It is with a heavy heart that I sit at my keyboard tonight and face the reality that, between the continued complications following my wife's c-section and the changing face of my work environment, I simply do not have the ability to participate in this game and need to step away from the boards as a whole. I am sorry to have lingered on for so long.

May you all find joy and wonderment in your future gaming endeavours!

Any chance for this murder mystery to continue? I don't think I'll ever again have the chance to be a former mob enforcer tooth fairy on the confusing path towards morality of any kind in a magical gangland Chicago

I'd hoped so but I think the various disruptions I had early in the game that made building momentum hard put a pretty severe damper on it.

So, are you officially closing the thread then?

Sad to see it go if that's the direction we're heading. Personally, I'm down to continue if others are, but we might need to rerecruit some.

If you folks want to continue I can see about bringing in some new players.

I'm willing, but to me it depends on you. If you think that you have time for the game, then sure, let's re-recruit and start up again, but if you don't, I'm okay with stopping too.

I think my frustration was just that we didn't seem to be getting anywhere with the investigation, so if we do continue, maybe we could skip to the next clue? :)

Hey folks, really sorry for the radio silence. Just after I was ready to get things started again, my grandma was diagnosed with cancer and it hit me pretty hard, leaving me with little by way of bandwidth for a new project. As it stands now though, the prognosis seems good and fingers crossed, treatment is promising option.

I've got finals coming up soon, but I'm absolutely happy to either pick this game back up or run something new in Crossroads for the folks that are still around. My schedule with them is pretty flexible so I should have the time and energy for it.

Let me know what you want to do, and sorry again for dropping off there.

Sorry to hear that. I'm in if you want to pick it up again, but I'm totally cool with you starting something else in crossroads; not addicted to the current storyline, although if we do switch I would like to know what happened to the Black Starling. :)
