Mia:

They are muttering in what you can only assume to be the Goblin language.
They still don't realize you're there.

Female Changeling Magus (Bladebound/Hexcrafter) 1 HP: -2/12, NL:0 | AC: 17/12/15 | R: +2, F: +2, W: +2 (+2 v. Death Effects) | Perc: +0 (Darkvision 60ft.), Init: +2 | Arrows: 18 | Vulnerabilities: Cold Iron (+1 to damage rolls)

Just asking because I've been burned by assuming things before, but are goblins treated as people or monsters? That's going to affect Mia's actions.

Not sure what distinction you're looking for between people and monsters. Intelligence? Willingness to parlay?

Female Changeling Magus (Bladebound/Hexcrafter) 1 HP: -2/12, NL:0 | AC: 17/12/15 | R: +2, F: +2, W: +2 (+2 v. Death Effects) | Perc: +0 (Darkvision 60ft.), Init: +2 | Arrows: 18 | Vulnerabilities: Cold Iron (+1 to damage rolls)

Sorry, I'm probably overthinking this. I'm asking if goblins are something you talk to or stab first. I've assumed the latter based on what I knew about the setting in a game before and got chastised for it. I know in most settings it's the latter, but there's some where that doesn't hold true.

Ah, I see. It's your choice really. 'Monsters' , whether they're thinking humanoids or beings running on instinct/complusion/command , can be handled however you want. Kill'em all, chat them up, or avoid...or something else entirely...all are valid ways of dealing with the obstacle they present. Weird, I'd never chastise a player for a valid assumption....I'd just have them deal with it in game :) For example, if your standard was to attack all goblins on sight, might cause some problems if you slay the very intelligent goblin leader seeking peace. But that's an in-game consequence, not a meta adjustment. :)

Female Changeling Magus (Bladebound/Hexcrafter) 1 HP: -2/12, NL:0 | AC: 17/12/15 | R: +2, F: +2, W: +2 (+2 v. Death Effects) | Perc: +0 (Darkvision 60ft.), Init: +2 | Arrows: 18 | Vulnerabilities: Cold Iron (+1 to damage rolls)

Funnily enough, it was a player that was getting on to me about it. Your advice is well taken, but I'm guessing these guys are up to no good.

Upstairs:

Stealth: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (3) + 7 = 10 I'm assuming that doesn't cut it.
Mia tries to sneak up behind the goblins with her longsword out, but she misses the loose floorboard that squeaks as she puts weight on it.

"Um, h-hello! I was just trying to see if you were up to no good or not,"[smaller] Mia says as she lowers her sword to a less threatening position. [smaller]"S-s-sorry, the sword was j-just a precaution."

Bard/1 AC16/18 (T12 FF14 CMD15) HP14/[14] Init +4, SPD:30 Perform 2/[4] Fort +2 (+2 trait bonus vs. poison or drugs (+4 to avoid effects of alcohol), Ref +4, Will +1, Perc +5 SM -1 Action Pts: 5

Lol, these are good points

Upstairs:

Both goblins turn at the squeak of the old floor, eyes widening as they see Mia looming nearby , sword bared.

If possible, their eyes widen even more as she tries to talk with them , as they respond with high-pitched shouts, "Овде су! Велики су овде!"

The immediately take up an aggressive stance, their own weapons coming to bear!

Cellar:

Whatever the noise from up the stairs was, it is immediately overwhelmed by high-pitched yells from above.

Goblin:

"They're here! The Big ones are here!

Mac, Harran, Borden, Mia....your Round 1 actions please!

Female Changeling Magus (Bladebound/Hexcrafter) 1 HP: -2/12, NL:0 | AC: 17/12/15 | R: +2, F: +2, W: +2 (+2 v. Death Effects) | Perc: +0 (Darkvision 60ft.), Init: +2 | Arrows: 18 | Vulnerabilities: Cold Iron (+1 to damage rolls)

"Drat, so much for talking," Mia mutters before readying her shield and wading in. Unused to fighting such small foes, she adopts a cautious stance and waits for a moment to dart in for a strike.

Attack (Longsword) v. Southern Gobbo: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (13) + 4 = 17
Damage: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4

Bard/1 AC16/18 (T12 FF14 CMD15) HP14/[14] Init +4, SPD:30 Perform 2/[4] Fort +2 (+2 trait bonus vs. poison or drugs (+4 to avoid effects of alcohol), Ref +4, Will +1, Perc +5 SM -1 Action Pts: 5

Well... that tears it, he says with a shrug as he hears chaos break out above him.

He rolls his shoulders then heads up from the cellar at a jog.

Does Borden take the stairs back outside, or up the stairs in the cellar?

Grand Lodge

He uses the outside stairs

M Half-Elf Shaman 1 (Life Spirit) HP 9/9**. AC 18, FF 16, T 12. Init +2. Saves: F +4, R+2, W+5, +2 vs ench. Att: +2 (+4 on movement AoO) vs ac, 1d8+3 P. Perc. +9. Immune: Sleep. **Conditions: 2 con damage.

Stationed at the ground level and hearing the fight break out above, Harran also starts running towards where Mia was, his spear drawn!

