Hi guys! Posting it on all my pbps.
Our offshore team at work is very affected by the pandemic at the moment and with the fiscal year approaching to an end, our reduced capacity is terribly affecting my time. For the next several weeks it will likely impact me in such way that I simply won't be able to keep up with the forums, things normalizing only as we start approaching mid June.
For the games where I play, GMs please feel free to bot the characters. If you don't desire to bot me for so long, I completely understand, apologize for the late notice and wish you all the best of fun. If you hold me around, though, I should be back after this storm.
For the games where I host, my sincerest apologies to the players - I won't let you hanging so if you stick around until my return we will give it continuation as normal. Otherwise, please message me and once I'm back I'll recruit replacements.
To everybody, I'm sorry for the late notice and I hope we will continue playing together once I'm back!

Thank you guys for keeping things going; the last few days have been hellish. Tonight alone as an example has been spent keeping our neighbor safe from a violent roommate who ripped out the air conditioning unit and was wanting to hit her with it (just as an example of my daily lifes insanity). I've got time set aside tomorrow to post; apologies for life getting in the way.
That is a damned good reason to not be posting for a bit.

Hey sorry for my recent inactivity, I've been going thru a rough patch of personal and legal difficulty. Been a tough year.
Trust me, I know the pain. I'm posting when I can, so it looks like we'll be getting a nice slow burn as long as ya'll will tolerate it or until life mellows the hell out.

Okay, so to say that the GM's life as of late has been a whirlwind disaster will be an understatement. RL problems makes it unlikely that he will be able to continue to play GM for the adventure. We have a couple of options here. If everyone wants to continue as a group, we can try and find someone to replace him. If some people want to drop the campaign, we can pool the remaining members to the other RP he was running... depending on what the other people think. I'll leave it here to see what people want to do. Note that the other campaign is already advertising for a new GM, so we'll need to make a decision on what to do soon.
Ok, I understand about how RL issues can affect everyone.

So I talked to the GM the other group managed to snag, and he said he'll willing to add up to four of us in a single RP (they have four of their own continuing the journey. The thing is, we will start from scratch and we'd have to go for a 20 point buy +1d4 Variance. What do you guys think?

Okay, so the variance is added to the total point buy.
Ah, so 20 points, then up to 4 additional points, giving a buy from 21 to 24 points.
Meh. The 20+1d4 points is a little weird. Leads to me wondering what other variants he may intend to employ.

Not sure. I would need to find a game or two that S/he has done. :)
Quick scan of the profile and linked games says that DM_DM keeps a light load (good sign), but they all seem to have ended too quickly for completion.
Also, DM_DM begged out pretty quickly as soon as it looked like anyone else would cover.
So not really a good choice.
Good thing we got adopted by another gm that also took in the other crew.
