Healing Bomb Free ActionFeat 4
Additive 2
Source Advanced Player's Guide pg. 107
Frequency once per round
Trigger You craft an elixir of life using Quick Alchemy, and that elixir is at least 2 levels lower than your advanced alchemy level.
By adding a special catalyst, you transform a healing elixir into a topical projectile. You grant the elixir the bomb trait. If you throw an elixir of life bomb at a willing target, you hit even on a failure, though not on a critical failure. If your Strike with this elixir bomb hits a living target, the target regains Hit Points as if it had consumed the elixir. On a critical success, the target also gains the elixir's item bonus to saving throws against diseases and poisons for 1 minute.

Well, the module does say that Vilree and the Behemoth should make for a very dangerous encounter, I did not really think so, but I guess I had forgotten the crits.
And I only had her toss at Tamerius to avoid splashing her allies.
Boom (((

Giggett tries some gnome magic...
Unexpected Shift: 1d20 ⇒ 2
I read--
--Giggett tries some gnome magic...
Unexpected Shit
And really wondered what the heck you were rolling for about 10 seconds...
GM Wayfinder
Though it is not yet Tamerius turn to act, he seems to have moved far away in time and space, leaving Golarion, passing the Gap-- to where Heroes have just become Resolve!
Farol
Yesterday I spend some time reviewing the history of my healing potions (as I obviously didn't track them in my profile), and I still have 1 lesser healing potion 2d8+5. Which I will give to Tam. I will be able to post in an hour. Sorry for the mess with my profile.
And 1 more thing Barbarian has Deny Adventage which means that I can't be flanked by monsters of my lvl or lower. It does not change much with regards to the hit, but just letting you know.
Sitril Anvilbrand
I am next to him as well, due to being pushed back by the big guy, but I was certain that you are not moving before him. Ok. Charging back in ;)
GM Wayfinder
I'll check re. Deny Advantage, but I do not think it changes anything.
It still lets the creatures give flank (ie. you can have a lvl 1 creature in position, and a lvl 4 creature opposite it, the lvl 1 does not flank, but it does give flank to the other).
re. Chronicles: I can give them to any of you when you want.
Just tell me what character (PFS number, name, level etc.) you want them for and I'll give them to you.
And then report it with that info' when we finish.
GM Wayfinder
the Behemoth went swimming.
He is now re-rolling a new lvl 1 character.
He does not care about flanking...
Oh, and maybe you found use for that last Healing potion after all?
GM Wayfinder
When (if?) you knock the Pot Tosser out (hurry up, Vilree might get the XP!) it will be:
Behemoth (40 xp)
Homonculous (15 xp)
2965 XP total
GM Wayfinder
Don't forget the damage, I killed it for that.
I believe no one even attempted a Recall Knowledge on Pergy, so I do not believe you have any idea what it is, even less how it worked.
So far that would be the 8th of Vilree's creations you kill.| GM Wayfinder |
Sorry! My mistake.
There all sorts of those creations that are linked to her w. various things and actions and effects, forgot you had found out about that one.
Updated last post.
GM Wayfinder
Well, since they are all dead (or out of the battle for the one living - in PAIN!)-- they are/were all linked to her w. various things.
I believe Tamerius knew that about all the Drudges (the vomit machines).
GM Wayfinder
Is there any roll to determine what the potion does that she just drunk?
If anyone has the Alchemical Crafting Feat or such you can roll Recall Knowledge (or for free if it is on your list, but none have any Archetype etc. I think?).
Natsume Ren
Anyone object to me tipping her into the water? GM mentioned it seemed dangerous to begin with, and I imagine it’s even harder to swim when you’re made of stone...
Sitril Anvilbrand
I don't mind at all, I was considering doing it with Behemoth, but Sitril is small and round and Behemoth was large ... and round. Shove does not work in such combinations.
Natsume Ren
Sitril, I don’t know if you’ve been playing Fall Guys, but the mental image I got was definitely a ball vs. a guy, and that matchup rarely goes well for the guy.
Boink!
Plop.
Giggett
I'd prefer to catch her.
If you put her in the water, how do we get to her afterward?
Especially considering that the fight should be easy from now on as we are all up and standing and she's alone.
Natsume Ren
That’s exactly the reason I made sure to ask first :D if she was a mook she’d be swimming by now. Or drowning, y’know, as the case may be.
Guess that means we’re just gonna beat her to death-or-near-death, then!
Hopefully she doesn’t explode when her HP gets low in an attempt to take us all with her!
GM Wayfinder
If you put her in the water, how do we get to her afterward?
You know that if she goes in the river she most probably will be swept into the stone tunnel and off underground.
Especially considering that the fight should be easy from now on
Nice words to put on your gravestones.
Seriously, there is still a fair chance for more than one death among the four of you.And she's rolled a 1 already, so statistically that is done, though one can hope the dice roller sides with the villagers in this fight!
GM Wayfinder
I got Dragh and Sitril's combined effort Chronicle sheet out-- and it's a Goblin who will profit!
FYI: you get 12 XP, Fame, Rep & 30 TBs @ the level the character you apply the Chronicle has when applying (before adding the 12 XP).
The boons:
