Jean puts on the wing and heads out to find the others to discuss the new mission.

I am not sure how fast I can track down others, but I will go looking.

Just an airel view? Heading towards the temple or the events? 1d8 ⇒ 4 half hours...

Jean finds the group hanging around the statue of Hera after about an hour of searching as he flies over the groups' haunts.

Jean did you identify the ring given to you, did you put it on?

The satyr snaps affirmative to the oni. "Great idea, Stratton! Alexandr, please follow me."

The caydenite leads the former russian to a quiet spot about 15 feet away. Both men sit down across from each other as Zaidel begins the Ritual of Understanding: explaining the Gods and their relation to Arcanium. Zaidel and Alexandr finish up before Jean lands. Alexandr now has a small by exquisite amulet around his neck similar to the others.

Jean:
You know it to be a ring with the following qualities upon it:
Communique Ring
Price 9,000 gp; CL 6th; Aura moderate transmutation

DESCRIPTION
Created in pairs or sets, these simple golden rings allow for short-range communication between the wearers. As long as the wearers are within 5 miles of one another, they can communicate by whispering, causing the other ring to whisper the words to the recipient. Words spoken into or recited by a communique ring can be heard by nearby creatures if the wearer speaks too loudly. A communique ring transmits sound only while worn, and a wearer can remove the ring if she needs to be silent. Only magical silence or distance will block this communication, and wearers can speak through walls and other obstructions normally. The rings pick up only sound directly spoken into them by the wearer with the intent to transmit, not ambient sounds or the voices of other creatures.

---
Ring of Sustenance
Aura faint conjuration; CL 5th; Slot ring; Price 3,750 gp; Weight —

DESCRIPTION
This ring continually provides its wearer with life-sustaining nourishment. The ring also refreshes the body and mind; its wearer needs only sleep 2 hours per day to gain the benefit of 8 hours of sleep. This allows a spellcaster that requires rest to prepare spells to do so after only 2 hours, but this does not allow a spellcaster to prepare spells more than once per day. The ring must be worn for a full week before it begins to work. If it is removed, the owner must wear it for another week to reattune it to himself.

---
Dungeon Ring
Aura moderate divination; CL 8th; Slot ring; 375 gp (prisoner’s ring); Weight —

DESCRIPTION

A jailer’s dungeon ring is worked gold, set with carnelians. The ring is magically attuned to one or more iron prisoner’s dungeon rings. When the wearer of a jailer’s ring places a prisoner’s ring on a subject, the prisoner cannot remove the ring without the use of a remove curse, limited wish, miracle, or wish spell. The wearer of the jailer’s ring can also remove a linked prisoner’s ring at any time.

The jailer is aware of any wearer of a linked prisoner’s ring like a constant status spell. Additionally, all wearers of linked prisoner’s rings count as familiar to the jailer for purposes of spells such as scrying and teleport.

CONSTRUCTION REQUIREMENTS

Feats Forge Ring; Spells scrying, status; Cost 8,000 gp (jailer’s ring), 125 gp (prisoner’s ring)

He restates making sure he has all the facts before making a decision, "So what I am hearing is we have three goals in mind. First Alexandr's quest that only lasts 14 days, and we likely need to get the shipment back before the time limit ends. We have a quest to head back to Owl Port and deal with monsters around there. Third we can head back to the Necropolis to deal with undead. From what I am hearing Alexandr's quest would take priority because it has a time limit, are there any other factors to include? Do we still have a Town Portal open from the Necropolis?"

Knowledge (religion): 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (11) + 17 = 28 GM Wolf will surely add to what Zaidel will relay, but here are the cleric's first impression.

"Right off the top of my head, we have Matthew. He originally sided with Hestia in a Olympic Cold War. Hestia lost, and Matthew was punished. Despite the fact that Matthew is now with the Cayden Cailean Familia, it is known the Greek Gods hold grunges tightly. So I've been on the watch for any of the major players in the Olympic Pantheon looking for a score to settle." Zaidel bows to the statue of Hera. "So far, only Hera has shown no acts of aggression against our boy Matt and his family. It is entirely possible she blessed Matthew's and Alia's union."
The satyr turns to Matthew with an apologetic look. "Sorry, Matt. He asked."

"As for 'femme fatales'", Zaidel paused as he turned back to the Alexandr. "From who I've dealt with, Calistria is the Queen of Femme Fatales. If she likes you, you're golden. If she doesn't, I imagine you're mostly fuçked. So far, she seems to favor Cayden and myself. Treating the elven goddess of lust with respect goes a long way."
"If you find yourself at Calistria's Bordello, ask for Ariane. She's a supple dark-skinned elf woman who loves anal. Tell her, Zaidel says hello. And but if you are looking for lethal beauty, I would say both Mia and Angelica fit that bill perfectly." Zaidel smiled and bowed graciously at the paladin and huntress.

She tells the group what she knows, "This is the Searching Wand Event. You should first try to climb up and touch a painting, then come down and touch a tree."

The Scorching Sands:
This nondescript dome holds a much bigger space within. In the far distance you can see the domed walls but around you are dunes of sand. A light above makes the room and sand visible.

As you enter fires begin to erupt randomly from the sand. 3d6 fire damage, Reflex DC 15, 5 times. For those with 30 foot speed. 4 times with 40 feet. 3 times with 50 feet movement. Etc.

Reward: Fleet of foot feat. Endure Elements vs. Fire. Or fire resistance. Can be done twice. Other suggestions are welcome!

The Scorched Sands
Zaidel watches those before him complete their trials on the literal burning sands. The caydenite takes the Tankard of the Drunken Hero off his belt and fills it with Piña colada, and drinks it down, invoking the powers of the vessel. In a more upbeat manner he offers an option, "So apparently we need more information so Jean and I will go to the Temple of Death. The rest of you could collect horses and needed equipment for the trip."

"Alright. I'll go and start getting supplies for our trip. I imagine at least one wagon and two horses for the Locke children and separate horses for each other us, except Jean", Zaidel thinks aloud. "I will likely need some money from all of you to get what we need. I'll take some assistance if offered."

He states quickly before leaving with Jean, "No wagons unless you plan to buy six horses for it, the goal is speed! Make sure to buy spare axels and wheels."

He pulls out a bag of coins and states, "For the Locke family." The leather bag has 100 gold coins and 40 platinum coins.

How is it +49?! Also you should increase the DC by 20 so you only take 5 minute increments: so after 10 minutes you collect the gear at a 15% discount.

Jean:
As you get close to the Temple of Death he waves at Jean. Once within 30 feet he asks, "So do you want me to do the talking, you have already dealt with them right? I will kick in if needed."
