Can I see the red specter? Or are they behind a wall? I am not sure based on the map if Urah has taken them beyond our ability to aid him.

It is on the stairs and not visible to you. You can tell it is there by the more intelligible screams from Urah.

@Gnasher
You are no longer shaken - it wore off. You need to make a fort save. And you know where the remaining specter is. First because Uran keeps screaming his head off about it and, 2. because they have a permanent storm front around them . So you can charge up the stairs after it or you can wait for it to finish with Urah and come down to you. Personally, I am all in for a Urah vs. specter showdown.

Malgrim shakes his head at he sound of Urah running away and will start up the stairs and yell, "Urah, come back!"

Double move up the stairs. I am assuming its difficult so we are not getting too far.

Gnasher contemplates rushing to the rescue, while Malgrim actually does so. You are correct in that going up stairs is like difficult terrain. Tarak makes some noise but also does nothing, yet.

Nobody is bothered much by the implosion. I'm impressed you remembered to take the deduction to your ST because of con loss, Gnasher! Since yelling and/or screeing is a free action, both Gnasher and Tarak can still do something.

Not sure why you think that. You have a 14 con and even if you take full damage on a second implosion you will live. Each 2 con loses you 6 HP so basically you are down 12 currently. And with the damage you took that is a whopping 22 out of your 41 and these things are light hitters. You are fine. Good drama though. :)

Gnasher joins the rush up the stairs as Urah makes a stand. Since he is on the stairs, however, he has to take a move action to step back which invites an AoO.

Looking from Magrim, to the stones, then the tunnel beyond, Gnasher shakes his head. "Tribe cannot let Ghost go alone." As he speaks he sets down his bardiche, undoes his pack and belt, pulling his armor off over his head. He withdraws his chain shirt from the pack, then ties his chainmail to the outside. Putting his chain shirt on, he puts on his belt and reshoulders his pack. Picking up his bardiche he nods to Malgrim, "Gnasher ready now."

Moving back, almost to the first step he runs and jumps for the first stone. Continuing from there, jumping stone to stone, until he gets to the third one.

Gritting his teeth, he begins gingerly making the journey as well.

Looks like you have to make 20 rolls, which is pretty much statistically impossible unless you find a creative solution.

First off, now that the illusion is pierced you can do a knowledge roll...

DC 19 kn dungeoneering:
There is a thin layer of green slime in patches of green slime all over the water.

Waiting on knowledge roll results and any creative solutions before processing your little swimming expeditions, though Urah is a rock star so far.

Gnasher plunges into the water and takes 1d6 ⇒ 1 con damage as the slime starts eating away at his skin, armor, weapons, etc. 2d6 ⇒ (3, 6) = 9 damage to armor, ignoring hardness.

Malgrim Gryh (-4 HP)
Urah Pyr (-13 HP, -4 con)
Tarak (-0 HP)
Gnasher (-0 HP, -9/40 HP armor, -4 con, +4 str)

He shoots one to test.

The ray of frost cleans Gnasher right up though you can see the slime slowly creeping back to fill the area Urah's ray cleansed. Gnasher is able to hop onto the stone quite easily and avoid the returning slime. The water is only a couple of feet deep and the platforms not much higher than that.

I put your icons where you would have ended up after your jumping instructions, though I am assuming you are all following behind Gnasher and were there to help him.

So what is your next move?

Sorry, I'm assuming Gnasher will use the roll made previously

climb: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (17) + 7 = 24

With Malgrim's help Gnasher climbs out of the acidic waters, and continues on his way. Again, slipping into the poisonous water on the third stone.

No need for a climb roll. Really. You just hop back up on the platform. It is the jumping from one to the other that is the challenge. Getting back on after you missed is trivial.

GM hint: You are doing this the hard way. With a little creativity you can make it through without falling in again. But since you insist :)

Once again Gnasher plunges into the water and takes 1d6 ⇒ 1 con damage and 2d6 ⇒ (3, 3) = 6 damage to armor. But man gnoll is that fellow tough. Seems like he could do this all day long, and he sure seems determined to try.

Malgrim will go get two beams from the rubble and return to use it as a walkway.

Malgrim heads off to find supplies for this bridge using his engineering 'expertise', fortunately the ex-slaves have been busily doing engineering-like work for a while now and are easily able to point him in the right direction to find suitable supplies. It is not difficult to build, but eying the slime below he makes darn sure it is stable and sturdy.

You may accompany him or not for RP purposes, but there will be no combat or encounter. Heck, Gnasher could go for the remaining jumps while Malgrim is out if he wants to :)

With a portable bridge available, the group is able to pass to the other side without any further incident and travel down a wide passage that ends in a pair of large doors.

You are a little beat up. Going straight in, or would you like to do a little healing?

Realizing that waiting for a bridge may be a better idea than jumping from slippery rock to slippery rock, Gnasher waits for Malgrm to return with the wooden plank.

Eventually reaching the cave on the other side, he gestures towards the doors. "Tribe ready?"

Urah refuses to jump again until the makeshift bridge is ready upon seeing Gnasher 'challenge' the slimes. He didn't feel that he could do it.

Once across though, he does take up the customary take cover position as is his wont.

"Ready."

You open the door and find yourself looking into some kind of temple. The room shows signs of damage, with cracks running across the sand-covered floor, walls, and ceiling. Dominating the room in the center looms a huge and horrific many-tentacled creature apparently frozen in a shell of translucent minerals, something straight out of the pit of Ravagug. It is standing on top of a low stone pedestal, the Terran runes from the door repeated on its northern face (more of those nasty terran runes again :). It seems like the eyes are observing you, full of malevolent purpose.

"Well...Thats a thing. I think we should avoid opening the shell if possible." Malgrim says as he looks over the room.

Do we see a way out of this room other then the door we are at?

Nodding in agreement with Malgrim, Gnasher starts to walk in the room. "Gnasher think Ghost is right." Keeping his bardiche at the ready, Gnasher slowly works his way into the room, his back practically against the wall, keeping an eye on it, as he moves around the creature.

Yea, I described the room but I did not move the spoiler covering the room on the map so you could not see it on the map. Normally when you enter a location it is revealed on the map but I just plain forgot.

Gnasher starts inching cautiously away from the door, but in spite of the light footed steps, the creature notices. The ground trembles and the cracks in the floor widen spewing a combination of sand and some foul substance from the abyss. The shell surrounding the beast starts to crack and the eyes stare at Gnasher with increased malevolence.

Note: since you did not heal up I am going to assume the bull's strength is still active on Gnasher too. This is a surprise round and each character has a single standard action, not so much because anyone is particularly surprised, but because of how quickly things are developing. Remember that for every 2 con damage you are at -6 HP, so both Urah and Gnasher are at -12.
