Then his attack goes off before Nasir since his initiative order is before his action. Dismiss the previous text verbiage. It's not like we can get past it through the door anyways. We will still have to attack it. It just delays the fact if we pull back to allow Frantino to recover.

The snowball is perfectly placed, but on an ooze, what is perfect, really? Oozes are immune to crits

Two hits! But Yazhi's damage doesn't seem to do much to the creature. Ayita's hammer strikes true, as well, but only results in a massive spattering of gore everwhere... which then reforms.

The gore thing rears back, forming a flowing arm of blood and viscera. At the end of the arm are bits of tissue and bone that REACH OUT at the thing that hurt it so badly before!

@FRANTINO Disarm vs CMD20: 1d20 + 17 - 4 ⇒ (15) + 17 - 4 = 28 No AoO from the nauseated Frantino.

The gore thing swarms over the retching Frantino's hands, coating them in blood, and RIPS his halberd from his now blood-smeared hands!

The ooze-like thing swallows the halberd within itself until it reappears on the opposite side of its huge slick of guts and blood. No mechanical effect, of course.

Ah, s!$!. I shouldve waited before posting this. Doc goes AFTER Nasir. It is possible that Nasir's actions could freeze the gore monster, again, making it impossible to AoO Doc. @DOC I'll retcon the dmg if this happens.

Question on sequencing, can Frantino delay to see if it fails its save against the unguent? Ready is a standard action, Delay is not an action. If so, Frantino would immediately come out of delay to use his one move action to edge around the ooze to get into position to pick up Fury, given that his combat powers are much greater when holding his abjuration implement.

Yes, Frantino can delay. Of course, the location of Fury is purely flavor/color. No mechanical game effect.

EDIT: Frantino will do one of the only things he can do and change his mind, although no one can tell since he's just standing there puking. He delays to see if the ooze hardens over. If another hard candy coating forms over the gooey inside and it stops moving, he'll come out of delay and use his move action to sidle around it and stand over Fury. Maybe tomorrow he'll be able to pick it up.

Worst Halloween candy ever! I think I'll refer to this as "purely flavor/color," too.

The unguent starts to harden the gore-ooze, but after a few moments cracks begin to appear in it and it becomes viscous again!

Wait, are you saying that it was already frozen? That wasn't at all clear, I took the lineup as we were waiting for its saving throw to happen once Nasir applied the unguent. And now it has broken free after only half a round? That doesn't seem fair. If it was already unmoving Frantino would have immediately moved on his turn instead of delay, the way I worded my Delay was to see IF he failed his initial save at all!

@FRANTINO here is where it failed its initial save when Nasir poured it on his turn.

No problem if you want to retcon your move. Go for it.

As for the end of round save, the unguent says "it can attempt a new saving throw at the end of each round to end the effect early." I interpret that as after its turn is over, so applying the oozeclot has the effect of taking its turn up, even if it does (did) save.

Both hit! But only a little of Ayita's attack goes through. Yazhi is frustrated that her bite doesn't seem to hurt the gore-ooze.
