Jean moves over and sniffs at the Zaidel and then turns to look for the child. If the child is in sight he moves towards him and calls out, "Hello, can you understand me?"

![]() |

Jean watches it and waits to see if it attacks him.

GM Wolf |

The toddler comes up to Jean and rests its head on your scales, it looks up at you with piercing blue eyes. It does not attack you.
A few undead head your way, but before they do Matthew is there bashing heads and keeping you covered.
---
Jean likely takes the toddler into his hands and holds it, bringing it back with him. Do you attempt to clean the blood from it?
The group swiftly finds Stratton and Alia. With not much else to do you set out towards the West looking for a river. Jean and Matthew eventually catch up. A few more undead appear in your path, who does what? Have fun as you take them down.
Eventually about 10 minutes later, Zaidel lifts from Alexander's arms and the glowing burst envelops him. Zaidel is ressurected.
Another 10 minutes and you find your way to the desolate river. It is a pitiful thing similar to the city. The water is low, the banks are steep and there is very little healthy vegetation in sight.

Zaidel |

Eventually about 10 minutes later, Zaidel lifts from Alexander's arms and the glowing burst envelops him. Zaidel is ressurrected.
Had to look up the resurrection spell and see how to properly RP this experience.
Zaidel the satyr lands back on his hooves, slightly discombobulated and coughs."Huh. I'I'm back."
The other members of Aeria Gloris and The Locke Family encircle the reinstated satyr with kisses, pat on the back, and hugs.

The cleric confers with the druid. "Alia. What do you think? Do you think we can get everyone across safely?"
Alia Silverleaf |

Alia takes a moment to slip down the bank and walks up to the water she steps in and stretches out a hand. "It would be better with a boat or some kind of vessel. It doesn't feel like the current is too strong. What spells and abilities do we have that could aid us in crossing besides swimming?"
After thinking a bit she offers, "If given the time I could prepare Flotsam Vessel and some other spells that would be helpful for the swim but I only have one Touch of the Sea."

Zaidel |

"We still have a few flyers", Zaidel explained, "people who can fly and carry people over."
"I think we should continue to put distant between us and the necropolis, and hope for a swallower place to cross downriver."

Angelica Delathor |

She looks at the river with dread, she couldn't even see the other side.

Matthew_Locke |

He catches up to the group and looks at the scene. He pulls out an extra length of rope and secures it around his waist and to his gear. "I will swim out and see how bad the current can be. Then we will decide how to venture forward." Unless someone objects he slowly walks forward, jumping down the bank and walks up to Alia. He takes her hand and kisses the back of it before walking forward.
Nodding to Zaidel he then says, "Down river? To the South then. Jean you are our swiftest flyer correct? Would you go see if you can find a ford. Who else can fly?"

Zaidel |

"I can, but only for 5 minutes at a time, five times a day", the cleric offered.
The satyr helps to anchor the warden as Matthew checks the river's strength.

![]() |

Jean would bring the toddler along and clean him up if there was water.
"Sure, watch the kid. I think he is something special since the other undead were after him." Jean will take off to go scout.
Does it speak?

GM Wolf |

No the toddler does not speak. It seems to be just a baby. Until it gets close to flesh and then its mouth widens and it gorges itself on the flesh.

Angelica Delathor |

She walks over to Alexander and puts a hand on his shoulder, she comforts him saying, "Rest now. We will watch for you. We will need to wait for Matthew and Jean to return either way."

![]() |

Jean returns after only a few minutes and says, "There is a broken bridge not far to the south. If we could get across the bridge it would make it hard for the dead to chase us, but I am not sure how easy it would be for everyone to get across."

Matthew_Locke |

About another minute or two pass before he swims back to the group. As he leaves the water and as he takes off the rope, he says, "The channel is swift but most of us should be able to swim. Though the distance would be challenging. A bridge, excellent! Shall we head to it then?"

GM Wolf |

The group heads South to the bridge. A few undead pop up from the surrounding buildings and are easily dispatched. As the group gets to the bridge bones shoot from the ground making cages around each of you.
