Quinoline double brews another set of bombs, this time both lightning. I'll re-up acid if they end the persistent.

Zazu looks at the creature swining at the air "Oh, you are so shocked by my greatness that you attack ghosts! Lovely, keep doing that." Sustain the spell

And then eh waves a hand and sends a piece of debris at them

With Bremix struggling with his vision, Lydia is able to get several hard hits in, followed by a vicious strike from Mandower. He appears to be regaining his footing, able to fend off Vella's blows, but then Quinoline's bombs spray caustic liquid all over him, and he lets out a cry and falls to the ground.

Unconscious, he continues to breathe harshly. A few seconds later, Zazu suddenly reappears -- apparently not dead, after all! The other Ardis Scholars gather round, and Narcela stands. "We must leave quickly!" she urges.

You can save Bremix and take him with you if you choose.

Quinoline will Quick Alchemy a minor elixir of life and revive Bremix, she'll advocate taking him with us and knocking him out with nonlethal if he gives us any trouble.

As soon as Vella sees Bremix drop she starts moving about, arms stretched and calling out Zazu! Can you hear us? Where did you go!

When the ratfolk eventually returns she breaths a sigh of relief and holds the mage tight for a moment while she sends vitality into the wizard's very bruised and bloody fur Lay on Hands for 30HP.

Noting Quinoline stopping Bremix from dying the dwarf grimly helps, making sure he is breathing - while also getting out some rope to restrain his feet and arms should he re-awake still with reckless murder on his mind. Yes, let's go. We must get you all back safe - and see what was done to your comrade.

Zazu slowly begins to see his allies

"Where were you? I was fighting those three bozos all by myself!" He notices the wounds, and ichor dropping from their weapons. Then he notices the wounds on the creatures matching the shape and size of weapons held

"I see, what an interesting effect, I guess you were isolated from me, I guess by some weird magical effect or illusion. I need to analyze this... when we have time"

"I guess we should flee, for now, and come back to kick Aslynn behind later on" Seeing Vellas healing and feeling the warm feeling going through his body he says "Thank you!"

With the group in seeming accord, Lumna activates their magic and you all again transform into energy, though this time you depart the Shadow Plane. Arriving home, Venture-Captain Evni Zongnoss is thrilled to meet the Ardis Scholars you bring back.

Perhaps even more touching, however, is a woman who still looks as if she's recovering from a bad injury comes out. Narcela -- also still looking the worse for wear from her experience -- looks up and meets her eyes, and her face transforms. She rushes to greet the human woman, who Vella recognizes as an Ardis Scholar named Revecka. The two lock eyes, and grasp their hands, shy smiles on their face as you then give the planes-crossed lovers the privacy for their first in-person meeting.

Mustering the shocked Scholars you've brought home into some semblance of organization, Evni ushers them into their headquarters to discuss what they've experienced, as well as to glean any information she can about Aslynn’s plans. She calls over her shoulder that she'll talk to you all tomorrow.

You've able to rest and recover yourselves, and gather the next day in Evni's carriage, where she debriefs you. She takes possession of the item you recovered -- which she says a newly discovered note has identifies as a multiversal navigator, and assures you the Horizon Hunters will be grateful.

And with that, we're at an end to this scenario! Thank you you all for playing. I'm going to add a couple of notes in the Discussion thread, but I'll be sending out the chronicles probably later today. Feel free to add a final post or two in the gameplay thread if you want.

Vella blicks as her eyes readjust to the light on Golarion. Regaining her vision just in time to see Narcela and Revecka connect face to face, she smiles.

As the other scholars and Pathfinders move to check on their group, Vella waves Evni over and points to Bremix. Be careful. she cautions. One of the scholars, Bremix, transfigured and attacked us as we were readying to leave. I don't know if its a curse, or reversible, or what sort of magic or alchemy was done to him, but hopefully some of the bright minds here can do what they can.

Lydia nods her head in agreement when Quinoline revives Bremix. The scoundrel lowers her weapons but keeps them drawn for other danger.

Does Lydia sense Zazu? with sense allies: 1d20 ⇒ 12 Yes!
Meanwhile Lydia looks in Zazu's direction before he has reappeared, "Zazu, are you alright?" I know you're there!" she says moments before he reappears.

Lydia is eager to return back to the lodge and has the energy of having just performed a great heist, "That was the perfect job!" she laughs thinking about how the party foiled Aslynn afterall. "Great job everyone."

Turning to Narcella, Lydia offers, "I hope you can be free now. Choose your own life, don't let others choose for you" the former red mantis assassin offers from her own experience.

Lydia otherwise says goodbye to the group and retires, mentioning that she thinks she's on the edge of learning some new tricks and is eager to practice. with remaster out, lydia no longer needs 2x unconventional weaponry to use sawtooth (just need 1x unconventional), and can get crit specialization with the new rogue chassis. Oh, and scoundrel also gets a step after feinting with the new chassis. Time for a remaster rebuild!
