Fortitude vs DC 28: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (8) + 15 = 23
Urdda grits her teeth, exhales deeply, and punches again at the little troublemaker. “A lot,” she answers bluntly.

If Paga falls unconscious before the end of Urdda’s turn, she’ll change those last two actions to Stabilize Paga (Assurance should make it a success vs DC 15 unless something funny’s going on.

Scratch moves while he reloads for a clear shot, launches and then stands still for once while he reloads. "You just tell me when I should stop shootin' Urdda. I'm with Banger on this one, pretty sure its impossible to keep one of these little squirts locked up. Especially one that already admitted to everythin'."
+1 Striking Crossbow, Inspire: 1d20 + 16 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 16 + 1 = 21

@Utek You did go down to 40 hp, but Torra healed you for 44, so you are full again. :)
Grimly contemplating the evil Aspis member, Torra sends a beam of good at her.
Divine Lance: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (1) + 15 = 16 for Good damage: 4d4 + 4 ⇒ (1, 3, 2, 4) + 4 = 14
Wow, a crit fail. LOL

Your attacks all strike as one as the Aspis Leader falls. Unwilling to be taking to jail for her crimes, she chooses death over life. Cursebreaker can use its ability to cast remove curse on the city and lift the slithering, but it can’t do so on its own.
The sun symbols will need activated in this room and the one below. To activate the sun symbols, the heroes must first perform the ritual illustrated on the wall carvings and succeed at a Nature or Religion check. A hero with a divine or primal connection to the sun, such as the sun domain, has a +2 circumstance bonus on this check. At least one character must succeed while in the center of this symbol, and at the same time another character must also do so while in the center of the lower sun symbol.

Scratch moves quickly around the room, making sure things seem secure. "Aight, I think I can help out. I've been 'round long enough to know a few things about the ways of the sun and the Gods."
I should be able to assist decently on whoever wants the DC20? attempt. GM: Do we have any hero points at this stage or they not a thing in these types of adventures?

You do indeed have Hero Points I just keep forgetting to pass them out. Since it has been a little while you all get a Hero Point for those back to back brutal fights and ending the Aspis threat.

Religion: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (6) + 10 = 16
Will spend Hero Point
Religion w/ Hero Point reroll: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (18) + 10 = 28
Utek helps with the ritual, channeling the power of the sun.
| Torra Shest |
"Yes, Bangy, Renthiel will be going down to the first floor, to the symbol there, to complete the ritual. You can help prevent any interruptions."
Torra concentrates on Sarenrae through her sun aspect as she stands in the center symbol in the upper chamber, chanting passages from The Birth of Light and Truth.
Religion: 1d20 + 15 + 2 ⇒ (17) + 15 + 2 = 34

An intangible orb of light 1 foot in diameter appears around Torra at the center of the upper sun symbol and moves away along the spiral. When it reaches the end of the spiral, it drops through the hole in the floor to the center of the lower sun and traces a similar path along that spiral. When the orb reaches the end, it rises up through the ceiling to the center of this symbol and begins the path again. The orb moves quickly, completing the circuit of the upper symbol in 1 round and then a circuit of the lower symbol in the following round.
The Pillar-Watcher glows with a fierce, bright fire that washes over the room, through the walls, and across the city.
This dramatic effect acts as a 10th-level remove curse spell that automatically cures the slithering from everyone in Kibwe at once (although people killed by the curse remain dead).
With the slithering gone, the Representative Council comes out of hiding and works with their constituents to restore order. Abayone makes it very clear to her fellow representatives and other dignitaries in the city that your group is responsible for stopping the curse, which results in heartfelt thanks and tokens of appreciation being lauded upon the heroes in the short term.
Kibwe will likely have a problem with oozes for quite some time, and its population is now more than a hundred humans fewer than it was a few short weeks ago. For a city of less than 4,000 people, this loss is noticeable and tragic. If the city is known for anything, though, it is for being a place where disparate people can come together in commerce and community—so Kibwe will survive.
That is the end of this Adventure. You can certainly continue to roleplay as much as you desire. I hope that you all enjoyed and will have chronices up soon.

