one other piece of business,
does everyone feel like they did a good job of updating things like spell slots, rounds per day of abilities, etc during and after combat?
I'm not crazy about tracking things like ammo and encumbrance (tedious), but spells per day and whether you have rested or not are definitely things I will try to remind everyone about.

Good call on the healing thing! Though if Samen is going to be involved in another combat today, he's probably not going to make it anyway. I'll apply the 14 points of regeneration I'm capable of.

Abnaki v'Cardi |

Updated a resources tab on my status bar! Abnaki was actually uninjured during that last fight, so if we get in another fight Samen, I can stand in front for a little bit. I've got no healing potential though, sorry about that.

One friendly reminder since have new players --
The CAMPAIGN TAB has quite a bit of info, which can be fun to peruse, but if you are looking for something in particular remember you can always ask me and I can find it quickly. (and if there is nothing written, then I will tell you what the answer is, and I will write it down)
The Campaign Diary is only updated to page 6, but I'm hoping to catch up on that over the weekend. I'm also going to mark in the Campaign Diary that much of the party joined much later than page 1, and overall the summary until page 10 is something like:
"Captain's Death solved; made tentative ally with fire snake; gathering allies against Moon"

Phon Vos |

I'm letting the scene sit to give Phon Vos a chance to reply - I believe the weekends are usually a time of no-posting for them.
I'm back thank you for waiting on me.
Also speaking of languages, I do have a spare one from Cosmopolitan, not sure what to take with it honestly.

Hubristic Efreeti |

Gabriel, I found it on the link, so you are good.
One thing you can UPDATE! however: I think having Swim and Climb as separate skills is a punishment to a physical character like a fighter, so informally let's make that ALTHLETICS. Instead of 3 ranks in Climb and 3 ranks in Swim, let's just say you have 6 TOTAL tanks in CLIMB and use your CLIMB modifier anytime I ask for athletics of any kind, ok?

Cool with me. I give 5e a lot of crap for some decisions but one thing it did right was loading a bunch of skills just into Athletics and a few other skills

Does this apply for me as well? I only have a few ranks but I'm not blessed with Skill ranks in general.

Samen, to answer your question, yes, you can have Fey added to your Infuse list.
For new players, since Samen is dedicated to pursuing knowledge related to how the elementals (and similar forces) alter elens (and languages and spells and magic, etc), he has researched a 3rd level spell that allows him to take on a handful of abilities that act as if he were a member of a "moon" race or a "fey" race (just like ifrits are a "fire" race and undines are the "water" race)
For instance, I'm now adding this "Fey" aspect as one of his choices when he casts "Infuse Self"
--- +2 AC (similar to bark skin in effect)
(no energy resistance on this template)
--- +2 wisdom
---- Speak the Fey language "Creak" (I use Polish in google translate)
----"Berries in the Blood" eat any kind of berry as a free action to activate the healing that is similar to "Fire in the Blood" etc
---Finally, these tree-like qualities (stiff armor and ponderous wisdom) come at the cost of being SLOW (20 ft / rd base speed)

Hubristic Efreeti |

On a different note -- Abnaki, could you put the final rulings on your abilities (like the tremor stays in one place after you activate it, whereas the bonuses to your allies is always centered around you). You should be able to find them earlier in the Discussion tab. I like having those sort of small rulings directly in the character sheets or else it's tough to find them. Thank you!

Also, since I'm in a tinkering mood, I'll be looking at the Shadowdancer next, Gabriel. I love that you are all picking flavorful options (Shadowdancer, Disenchanter, Elemental Warrior, Stonesinger) and I want to make sure that these classes are both flavorful AND fun to play.
For instance, I know I'll have to make some changes on the redundant Evasion and Darkvision you'll be getting for your 2nd level of Shadowdancer...I'll keep you posyted.

Gabriel Izalith |

My method of play is a little weird, i like to choose options that are different but also min max them to be as effective as i can without ruining the theme i'm going for.
One character i had considered for instance was a Wishcrafter Ifrit. because i like the idea of an Ifrit granting wishes and making other players have to say "I wish"

Samen Vloe Firenze |

It's none of my business, but how about:
Evasion -> Shadow Jump (20 ft), with the extra limitation that it can only be used as a reaction to exit the area of effect of something that triggered the need for a reflex save.
Darkvision -> Blindsight (10 ft), only works in darkness. You could re-skin it as being able to extend your sense of touch into the darkness rather than the usual echo-location kind of thing.

This seems like as good a time as any to use Loremaster, (unless the DM might want to recommend I save it for later in this process?) so I'll take 20 for a total of 27, 30 if I can bum a tears to wine and a guidance off of Phon when we meet back up.

Hubristic Efreeti |

Wonderful! You recall an old story (not the one you will tell tomorrow, but you hopefully a tale to guide you there!) of a brave petitioner of the Witch, who felt the pains of thirst, hunger, and poison before approaching the female aspect of Forest.
the way to your nightly vision is simple, if unpleasant -- eat no dinner; drink no water ; and apply a painful (but nonlethal) poison/sting to yourself before sleeping. Being an elen of many skills, Osna happens to have a handful of such items on his person if you wish to go through with this.

Hubristic Efreeti |

This is actually a good example of when I would use spoilers, just because it will be a fair amount of posting that no one else will be a part of.
So:
1) We can start running the scene now, even though you are going to start the ritual right before you go to sleep
2) I'm still going to be running the present scene with everyone else (including you) but I don't think that will impact the ritual at all
3) We'll both use spoilers for the ritual and whatever results you may get
4) I'll put the first post in Gameplay now.

I have been indeed, although the first spoiler tag was a Dream Quest for Uknown Kadath reference instead. One of my most prized possessions is my complete run of the Sandman!

Hubristic Efreeti |

Samen, I know it seems like I ignored your suggestion, I just got caught up in other things.
The 20 ft Shadow Jump is not only cool, it makes sense as a "better" evasion, and it's kind of a preview of the 4th level ability. It works really well.
I'm leaving my own ideas here so I don't keep forgetting them....
Evasion becomes-----> Shadow Jump (20 ft).
1) This can only be used in reaction to a reflex save (that would trigger Evasion).
2) If you use this ability but do NOT make your ref save, you only take half damage (so this will also function like Improved Evasion)
3) The "dimension door" effect is ONLY line-of-sight. (you can't disappear behind a closed door using this)
3) If there are no dim areas to jump to within the 20ft limitation, then you cannot jump and ONLY the normal "Evasion" ability will be used.
(not a final version)

Abnaki v'Cardi |

So, out of curiosity, does this entity feel any interest towards Abnaki due to his own geode-like nature? (I took the granite skin, crystal body alternate racial traits, and that was the only way I could think to make that make sense)

Abnaki v'Cardi |

GM, I've been working on something a little bit for the telling of Abnaki's newest story, how many rounds do you think it would take to tell properly? It was quite short in dream, but I'd like to do it justice.
