I will be camping from the 2nd-6th. My posting will be slower so if you need to bot Zahra, please do. She will have lots to tell the others about her near-death experience once it's just the 4 of them in their quarters. Although I assume that E'gama and Cyn will be housed with us now but they should get a moment to themselves.

Loose ends?
Is there a game underneath the game? The strange phrase in the trap challenge ("When dragon takes ??? form, ??? takes ??? weakness"). The challengers ing the arena (the moon writings, listening to the whispers, Casha's bounty. Was something missed in the first challenge?
What about the woman and the ring? Is there cheating going on? Tymythy suggested investigating past competitors.

I believe Casha was the women in the red dress who initially took us all. She wasn’t happy we escaped and probably is offering a reward should we be returned

Not the woman in the red dress but the wagon/cadge driver. Proper spelling is Casche Anhidar. The woman in the red dress (who lived in alKubiri in a house with two heron sculpturees by the front door - the house Dounia broke into in her earliest posts) handed you over to Casche.

Dislike it - you should naturally write down some sort of personality / code of ethics for your character, but I find that's something that gets defined as you play the character, during the first few sessions (or in case of a PbEM... first few weeks?).
I like PF 2Es edicts and anathemas better. Though still not perfect.

I think everyone possesses aspects of each alignment in their character and based on the situation or direness of the moment can then exhibit the different alignments. Hard to be pigeon-holed by one of many. That being said, there will probably be a dominant one that the character leans towards.

I think I want it a bit like how it used to be done in the old Star Wars RPG. There are those who are 'Force Sensitive' and those not.
Or in the case of Pathfinder, there are aligned people and unaligned people.
Aligned people are people who've chosen a side and need to follow a path. People who have decided Good and Evil exists and are motivated by their relationship to that. Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader.
Unaligned people are the worldly, practical people who try to do the best they can everyday under the circumstances. Han Solo.
My issue is I want to respond to the mechanical needs of the game. Do 'protection from evil' spells no longer exist? Do they change into something more like 'protection from malice' spells? Do they stay the same and only work against people who are 'aligned' and 'evil'. How do I respond to the mechanics of the game?
Do people who consider themselves 'unaligned' not receive certain bonuses given to 'aligned' people? A sword that works in the hands of a 'lawful' user wouldn't work for them.
While doing write-up for races, instead of giving races alignments I tried to associate 'values' that are most typical to the race. The race has a character a personality that can be played to whatever degree the player wants. Not all orcs are evil - this is very important.

Well... you can get examples for edicts and anathema from deities's entries - for example, Iomedea's entry lists:
Edicts: be temperate, fight for justice and honor, hold valor in your heart
Anathema: abandon a companion in need, dishonor yourself, refuse a challenge from an equal

The Doors left are the mirror door and the riddle door, is that correct? There’s also the Eschelon Door but I think it makes most sense to do that last because that way we can collect more key pieces.
I would lean towards doing the mirror door next because I don’t want it to get even harder but Zahra is happy to do whatever everyone else thinks is best.

Zahra doesn't necessarily think that Kamzar is an actual dragon in human form but she definitely knows he's super powerful and that his power seems to be associated somehow with a red dragon. She could definitely be wrong because she isn't good at thinking things through herself.
I'm also hoping that all the dragon info is from her gather info roll and not because we'll be up against a dragon. As players we know about dragons but Zahra definitely doesn't know a lot about dragons.
