Tyranius! We meet again at another PaizoCon table!
I've decided to dip my toe into PF2 for the first time since the playtest. I'd like to try out the Investigator pregen at level 5 on your table, but I'm open to other classes based on the needs of the party. I can apply this down to a level 1 just like in the other systems, yes?
Is there a link anywhere to ready-made bb-code for the pregens?
Also, "Macro Link"?

![]() |

Indeed! Great to be at a table with you again. Below is the link for the Pregens. Also the Macros link is at the top of the page just above the Campaign Info tab.

Congrats Nomadical!. Sent your information in so you should see the voucher soon.

Wow, an alchemists makes a difference in this fight. When I player through this on high tier it got brutal with all of the explosions around us. We also had no fire attacks and had someone get the curse.

![]() |

Let's hope I can be so efficient in the rest of the adventure.

We are nearing the end of the scenario and I still need a few things.
@Quinn- I need the information for which character you are to apply this chronicle to.
Player Name:
Character Name:
Character Level:
Perception Modifier:
PFS / SFS ID Number:
Faction:
Day Job Roll w/ proficiency:
@Hazaug - Go ahead and roll your Earn Income check.

Player Name: Nomadical
Character Name: Quinn
Character Level: 1
PFS / SFS ID Number: 151562-2001
Faction: Horizon Hunters
Day Job Roll w/ proficiency: Crafting, Expert: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (19) + 13 = 32
To understand how Downtime works, we roll Crafting (or Lore or Performance) and compare it to our Level-2 (= 3 today) on Table 4-2 for our skill level (Expert). The DC from the Table is 18 which on a Success would earn Quinn 5 sp. But he got a Crit Success by beating the DC by 10+, so he gets the sp in the Task Level 4 line of 8 sp. Correct?
And he doesn't do all that other Downtime Crafting or retraining, just the Earn an Income. Is that when an Alchemist would make alchemical items, for instance? Can you do both (alchemical item crafting and Crafting for Income)?

![]() |

For Alchemists to craft those they need the formulas and choose to either craft or earn extra income as you are.
If you are applying to a level 1 you don't roll the pregen's skills you roll the character's skills you are applying the credit to.
Downtime applies as to the 1st level character the chronicle is applied to.
Will keep the 19 if you know what the bonus is of your level 1. (This will likely still be a crit success with a level 1 making it an extra 1.60 GP)
If the character isn't built yet, it isn't a big deal as you can do this portion on your own now.

![]() |

Yeah, character isn't built yet, so if you want to annotate the 19 roll on the chronicle, I'll add the bonus when I build them. Thanks for the explanation.

The game has been reported and as promised here are your chronicles. Please look them over for any errors so I can correct them right away.

![]() |

Chronicle looks good. Thanks for running. It was a pleasure as always.
How does it work with the last comment in Gameplay: "Nelket passes along a wand of widening (burning hands) as a token of the clan’s favor along with a small sack of jewels."
I presume the "small sack of jewels" is simply value included in the GP gained. But what's the deal with the wand? I don't see it on the chronicle as it would be in 1e or SFS. Do we have to buy it through the AcP portal?

Alot of times it the item is not on the chronicle it will show up in the secondary chronicle if there is one (Doesn't appear to be for this one) or it simply counts as a treasure bundle towards your gold value.
