If so, Ayita would try to wrench Fury out. It's probably not in reach though, in that case she attacks again.

You can certainly attempt a disarm combat maneuver to wrench it out of the ooze's control. But Ayita can tell that it won't be easy.

With your rolls above, Ayita wouldn't succeed. If you feel this is what Ayita would attempt and wish to proceed, let me know.

The gore monster makes a weird, goopy <plonk> noise when Nasir's shield hits it. It reforms, unaffected by the shield.

About to strike Nasir, it SUDDENLY refocuses towards Frantino when he draws his greatsword!

The thing slams its arm-like gore appendage right into Frantino!

Since the nauseated condition should have ended right before the ooze's turn, Frantino will expend two uses of Inspiration as an immediate action to add 1d6 to his saving throw.

Investigator inspiration:
An investigator has the ability to augment skill checks and ability checks through his brilliant inspiration. The investigator has an inspiration pool equal to 1/2 his investigator level + his Intelligence modifier (minimum 1). An investigator’s inspiration pool refreshes each day, typically after he gets a restful night’s sleep. As a free action, he can expend one use of inspiration from his pool to add 1d6 to the result of that check, including any on which he takes 10 or 20. This choice is made after the check is rolled and before the results are revealed. An investigator can only use inspiration once per check or roll. The investigator can use inspiration on any Knowledge, Linguistics, or Spellcraft skill checks without expending a use of inspiration, provided he’s trained in the skill.

Inspiration can also be used on attack rolls and saving throws, at the cost of expending two uses of inspiration each time from the investigator’s pool. In the case of saving throws, using inspiration is an immediate action rather than a free action.

Inspiration bonus to Fort save: 1d6 ⇒ 6

Having seen this play before, Frantino anticipates the gore spattering him and blocks enough of it with his buckler to keep it from getting in his mouth and nose again.

Great use of Inspiration! And a great roll, too! If a player makes the save, he is nauseated for only 1 round.

GM Derek, Is the nauseated condition from being covered in the foul smelling gore? Can a prestidigitation spell get rid of the condition since Frantino is trying to wipe it off? Or at least reduce the amount of rounds nauseated?

Prestidigitation’s limits prevent it from being effective here. Another person can take a fullround action to scrape off some of the film and reduce the remaining duration of the nauseated condition by 1 round. But as he’s only nauseated for 1 round, by the time you get there you would need to do the full round action the following round. After he’s already unnauseated.

EZRANADIR SUMMONS THE HELL-VERSION OF THE GORE

As soon as Ezranadir's wand touches the gore, a little spark of electricity ZAPS the ooze.

SUDDENLY, a loud screeching is heard and the ooze ERUPTS in burning hellfire, crackling and flaring everywhere. The room is engulfed in fiendish flames, the scent of hell everywhere.

The fire washes over every body in the room! Somehow, the fire burns worse than anybody could have expected.

Once the explosion collapses, Ezranadir peers through the brimstone smoke and sees the terrible squirming, screeching, gore-thing fully aflame. He realizes that it isn't in pain from the flames, but is simply, finally, its true fiendish self! (Imagine the thing from The Thing as it screams and squirms amidst the flamethrower flames)

The hell-smoke of the burning gore fills the area, quickly masking its terrible visage from anybody not immediately adjacent. (Concealment 20% Miss within 5ft; Total Concealment 50% Miss further than 5ft)

Frantino will expel some more of his breakfast onto the ooze and hold his position in the smoke, delaying until he feels better.

In the smoke obscured room the eyeless ooze thing somehow senses Frantino and his edged weapon. It strikes out at Frantino and his greatsword!

@FRANTINO Disarm vs. CMD20: 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (17) + 17 = 34

Frantino feels the blazing heat of the hellfire, but luckily isn't touched by the gore's burning pseudopod!

The thing grabs the sword from the nauseated Frantino's hands, absorbing it into the huge burning mass.

"absorbed into the mass" is color with no mechanical effect. You can still counter-disarm (vs CMD22), if you so choose.

Not a typical ooze. The force missile actually did full damage! And, if you can believe it, fiendish gives it Resist Cold. So the Ray of Frost simply hisses into steam as it tries to penetrate the hellfire surrounding it.
