If you guys want, I’m perfectly fine with running a standard procedure on each room. Just tell me what it is.
That way you wouldn’t need to post just to get a Detect Magic in every room as an example. Usually such procedures are used for checking for traps or something like that, but if there is something you want to do on each room after it is cleared that is fine too.
Something like this can help keep the PbP moving.

I have exactly zero problems with that. ;)

Ha ha.
Thanks.
So standard procedures:
- detect magic and looking around with perception for traps etc.
- clockwise analysis of rooms

Hi all, this is a heads-up that I'm in a wedding tomorrow, and will be leaving work soon to get ready for the rehearsal/dinner. Given that I'm never good at posting on weekends, that means I probably won't post again until Monday. If I'm holding things up, feel free to bot me.

Gina is repeating that friendly greeting in the rooms as she enters and leaves, she likes it and it summoned a spirit that one time.

Hi all, sorry for my disappearance. My mother has had a health emergency and things are not good; she’s now in Hospice care. I’m going to do my best to be as present as possible to finish this scenario—goodness knows I’ll relish the distraction at times—but there will likely be more unexpected absences along the way. By the time we finish, I’ll have a better understanding of whether it makes sense to keep playing or to take a break for a bit. Please don’t hesitate to bot me, and thanks for the understanding. I’ll start catching up in Gameplay tomorrow.

Much as I like the game, I’m reminded how infrequently I check the forums today.

Probably should have posted here first, but it seemed like more than one of you were curious about what you missed with the haunt.
Is everyone OK with the way I did it, having you complete the encounter and then I tell you what would have happened with the haunt?
If you have an idea for a better way to handle it, I would be interested.
Also, I put you in an appropriate marching order crowded up around the door to the exit. Adjust as you see fit before moving back into the entrance.

That was perfect!! Enjoyed that a lot!

Sorry, there was only so much room to fit people in that hall. Everyone can hear that something happened that sounds like combat. Most can see a caged Awkin.
Just to be clear, that wasn't a complaint! It's just the reality of the map, and the positioning of Awkin and the wolf guardian. Truddig has no opportunity to move up until there's more space, and it looks like it's going to be really hard for anyone else to make space too!

GM Bret |

I wasn’t taking it as a complaint so much as a comment on the crowded space.
Hopefully you can get it less crowded soon. Looking at the map, I think it is about 3-4 rounds to run around to the other side assuming 30’ move and double moving each turn. Too many turns to take advantage of run for most of the route.

She starts lecturing about the Bone Guardians identified earlier.Naturalist: +1 insight (stacks) bonus to attacks, AC, and saves vs the big creature.
I am probably forgetting something, but where did you identify this creature?
You are correct, the Acrobatics check was not enough to move through the clay wolf.

You completed both the primary and secondary success conditions and earned full rewards.
If the PCs achieved at least five successes in the sepulcher, they each receive 1 Prestige Point.
If the PCs received at least five “yes” votes during the council meeting, they each receive 1 additional Prestige Point. The PCs also earn the Careful Archeologist boon on their Chronicle sheets.
I will have to look at how many more people might have day jobs, but plan to work on chronicles later today.

Gina loves this stuff, very memorable.
