering positive energy or restoring hit points when delivering negative energy.
An omdura needs only one freehand to use this ability. Using divine touch to harm a creature requires a successful melee touch attack and doesn’t provoke an attack of opportunity. Creatures do not receive a saving throw against the damage from divine touch. Divine touch is modified by any feat, spell, or effect that specifically works with the lay on hands paladin class feature. For example, the Extra Lay On Hands feat grants an omdura two additional uses of the divine touch class feature.
Which is basically bad touch, D6 negativ damage, 5 times per day.
I dont get to add an effect to it, yet.
I also pick up an extra cantrip, taking Acid splash which Omduras have for some reason (inquisitor or cleric spell list).
For my extra spell, I want to have some control and am debating between ear piercing scream and command, one targets fort the other will, both are pretty usefull. It is generally speak best if the party can target as many different saving throws with save or suck as possible.

Rolling <fearfully>
HP: 1d8 ⇒ 3
At least the rest of the "heroes" did well. Hopefully I don't get purged for my weakness.
Aurelius Flavius
Skill selection is done.
I have a fair number of skillpoints, and this is with background skills, so I did "Lore Nocticula" (Background skills list "lore Dagon" as appropriate) which is probably completely irrelevant in this campaign, other then for Aurelius one man campaign to convince everyone that the glorious reclamation is a stupid unknowing catspaw for darker forces.
I also have a kn. point in all of my kn class skills, and can ID magic stuff.
Hallidan Regg

Are we doing background skills? I missed that somewhere. Are we doing any other alternate rules I might’ve missed?
Other than that, I think I’m done leveling. For my rogue talent I chose Fast Stealth.
Aurelius Flavius
It amuses me greatly that our evil party has yet to kill any sentient being, that may change though.
Oh, please ping me if I am spotlight hogging, or you feel I am deciding too much.
Amala Zorex
Ha ha … I don’t have a problem but please say something dear group if I go on your nerves. :-/
Regarding killing: my archetype forbids unnecessary violence.
An insinuator who willfully commits selfless acts or engages in violence that doesn’t further his own ends loses all class features.
So no killing here if it isn’t necessary.
Aurelius Flavius
Aurelius is strictly in the "I get paid for doing violence, I am thus undercutting my own work if I do it for free, but I can occassionally smesh something in the face if I really feel like it, its like, treating myself to a luxury meal".
I am normally the loose canon in the party (oh god, the shenangians I am up to in a WOTR game are hilarious), its fun if its someone different! :).
Hallidan Regg
|
That is pretty hilarious, although to me it means we’re doing a good job of sticking with the adage “Chaotic Evil doesn’t mean Chaotic Stupid.” Like, yea none of our characters would have moral qualms about killing someone, probably, but it’s often a bad strategic move (i.e. creating more problems than it solves).
Aurelius Flavius
one of my funnier "Chaotic Evil not Chaotic Stupid" was alternative universe WOTR, aka "the seven Samurai Succubi". We were 7 players, one probably masochistic GM, each player got a Succubus with 3 hero level, goal, utterly wreck Mendev. It took us about 2 and a half session, at this point one player was impersonating the Andoran president elect and succesfully started Cheliax vs Andoran world war 3.
The GM got back at us, he was GM WOTR, and used the properly optimized Succubi as Nocticulas special forces. I knew something was up when he allowed me to dip into Mysterious stranger (gunslinger with CHA to damage) and have an enchanted mosin nagant.
Aurelius Flavius
Hmm, 5 Rebellion points is a lot more then 1.
But I dont know if it is much or little overall.

Hi GM, just a question: did the prisoners have any items that we were able to confiscate?
