He watches his beam get deflected by a lode of mica -- which miraculously survive the laser -- ore maybe it's not mica -- and fly off into the distance only to fizzle on a bit of harmless moss.

The shambling mounds move very slow and they have to charge to reach your lines, but they do so trying to face the ranged attackers.

Khalia takes down the first shambling mound in line, then does two more shots, putting three more arrows on the remaining plant. The multiple vines broken makes it lose stability and finally falls defeated over the ground.

As you approach the area covered by the vegetation, you find out a tunnel. The ceiling heights in the cave around 8 feet. The air inside looks thick with a nasty green haze.

You identify the particles in the air as fungal spores. You do not think they are deadly but they are probably sickening.
Will have to pass a Fort check every hour to avoid sickened condition

Zzvkgrogk tumbles towards the ground but some how (thankfully) manages to stay on his feet. He side-trots through Yambul’s open stance, draws his dragon pistol and fires!

He waits while others prepare, search, etc. When everyone is indeed ready, he'll stride into the tunnel.

Rūha shrugs to Isuma "We've had practice." She peers into the cave entrance with a similar expression as Yambul "Looks unpleasant. Anyone know if that's safe to breathe in or if we'll need to bring our own air?" Assuming someone can confirm it is, or if no one knows and someone needs to test it, Rūha approaches the entrance.

She inspects it for more hidden hazards as she makes her way in.

Rhoreen affixes her gas mask, and also, this time, activates the battery that it runs on. Let’s see if this thing works.

H2. Swampy Corridor
A set of six humanoid ribcages, stained red by ragged scraps of clinging meat and hanging from cords like a grisly row of unlit chandeliers, adorn the ceiling of this widened tunnel. The unmistakable odor of rotting flesh mingles with the fetid stink of the soupy swamp water covering the cave passage’s floor.

The swampy water in this cave corridor is 2 feet deep, the stone bottom slick with green slime. Close examination of the ribcages reveals that the bones are held together by artfully woven plant fiber—someone obviously put a great deal of effort to prepare this macabre ornamentation.

The ceiling climbs to a height of 20 feet in the last 15 feet of the north corridor where the passage appears to end at a wall.

You notice a ledge opening (8 feet across and 2 feet high) about 15 feet above that leads deeper into the cave complex.

Two more mi-go descend from the other ledge and join the fight.

Advice up for +3/+3 Holding her autograpnel in two hands, she uses a third hand to jab at the mi-go that attacked her and try to stun it out of the air.

Stunning fist attempt - DC23 Will of stunned 1 rd on a hit, but I doubt it with those numbers!

Zzvkgrogk's special seem to push more effectively the creature, as the force damage indeed bypasses their hide.

Rūha connects on the mi-go as it descends, but does not manage to stun the alien creature.
