Being a tannery, the floor recesses nearly a foot, though the central drain is long since plugged with clay. Pushing through the ankle deep waters that still slowly drain into the room - a quick search reveals little of value in the room, although the pair's matching platinum wedding bands would be worth a fair sum.

--------------------------------

When you are ready to continue on...

Checking the door (next to the entrance of this room), it leads to stairs heading down below, and eventually a large barracks. Enormous bunk beds line the wall of this room, stinking of sweat and visibly swarming with parasites. At the room’s far end, a raised frame contains a miniature bed swathed in silks.

Searching the beds reluctantly, you find a considerable stash of items under the fanciest one: two potions of cure serious wounds, four potions of energy resistance (electricity), and a necklace of fireballs (type II).

--------------------------------

Heading up the stairs (from whence the couple descended), you discover their love nest. This opulent bedchamber shows signs of eons of water damage and the scorching of slow-burning flames. A warped and charred stairway leads up.

--------------------------------

Following the stairs to the top of the tower you find a darkened chamber with thick iron bars that divide it neatly in half. To one side - elaborate tables, tools, and biology diagrams imply torture. To the other - unidentifiable stains mark a row of dingy cells.

The Patchwork Lord’s latest victim, a grizzled man, rests in one of the cells after Zassrion’s latest round of tests. Half-starved and obviously a touch mad from his experiences, he scrambles across the the floor on his hands and knees over to the bars for a better look.

"Have you come to save me? Or end me? If you help me, I will give you vast riches, or perhaps a noble title! I come from one of the richest families on Taldor! Do you know where that is?"

New maps and images. (Yes, the bed is in the wrong place on the map)

River would land before exhausting his fly minutes for the day to save some for later. I'll assume he's got 4 minutes left if that's ok?

"That might be wise, we must face Zassrion before we leave this place. It has the inevitability of story. If we do not return, then you will be on your own, but at least you will live"

Reasoning that the time must be near, and that it lasts a long time anyway, River will cast Resist Energy (electricity) on Daedîn, Not-Trixie and Leosa.

That's resist electricity 20 for 100 minutes. The rest of us could take a potion?

Still very nervous, Meloigne retreats and waits in the tower for you to prevail.

With the use of the potions, I'll assume everyone and their pets have Resist Electric 20 for the remainder of the scenario.

Eager to finally face the dragon, you pull at the heavy doors and they swing open. Hanging silks and overstuffed pillows liven up this warm, white chamber beyond. Pipes lead into and out of the side walls, while an immense, shallow bath fills the center of the lounge, creating thin wisps of steam that gently rise to the ceiling. Casually lounging around the bath are three beautiful red-haired maidens, clearly restrained by manacles to the floor, but with ample chain to move around a considerable distance.

They seem strangely startled by your arrival. Two are quite demure to your presence, but the buxom one farthest away smiles pensively.

"New faces. Are you the replacement guards? Surely not. Then perhaps you have come to save us from the indignity of fulfilling Zassrion’s pleasures?"

Daedîn moves forward into the pool and starts to sink into it, using his bow as a makeshift paddle. As he does so - a strange amber glow surrounds him as the pool's true function asserts itself. It is a battery!

Seeking to harm him, the leader completes her vile transformation to demon form as well, and slides forward to greet the poor elf.

The leader stares hard at the group and Not-Trixie unleashes her waiting spell. The balls of force skim across the pool and one hits her solidly in the head, disrupting her casting and leaving her in a heap on the pool's edge.

There is the sound of something very large walking across the floor above you and a booming masculine voice echoes with equal measure down the stairways that flank the room you occupy.

Not-Trixie would like to investigate the side rooms before we head upstairs.

As the group prepares to ascend, the wizard puts a hand on Leosa's shoulder. "Here - you're the most likely to get within biting proximity of this dragon. Uh, I mean where the dragon can bite you, not the other way around. Not that I'm saying you can't bite the dragon if... Here."