Male Halfling Rogue 1 (HP 8/8 AC:16 T:14 F:23 Saves F:+1 R:+6 W:+3 CMB:-1 CMD:12 Init:+3 Perc: +8 Disable Device +10)

Mac draws his rapier and moves to just behind Mia.

Round 1

Mia surprises one of the goblins with the speed of her strike, hitting and drawing blood! The goblin screeches in pain and outrage, coming at Mia , spitting and cursing . however, either it's so angry or affected by Mia's blow, the wounded goblin's attack was completely ineffective. His comrade however, came close to evading Mia's guard. She was able to block it's own sword thrust at the last moment!

Gms Screen:

1d20 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6
1d20 + 2 ⇒ (17) + 2 = 19

Dragomir:

Harran and Borden run off towards the sound of combat up above, but you again hear some noise from beyond the door at the top of the interior stairs.

Dragomir, your 1st round action please! Then the others can post their 2nd round actions!
Moved both Harran and borden double moves...

Female Changeling Magus (Bladebound/Hexcrafter) 1 HP: -2/12, NL:0 | AC: 17/12/15 | R: +2, F: +2, W: +2 (+2 v. Death Effects) | Perc: +0 (Darkvision 60ft.), Init: +2 | Arrows: 18 | Vulnerabilities: Cold Iron (+1 to damage rolls)

Mia's quick parry turns the goblin's blade, but it's still two against one. She pushes the second goblin back to give her room to strike at the first one again, but the nimble gremlin is too quick this time and her blade swings well above its ducking head. She steps back to avoid being outflanked by the goblins.

"I need to get more practice in," she says almost conversationally to herself.

Attack (Longsword) v. Goblin 1 (The one she hit): 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9

Male Human (varisian)|HP: 12/12|AC: 18 (11 Tch, 17 Fl)|CMB: +3, CMD: 14|F +4, R +1, W +5| Init: +1|Smite Evil 1/1x/day Paladin|Speed 20ft (30ft)|Perc +1, SM +5, Diplo +7, Heal +5, Kn. (Religion) +5|Action Pts. 6/6

My apologies.
Dragomir follows close behind Borden up the stairs.

Male Halfling Rogue 1 (HP 8/8 AC:16 T:14 F:23 Saves F:+1 R:+6 W:+3 CMB:-1 CMD:12 Init:+3 Perc: +8 Disable Device +10)

Mac will step up to the wounded goblin and attack!

Attack: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6
Damage: 1d4 ⇒ 2

Bard/1 AC16/18 (T12 FF14 CMD15) HP14/[14] Init +4, SPD:30 Perform 2/[4] Fort +2 (+2 trait bonus vs. poison or drugs (+4 to avoid effects of alcohol), Ref +4, Will +1, Perc +5 SM -1 Action Pts: 5

Need... to... jog more often, he huffs while hustling.

Round 2

Please, preface your posts with your current round.

Both Mia and Mac prove inept in their attempt to subdue the lone goblin in the room, and despite his danger, he can't help but mock them for it, "Бориш се као црв!" it shouts before lunging at Mia...proving that ineptness is contagious, his blade finding nothing but air!

Goblin:

"You fight like a worm!"

Gms screen:

1d20 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4

Borden, I'm going to assume you double moved, moved your token for you. Should I do the same, Harran? Dragomir, your 2nd round action, please. I predict it involves running :)

M Half-Elf Shaman 1 (Life Spirit) HP 9/9**. AC 18, FF 16, T 12. Init +2. Saves: F +4, R+2, W+5, +2 vs ench. Att: +2 (+4 on movement AoO) vs ac, 1d8+3 P. Perc. +9. Immune: Sleep. **Conditions: 2 con damage.

I'm not sure where I am, Spaz. If Harran is not in melee range or able to get there, and he isn't injured, he keeps trying to get to Mia.

I moved you onto out of the cellar map onto the ground floor map...if you double move you'd be just inside the building.

Male Human (varisian)|HP: 12/12|AC: 18 (11 Tch, 17 Fl)|CMB: +3, CMD: 14|F +4, R +1, W +5| Init: +1|Smite Evil 1/1x/day Paladin|Speed 20ft (30ft)|Perc +1, SM +5, Diplo +7, Heal +5, Kn. (Religion) +5|Action Pts. 6/6

The paladin will continue to run toward the sound of battle.

Female Changeling Magus (Bladebound/Hexcrafter) 1 HP: -2/12, NL:0 | AC: 17/12/15 | R: +2, F: +2, W: +2 (+2 v. Death Effects) | Perc: +0 (Darkvision 60ft.), Init: +2 | Arrows: 18 | Vulnerabilities: Cold Iron (+1 to damage rolls)

ROUND 2

ACTIONS:
- Bonus: None
- Move: None
- Standard: Attack the last Goblin.

Mia huffs as she hears the goblin before dancing out of the way of his strike and countering with one of her own.

Attack(Longsword) v. Goblin: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (16) + 4 = 20
Damage: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5

"Забавно, исходящее от кого-то, чья мать была гномом."

Goblin:

"Funny coming from someone whose mother was a gnome."
