Busy week? I haven't seen any posts since Friday.

I had taken 21 damage, down to 15, but then you revised it to 7 damage, so I went back up to 29. I might've missed something, but I believe that is correct.

How is everyone's availability looking through the holidays? If this is a busy time, just let me know. I'd rather take a brief hiatus and then dive deep into Uluru when everyone feels ready.

I should be available most of the time (we're not travelling anywhere), but the social calendar is fairly full. I should be able to squeeze a normal rate of posting in.

I shouldn't have any issues posting. Also don't have much planned.

Any questions on what to do right now? I think without access to an earth elemental, you'll need to scale or fly up Uluru to get into the library (and see what exactly is being constructed up there)

I moved cross country about a month ago, and am hosting Thanksgiving for my parents and friends from college, so I will be, and have been a little bit busy trying to get my ducks in a row for everything, including but not limited to buying a duck to roast. That being said, I'll do what I can to still be present!

Brief hiatus until after Thanksgiving. I could use the break to focus on cleaning our house (our kiddos just got separate rooms, so lots of moving possessions around)

Still here, ready to ascend... however we manage that feat.

I am here, but I'm not sure how much I'm going to be able to participate. The orthopedist cleared me to go back to work on Monday, but ten hours of consciousness in a row is more than I've been able to manage thus far. I may be a zombie by the end of the day.

As far as ascending, Samen could use his boots to climb, and strike in some pitons along the way for anyone else.

We can certainly ease back into it - just let me know this week Samen if you are not feeling up to posting, and I will bot for the week. No pressure at all. Truly hope you feel better soon.

We're heading into a new area where danger abounds! Being that there is only 3 of us, I'd prefer to have all of us ready to go before we continue.

1) When would be a good time to take a holiday hiatus?

2) Will everyone be good to post after the break?

Starting online courses again in January, but I am actually free starting whenever. Chanukah is almost over, and I'm not going anywhere for New Years, so my holiday season is basically over.

I'll be around. Nothing particularly engaging going on.

I'm taking some vacation time, so I'm done with work for the year, and my shoulder is feeling a lot better. I should be able to start back up basically whenever.

Thanks for being patient with me while I recovered. I wish I got all my hit points back with a good night's rest IRL.

Having worked with these being before, do we know if they can see invisible things?

And we never got around to healing... too late now I suppose.

They can't see invisible things directly, but they do have a good sense of taste/smell in the air.

I'll plan on updating over the weekend. Get your healing figured out and we'll be on our way!

I guess if a next level ever happens I'll have to pick up wholeness of body and find a Ki mat. I didn't realize we had minimal healing.

Abnaki, if you have no qualms about consuming the essence of the little Observer helpers that are crawling about the place, that would be a way of healing the party in your current location. Just take 10 on some diplomacy checks.

We'll continue down the ramps and see what level 1 has to offer us when we're all feeling ready to do so.

That works for me, I think Abnaki is the only one with some minor healing unless he's fine with sacrificing the little observers. Gabe wouldn't care. He has no particular interest or care-about in keeping them around. I've adjusted for only a rest worth of healing.

Yeah... I've got nothing, so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. Guess I'll just take my 9 hp and call it a day.

Once we hear back from Abnaki, we'll see if he's willing to share the bounty of mini-observers with you.

I'm ok with this being slower around the holidays. We'll get back into the swing soon.

Sorry! I got pretty violently ill there. I'll spare you the lurid details, but food poisoning got their claws into me. I'm alright with losing the mini observers, but before we do that, let me break out the healing stick. Here's 10 charges.

CLW: 10d8 + 10 ⇒ (5, 8, 3, 7, 1, 4, 6, 3, 3, 2) + 10 = 52

I'll heal myself up to full first, then drop the rest into Gabriel. So that leaves 11 HP to him. I'll also turn the remainder of my slots into healing before the end of the day.

Lesser Cure: 6d6 + 30 ⇒ (3, 1, 3, 4, 6, 3) + 30 = 50

That should get everyone back up to full, and only uses all my first level spells for the night. Which will be refilled.

To fit in the one round time frame... pack is on the ground as we were sitting and talking. I'll be next to it already so I can "move" - standard to take one out and drink. Others will possibly be within 5 feet given the sitting and talking. They can 5ft step if necessary, then do the same "move" - standard to retrieve and drink.

I'm cool with that.

As I'm editing the current battlemap, it was the GEM FIELDS as our last combat big enough to warrant a grid. It always surprises me how much time has passed, everytime I dust off the map.

I uh, hesitate to ask, but is this a level up moment? It feels pretty impactful. In the interest of full disclosure, I will warn that I get a very obnoxious new trick at 10th level; rds/lvl dominate person that can target fort instead of will. Also some other stuff that's less relevant. So I get wanting to put that off for as long as possible. Our last level appears to have been in March though... of 2022!

I got a few questions, I'm so sorry...

I get a new versatile performance this level! RAW, you don't get to retrain skills that overlap with the versatile performance. But if I took act or dance, would you allow me to move some skill ranks around?

Yep, I don't mind that at all. Abnaki is no stranger to shifting around the contents of his mind. It would be fun to see the consequences/changes in RP.

Ky La has been messing around at my various tables for almost 8 years! It's tough to let go of a long-term villain, but that's the whole point of stories, is for things to change. Bravo on a solid victory everyone!

I haven't looked at what lvl 10 gets me recently, but it does give me 5th lvl spell slots, which means I can make a Dazing Pain Strike, which will afflict targets with a fort targeting DoT that will daze them for two rounds every round for a minute.

So you're not the only one with an obnoxious new trick. ;)

You guys are almost top-tier in my mind in terms of shutting down mobs AND taking down bosses. Just means that eventually taking on Moon in his fortress of Light will have to be a worthy challenge :)
