Thandar's Third Theorem
|
Thandar's Third Theorem checks in with their Academic Advisor at the Arcanamerium. They would much rather be working on their own magical research, of course, but this pays the bills. They spend several hours checking student essays to make sure there weren't any Magical Intelligences (summoned Celestials, for instance) used to write them.

Third will take an oak potion and hand it to Capt Kortos for her to use while on the row boat out to the ship (she seems to get stabbed a lot more than he does.)
I know the scenario only mentions Climbing as an option, but I presume Third can just Fly up there instead without having to make a check.

This reminds me of the scene in Doctor Who where soldiers are on balconies thinking they're safe from Daleks... only to have the Daleks float up...

Ebren, if you wanted to, you could have used your reaction to stride because of my command, Gather to Me, giving you another action!

The moose seems almost giddy as she turns her head to moo at Irina.
"Moooo? Mooo moo mooooo?"

The Moose moves to the ship and is easily able to climb aboard. Once on deck she stamps her hooves with glee.
"Moooo! Mooo moo moooo mooo!

◆ step, ◆ climb
I've played Irina in a few face to face games and had fun with a silly Russian accent. When I decided to have a second animal companion I was originally going to have a horse, figuring it would be interesting to have a mount. At the last minute before my first game with Horse I looked over the animal companions to see if there was something more tied to a far northern climate and on reading the elk saw that it could be any hooved animal with antlers and thought a moose! Yes! Much funnier than a boring old horse. While playing the game I spoke about the moose in the Russian accent and realized I had to name her Squirrel just so I could say Moose and Squirrel in a ridiculous Boris Badinov style accent. As a result we now have a moose that longs to climb like a squirrel so much that she took that as her name. Anyone too young to remember Boris Badinov from Rocky and Bullwinkle will just have to google it.

Thanks everyone for this my first run of Third in PBP. It gave me a chance to flesh out some personality for them. Thanks of course to our great GM, and to the wonderful Author of this fun scenario.

I hadn’t realized this was your first game with Third.
I think you’ve come up with an interesting character and I look forward to playing with them again sometime in the future.
