...
Just have Mujina being like this football player pushing all the enemies around and to the ground.
I think we watch different football games :P Or maybe you meant American Football :D

Shifty |

Nah stick to Rugby League - BYO health insurance.
Great game, a little bit rough, loved playing it though :)

![]() |

I was referencing the ol American version but the real thing used to be a bit more physical too, perhaps Mujina can just be one of the hooligans at the match then. Lol.
I have enjoyed getting to watch rugby being in Japan!

![]() |

Ouch, that video was ... intense. Rugby is completely not popular in the middle of Europe where I live. Nor is American football ;) so I barely saw like 1-2 games of each sport.
Anywho... I haven't seen any PC using extensively bullrush, trip etc... yet. Mujina could be the first

No one expects the All-Six inquisition! That one made me laugh.
Sorry for being away the past few days. I got myself involved in searching for a dog that run away in a forest. That involved a charming solo walk in the woods at 9 PM that lasted roughly 1 hour, yelling and whistling hoping to find the animal. I found only a deer;) The weather was brutal -3 deg Celsius and thick fog. Spent Friday night and Saturday morning to midday looking for her, all in all, she was found 6 km away 2 villages further, all fine. A lot of lessons learned but as a result, I slept through the other half of the Saturday and here we are ;)
No more events planned before Christmas ;) Thanks for your understanding

Thanks Shifty for running this! Great job. (I go with a rule that you can never praise GM to much for the work that they did). Well done, I still need to figure out how to play a skitter in a morale questionable situation.
For now they seem a bit comical personas that wishes to help everyone and sometimes would wreck havoc or destroy things. But always willing to help.
So how should they behave facing 'pure evil'? I wonder...

Shifty |

So to backfill some detail.
The vesk had little to no idea what was going on, they were a group of guns-for-hire security guards who were more interested in playing video games and crushing cans of energy drink. They were able to snuck past, or even engaged by someone with 'profession (vid gamer)'.
The (somewhat more intelligent) Ijtikris had at least a vague idea that Nrall was conducting research work involving Shimmerstone (but not what the research was or what Shimmerstone was even good for), but that it was generally more prudent not to get involved as Nrall was a bad-tempered employer, so they rarely ventured past the lunchroom. Their main motivation in life was to make some easy coin doing not a lot guarding a facility that would only really be disturbed if a test subject got loose.
I guess the question is whether Buddy is up for revenge killing the concierge for the acts of the building owner :p
The great irony in this is that the T3-4 version has Nrall with a Skittermander assistant with a doshko who did it's best to help the party into a grave.
Of the three tables I just ran, two left the Itjikris alive. The other party just opened fire as they aren't big on talking to the enemies other than to announcing their impending doom :)

1 person marked this as a favorite. |

Thanks for the game! I'll be bowing out of the follow-on as I am not in a position to commit to regular posting, but hopefully I'll be serving drinks at your table again at some point in the future.

@Garcon you will be missed.
@GM thanks for clarifications. But I feel like either vesks or the squids had to capture the herd aliens. So I would say that the comparison is less of a concierge and more of a driver of human trafficking business.

Chronicle looks good! Thanks again, Shifty!
Looking forward to the further skitter-adventures with you all!

Thank you, chronicle looks good. Time to get Mujina into some training and try something new.

Shifty |

@GM thanks for clarifications. But I feel like either vesks or the squids had to capture the herd aliens.
Soorid and Tansid the eyewitnesses both fingered (what you would later find to be) Nrall :)
***
Soorid explains that she was working one evening when she saw a strange humanoid creature with horns and a cybernetic arm appear in the tree line. The creature fled when she called out to warn the herd.
Once calmed, Trisu explains in a stuttering voice that he saw a two-legged creature poke his friend Tansid in the neck with something sharp and drag him into the woods.
***
Nrall was guilty as hell and got what was coming :P

Chronicle looks good Shifty!
Sorry to hear that we are going to lose our bartender. I enjoyed the game with you Garcon!

![]() |

Given that we are loosing Garcon, do we want to approach again Taneka he dropped out after the previous game, but he might have availability now. Should I try to recruit him?
I will follow the rule of 2 yes or 1 no.
I vote 'yes'

Are we all looking at doing this with the Skitterforce? Just FYI, this next scenario (whichever Joe does) will get her to level 3....and she immediately gets Skitter Crash on her (since she got that put on her a long time ago).
Just trying to make certain we are all doing Skiters or not :-)

Shifty |

Over to you guys how you come at this Skitter-wise :)
From a planning point of view, the story Arc we are doing is 1-4.
We have completed two in the arc, and reading the product description on the next one it doesn't sound like an end to a series, so I suspect we are in for at least four scenarios.

![]() |

Mujina will be skittering along to the next one, with a Tac-Lash and focusing more on Tripping than Bullrushing now. Also hitting 2 after this.

![]() |

I'm definitely planning on sticking with Szama throughout this series. She just dinged to 3rd level after completing this scenario, so she's a little ahead in level, but not so far that she'll be out of tier for the group any time soon.

Ok, and send.
"Look to my coming on the first light of the second day, at dawn look to the east."
:P
So I got no response. I think it will be just the 5 of us