Three primary emotions wash over our plucky hero. The first of which is relief. Bangy Piper had never walked so far in a short amount of time in his life. Add to that the stress of watching many innocent people suffer and die needlessly with no end in sight, now that it is here, his anger, sadness, and rage finally leave his body not fraying at every nerve ending with the constant slog of never-ending tasks.
The second emotion here is, strangely, regret. Yes, there was a terrible plan afoot, which asked of our everyone to continuously put their best forward. But through it all, Bangy had grown accustomed to being in a "pack" with the likes of his "Cursebreakers" here, and knows that the completion of the ceremony marks the end of those ties: In all likelihood, each will part and follow their own paths after this; the "pack" will cease to be.
The third and final emotion Bangy Piper feels is hope!
Asking Abayone Munme that, in his joining her efforts to help restore order to Kibwe, that he remain anonymous ("Can't bother with all that"), and instead be deployed in such a capacity that honors the request. Perhaps the grim task of accounting for missing and deceased persons in the wake of the chaos by keeping his PI - Renthiel Simnan - on retainer follow clues and chase leads!? (He'd have to ask him).
In either case, Bangy Piper dives right back into the thick of work, and too, continues his search to locate his sister, Daisy Piper...

Goes up to Scratch Steeltoe, and returns to him 1d4 ⇒ 3 still useable bolts found strewn about the building, then scurries away...
Goes up to Utek Shul'm bringing little pieces of goo - maybe oozes? - (not oozes...) - leaving them at his feet as a gift, then scurries away...
Goes up to Torra Shest, places a small hand on her foot, pauses a moment, and scurries away...
Goes up to Gramma Urrda, wriggles his whiskers warily, then scurries away...
Goes up to Renthiel Simnan, and climbs to his shoulder, "recruiting" him to continue their work!

Torra nods in thanks to Freerat and wishes Bangy well in his search for his sister.

The Avistani elf in a leather coat stares at the rat on his shoulder for several moments. As the moments stretch on the slight alien appearance of his ancestry becomes more noticeable. The pupil-less voids of their eyes, the supernatural smoothness of their skin makes Renthiel look like a three dimensional painting.
The façade is broken when he speaks, though he does not switch his gaze. "Why Katapesh?" he inquires as if continuing a conversation.

Mita finally comes out and starts bobbing up and down, eventually turning into an orc. The slime-orc wanders around. "Help?" the spellslime asks. Utek nods. "Yes, Mita. We'll stay here and help with the cleanup."
He turns to the others. "I think I'll stay here for a bit and help with cleanup. Perhaps move here and work setting up resources for the surrounding orc tribes."
"This was a tough past few days. I'm here for you if you ever want to talk."

Scratch watches the quick unfolding of the ritual through his gray bushy eyebrows Dang that's bright, nearly fried my eyes shut! After blinking and clearing the floating spots of lights from his vision he looks around. "Did it work? How the heck we gonna be able to tell?" He moves around the building to find a window to look out on the city.
If it worked maybe we can ship that statue up north.. let it blast out some light over that damned lake an its lich bastard a few times! A couple tears roll down the angry Dwarf's cheek, disappearing into his scraggly beard, never to be seen again.
"Thanks freerat, next time see what you can't scrounge up for some liquor eh?" He tosses him a scrap of jerky of unknown origin and moves around to the others in congratulations.
"Assumin' it worked or not, we done good. If ya need a drinkin' buddy or maybe a huntin' guide look me up. Unless its huntin' oozes, then you can suck n egg. Friggin' things." And with that Scratch wanders off to pick through the city for a few bits of 'well earned' salvage before drinking himself to sleep.

Urdda grumbles as she supervises all the Aspis prisoners carrying out their community service sentences - most of which involve scrubbing ooze remains off the streets and buildings. She keeps an especially close eye on the ringleader, even if her hands and feet are clapped in irons.
She grumbles some more as one by one her companions take their leave of the city. Each gets a heavy arm clapped around their shoulder and a bundle of medicinal salves "since you're terrible at taking care of yourself". The dwarf does not linger on farewells for long, having made many of them already in her line of work.
