That would work for me? Another one of my GMs does that, and in fact one of our entire games moved over to a Discord server!

Sorry for being a bit absent, combination of not feeling well, working like crazy, my girl getting sick, and me getting what she had! Working on getting caught up, hope everyone had a great Tgiving (if you celebrate it, that is!)
I feel that. I got sick the other day, worked through a shift with a worsening voice and made the decision to call out sick today. It SUCKS how colds are relatively harmless, but they make you FEEL like you wanna die for a few days.
Yeah, colds may not be a major threat but it takes your immune system a buttload of work to clean them out...and your body just complains the whole damn way.
The last two weeks have just really been awful for me. I cannot remember the last time I was that sick. Its been a decade or so if I had to guess! Every time I thought I was getting better, a few hours later I got worse! I rarely get "sick-sick" but when I do whatever I have makes up for lost time and that's been the case for me the last couple of weeks! Finally getting to feeling like something normal, so updates coming ahortly!
Yeah, turns out it wasn't a cold, it was COVID. I've been stuck at home for the past 5 days because of it, despite being over the worst of it. I finally go back to work properly tomorrow, masked up.
Bah. Covid's nothing but a poser flu. Feels miserable, doesn't really do that much damage. Keep the vitamin C comin' and just take care of yourself; you'll be fine.
It's only like that because I was thoroughly vaccinated prior to this. If I hadn't I'd likely have been in a hospital...or worse. My family's been lucky that we dodged it for almost two years. Lots of other families haven't been. :(
Eh, I honestly think everyone panicked at Covid but I haven't seen the evidence it's as bad as some want us to believe. Probably shouldn't get into it here because I'll likely piss some people off. All's well that ends well though; we've all survived worse plagues than covid so I'm not worried.
