Hi all, excited to play!

Will do IC character introduction once we get rolling, but OOC intro: Lydia is a level 10 scoundrel rogue with red mantis assassin dedication (charity boon). Out of combat she can play the role of the face if no one else has the skills for it, and in combat she plays a melee frontliner with Tactical Debilitations. She does have ward medic/continual recovery.

Well, to be clear, you should get 10% or +10 from the bump itself, even with no Mentor boon at all.

For the boon, you get 3 x 2 (Quinoline is Admired) on top of that, so 6 on top of that.

16 total.

Additional complication: Quinoline bought the boon under the old Fame system, in which the Tiers were closer together (10/20/60/90 IIRC) and Quinoline has 114 Reputation, between 90 (old level 4) and 120 (new level 3). The text of my boon says the additional HP should be 3x4 = 12, but I don't know if all the old boons got depreciated and I should be using the new boon.

To be honest, this is the first time it's ever come up - nobody's taken Quinoline's boon since Fame was phased out. I can try to find the boon and upload it to Google Drive if it matters, I think I have it on an old thumb drive.

Hey all, may be a little slow to post over the next couple of days. My wife is fighting cancer and is feeling very crappy today. We ended up doing a run to the hospital and she’s getting fluids, but we may need to come back tomorrow. Just letting you know so no one thinks I disappeared if I don’t get a chance to post.

I forgot about my debilitations that happen when Lydia strikes a FF(off-guard) creature.

For her attack against Red she'd apply enfeebled 1 until end of Lydia's next turn.

Thanks! And yeah sorry about that. I'm usually pretty good about that stuff with my characters but this PC i hadn't played PbP since level 3 so i don't have all my usual reminders/ notes /etc set up. I'll get it added to my attack template!

I've reported the games, but since it's PBP, we can go "overtime" if you want to. How much more will depend a bit on what you all decide you want to do. (And if folks want to say we've reached the end of their time, we can also say it's time to wrap up, though it won't be an immediate conclusion -- feel free to DM me if you feel that way and would prefer.)

That said, I may not be able to post this week; I'm training a new employee the next couple of days (I may have time in the evenings, but not sure what my days will look like). Then I'll probably have time Wednesday, but after that it's Thanksgiving and my folks are visiting.

Oh, and then I may have jury duty next Monday, so who knows what will happen with that. And next weekend is Pax Unplugged, which I also need to prep for. So it may be more like a couple of weeks, though I should definitely get SOME posts in during that time. :D

This is the first time I've gotten to play lydia in a year, so I'm eager to see the full thing through so long as others are. I don't have a strict timeline since I've not made plans to play her again until after we're done.

I'd also love to see things through to the end, and Quinoline has no plans. The 7-10s are infrequent enough that I don't forsee Quinoline doing anything before the next convention.

Normally, I'd stick to the end, but first...
What is the difference of one way vs the other?
If we end now, does it affect reporting notes, like Box B no longer gets checked, do we miss out on treasure bundles, etc? I know some scenarios say this encounter is optional, if you are running low on time skip it, does this affect that as well? And if we end now, is there nothing but skill checks left and you just bot us for them?

Just to be clear, even if we "lock in" the scenario outcome wherever we are now for formal PFS reporting purposes, or bot checks to speedrun, I'd be happy to informally play through with whatever subset of players want to continue, resolving everything narratively if needed, to find out what happens.

I had to already report the game, but I believe I can send an edited report if needed to change the outcomes (such as Box B). Treasure bundles don't get reported, so that will be determined by how the adventure finishes, when I send out chronicles.

It sounds like exploring is going to risk things, and here's where metagame and meta-metagame collide for me. We have everyone and probably should just return home without a full Exploration block to even search the room.

But ... motteditor has been so nice to write a nice room that seems like it's full of fun things to play with. It's probably against our self-interest, but ... aren't you guys curious? :D

If anyone wants to take a peek ... and I'm assuming "anyone" means Lydia, Quinoline can offer: a cloak of elvenkind (invisibility), greater eagle eye elixir (+3 Perception), greater cheetah elixir (+10' speed), moderate bravo's brew (+2 Will). Can also put on the electrostim thing.

If we leave, GM, would you be willing to offer us a description of the room anyway? :D

well with the key it takes 1 minute to activate. so Lydia would have 4 minutes to peak in and/or look around. I'd be up for it if rest of party is.

Lydia didn't prep invisibility today so cloak of elvenkind would be appreciated. The consumables could help. She also has foil senses (taking precautions against special senses), and swift sneak so she can move at full speed (45' with elixir) while also checking for traps via trapfinder with +23 perception (vs traps, with elixir).

PF2 is kind of silly when you stop to think about traversing rooms at full speed, undetected, in terms of minutes. 1350' per minute or 5400' while being invisible and taking precautions against special senses she could peak in and probably cover the entire room before 4 minutes is up. To be clear, lydia would be breaking the 4 minute barrier for a mile and not even be winded lol

But if we don't want to take a risk then thats fine. I think up until this point we've had a pretty flawless run and are in a good position to get out before things go awry so I can see arguments with both options (leave now or take a quick look to see if its worth it)
