Len freezes a joint in the targeting arm as Lyle burns a laser blast deep into the robot's visual sensors, causing tremendous damage. Despite the well-placed shots, the robot remains operational.
A small gem in the robot's chest glows bright blue and flashes. Portions of the robot's ruined face suddenly "regrow" back and the integrated rifle is unfrozen.

The robot seems to be taking the threat seriously at this point, and is working to avoid taking hits. The holographic display on the consoles appears once more.
A thick wet mist and foggy spray descends on rapidly on the chamber, obscuring vision within for everyone. Tori and Meat see and hear the door open and can see two humanoid shapes through the mist and gas. One is a bright green!
The room is affected by something that acts like fog cloud. The fog obscures all sight, including darkvision, beyond 5 feet. A creature within 5 feet has concealment (attacks have a 20% miss chance) against its attacker. Creatures farther away have total concealment (50% miss chance, and the attacker can’t use sight to locate the target) against their attackers.
A Moderate wind (11+ mph) disperses the fog in 4 rounds; a strong wind (21+ mph) disperses the fog in 1 round.

Tori and Meat hear a 'clink-clink-clink' as a small cylindrical object bounces into the center of the room. A moment later there is an intense bang as the concussion grenade detonates! The force of the blast causes the vapor and gasses to rush and swirl, dissipating rapidly and showing the Azlanti on the other side of the door.
Tori and Aleon are caught in the blast! 2 sonic damage and a DC 12 Reflex save or be knocked prone.
One of the occupiers is wearing a familiar cadet uniform and holds a tac-lash in one hand and an automatic piston in the other. The other individual is wearing emerald-green armor with a single red eye set into the helmet. She holds a serious military rifle in one hand and points with the other, giving the order to fire to the cadet. The cadet snaps two shots off at Meat Shield, but they go far above his head striking nothing but wall.

Another senior cadet barges into the room with his pistol in one hand and the taclash in his other. He takes a quick snap-shot at Aleon, but the bullet impacts the wall and not the android.

Another one of the senior cadets bursts into the room, firing at Tori this time. This one's aim is as awful as the first and the bullet pings against the bulkhead. The robot takes offense at the newest entrants and takes a moment to issue a stern warning to them before swinging at Meat Shield again with it's claw. This time it lands and smacks the Vesk hard.

Alright, time to redraw the battle line... Peeved at the fritzing robot's continued lecturing (or ordering, or whatever it was actually saying) Tori dashes toward Meat's position, spotting a perfect opportunity to slide between his legs and (hopefully) past the bot's guard before jumping up to stab it in the core.
Took some noggin work to figure out how to describe a trick attack; haven't had a clue how to set that up or a chance to use it all game...stab the heart!: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (17) + 6 = 23 damage: 2d4 ⇒ (1, 2) = 3 aaaand I might have been better off just shooting anyway...sigh.

One of the cadet's widens his eye when the halfling slides skillfully across the the floor and takes a chunk of metal from the robot's legs. As impressive as Tori's manuever is, the robot seems unimpressed and the cadet smirks at the woman. Before he can speak some Azlanti trashtalk, Lyle grazes him with a lucky laser blast.
One of the senior cadets simply stands there drooling, a victim of Len's magical intrusion. He shakes it off, but loses an opportunity to press the attack on the crew. Another cadet snaps his whip at Aleon with a sneer.
Aleon: X non-lethal P damage.
The woman wearing the imposing green armor snaps a shot off at Meat which misses, but causes him to flinch before moving purposely and confidently to get behind him. She lets her Azlanti military-grade assault rifle swing from a strap and holds her right hand up. A moment later, her sword materializes in her hand. "You must be the sub-humans who have been tearing my forces apart, yes? A shame what you must think of the Azlanti based on untrained children. Allow me to show you who a true Aeon Guard is." Her common is meticulous and without accent.

Oof...dice are delivering an "all is lost!" moment here.
One of the senior cadets moves cautiously forward, intent on threatening Lyle and Tori so they cannot just take shots unimpeded. He snaps the tac-lash at the human's face. Even with the cover Lyle has from the bulkhead door the lash strikes an unprotected part of his body. 7 nonlethal damage to Lyle!
Meat does some serious damage, but the robot remains operational. It swings back at the Vesk with it's barely functioning manipulator claw. Pneumatic fluid and oil spurts out of the damaged robot, providing the sort of pure luck required for Meat Shield to slip just in time to take a robot to the face. 20 B damage to Meat!

Meat grunted from the impact of the robot's blow. With blood running freely down the side of his head, he belted out "you guys might want to run!" He never fully expected to leave this place, once caught. So the escape from the cell, that was just borrowed time. He teeth ground together as he tried to find the strength to lift his shield one more time.
