With the immediate threat neutralized, Leosa searches for any other. She gets that familiar pang in her head signaling the invasion of a foreign spirit, but the protective ward serves her well again. River feels it as well, but his vast inner reserve proves too hardy.

Unwilling to further test your wills, the two remaining shadow demons burst forth from their magical hiding and their ghostly forms slip from the walls like falling water, before blending into the shadows again.

Catching a glimpse of more demons hiding in the darkness, River tries the remaining trick he has for revealing the unseen, and starts casting a spell through ritual dance and chanting.

Assuming he thinks it will work, he's casting Invisibility Purge

”Alright, Vendalfek, you can stop now.” Not-Trixie’s voice is still shaky, but she squares her shoulders and hesitantly heads back down the stairs. You heard the demon’s death scream. You can do this. You are not alone. She keeps repeating the mantra as she descends.

As soon as she spots another shadow demon, the wizard snaps into action. With a wave of her hand, she conjures five silvery darts that all race towards the closer incorporeal opponent!

River's spell spreads across the kitchen, revealing the dark foes in turn. The rest of the party springs into action. Sihir's archon enlightens the nearest demon but the lantern lights are curiously ineffective and it dodges his blinding ray with disdain. Daedîn unleashes his volley into the closest demon, but only one arrow finds its target.

Overcoming her fear, Not-Trixie races to a spot under the archon and fills the newest demon with missile after missile of piercing force. Leosa's hammer pummels the demon further, causing it to wither substantially.

The furthest demon pounces onto River, tearing at his flesh and the dreaded wards he now emanates. The wounded demon pulls back and fills the remainder of the room with frightening thoughts once again.

Your minds fill with the hideous voice screeching - "We shall avenge the Bishop!"

Ghost salt would make it so your arrows did full damage against an incorporeal creature. The miss chance is from the dim light condition (was dark down here, daylight spell made it dim light)

Yeah, low-light just lets you see farther in dim light than say, a human. Only darkvision negates the concealment miss chance.

@Sihir Actually that was the will save vs fear (my fault for not labeling)...still need a will save to see if you disbelieve and take less damage.

River's ally strikes hard into the demon, followed by Sihir's blinding flash and Psycho's missiles. Daedîn's second arrow finally releases the dread demon from existence and the room is silent once more.

The 2 minute Communal Protection from Evil would have disappeared (one of you has a minute left), a few other short term buffs will disappear after this next encounter.

Opening up the door to reveal the source of the screaming, you find another tower beyond. This room stinks of chemical smells. Over-sized vats, racks, hearths, and an assortment of cutting tools suggest grim activities in this dark, reeking chamber.

Two large creatures have just moved down the stairs leading from the tower above. One is a powerful giant with blue-green skin and eyes - flashing a scowl that highlights her pearlescent teeth and carrying a trident. The male following her is a muscular giant with crimson skin and small black horns, wielding an imposing falchion.