□ Fiery Companion (Limited-Use, Slotless): You have befriended a unique animal augmented by alchemical experiments. If you have an animal companion, you can check the box that precedes this boon between adventures to replace it with the fiery leopard (Pathfinder Adventures: The Fall of Plaguestone 57). You may also transfer this boon to one of your other characters who has an animal companion, immediately checking the box on this boon and replacing that character’s existing companion with the fiery leopard; keep a copy of this Chronicle with that character.
□ Noala’s Lessons (Slotless): In gratitude for your help, the ranger Noala is willing to teach you several of her carefully honed techniques. You gain access to either the ranger feat Relentless Stalker (Pathfinder Adventures: The Fall of Plaguestone 57) or the skill feat Wilderness Spotter (The Fall of Plaguestone 57). Once you have taken one of these feats, check the box next to this boon and cross the other one out.
I think the Ranger Feats are crap, but, unlike the Fiery Companion you cannot transfer Noala's Lessons to another character (I believe?).
Then there are Keepsakes:
alchemical crossbowU (level 0; 25 gp) crafter’s eyepiece (level 3; 60 gp)
lesser energy mutagen formulaU (level 1; 1 gp)
shadow rune (level 3; 55 gp)
stone body mutagen recipeU (level 5; 8 gp) wolf fang talisman (level 1; 4 gp)
Bort’s blessingR (level 5; 160 gp)
merchant’s guileU (level 5; 160 gp)
ring of minor arcanaU (level 5; 160 gp)
ring of the weary traverlerU (level 5; 160 gp) stalwart’s ringU (level 5; 160 gp)
warrior’s training ringU (level 5; 160 gp)
re. Keepsakes:
Chronicle sheets for adventures will occasionally include a section for “Keepsakes”. It is generally assumed that a character will only acquire one keepsake per adventure; once a player has applied this Chronicle to a character and purchased a keepsake from the list, they must cross the remaining items in that list off of their Chronicle sheet. This allows them to repurchase the chosen keepsake or even share access to it with other characters using inheritor boons or other options that allow a player to share boons between characters, but all other items cease to be available (though they may be available for acquisition later through the Achievement Point system.)
So the idea is, I believe, that you choose one and cross the others off and then can use it with other characters.
I will wait till all have chosen who they wish to apply this too before reporting the game.
QUESTION: I believe you do not get Downtime for a Module, but if someone cares and wants to check around please tell me what the rule is.
GM Wayfinder
On another note, since I have not seen the Paizo site in over 1/2 a year or more (time flies!) I saw I have 2 Glyph symbols and some 200 or whatever something points.
re. that:
1 - Farol, I think you were talking about build problems w. your Alchemist. As I told you a while ago, there is a free boon:
Rewrite History
Rebuild aspects of a character including ability scores, ancestry, background, class, feats, heritage, skill proficiencies, and related features
So it seems you can rebuild from scratch if you want.
2 - @all: do you know if there is a way to transfer boons I purchase with my whatever points?
Can I purchase a boon for one of my characters and then sign it over to another player?
I imagine we cannot--?
Or can I give my points away?
I am asking since I could purchase some race boons for others if this is possible to do (I have enough points to purchase the 2 most expensive boons, a shame to waste this).
GM Wayfinder
Why do they only give the lesser version of mutagens
Can you upgrade? Maybe look around in the Guide or whatever-- if you have access to a formula, can you then get the higher levels of that formula?
Do you have the stats of the fiery leopard?
As a monster:
FIERY LEOPARD CREATURE 1
UNIQUE N MEDIUM ANIMAL
Perception +6; low-light vision, scent (imprecise) 30 feet
Skills Acrobatics +8, Athletics +6, Stealth +8
Str +1, Dex +3, Con +1, Int –4, Wis +1, Cha –2
AC 17; Fort +6, Ref +8, Will +4
HP 20 (currently 17); Immunities fire; Weaknesses cold 5
Speed 30 feet, climb 20 feet
Melee [one-action] jaws +8 (finesse), Damage 1d8+1 piercing plus
1 fire plus grab
Melee [one-action]claw +8 (agile, finesse), Damage 1d4+1 slashing
plus 1 fire
Fiery Pelt Creatures that start their turn grappled
by a fiery leopard take 1d4 fire damage. Anyone
attempting to grapple a fiery leopard takes 1d4 fire
damage for each attempt.
As an Animal Companion:
FIERY LEOPARD
UNIQUE
Base Animal Companion Cat
Immunities fire; Weaknesses cold 5
Flaming Attacks (fire) The fiery leopard’s natural attacks
deal 1 fire damage (in addition to the bonus damage
dealt to flat-footed targets). This damage increases
to 1d4 when the fiery leopard becomes a nimble or
savage animal companion.
Fiery Pelt (fire) Creatures that start their turn grappled
by the fiery leopard take 1d4 fire damage. Anyone
attempting to grapple the fiery leopard takes 1d4 fire
damage for each attempt.
Burning Glow The fiery leopard sheds dim light in a 10-
foot radius which gives it a –2 circumstance penalty on
Stealth checks made at night or in a dark environment.
I don't think you can give your boons. That would be a bit of a cheat.
I have no idea what the rules are. This replaces boons acquired GMing stuff and it used to be possible to give away Race Boons and such acquired in Specials and Gamedays etc..
There has to be some rule written somewhere in the Guide or whatever.
I have the dream of convincing you to play PFS2 sometimes :)
You need to upgrade your dreams! xD
)))
Seriously: so kind!

You need a different formula for each item. Also, in your list, they say they give the Lesser version (which tends to say that they don't give all versions).
FIERY LEOPARD
UNIQUE
Base Animal Companion Cat
Immunities fire; Weaknesses cold 5
Flaming Attacks (fire) The fiery leopard’s natural attacks

Nice. I'm thinking in taking it with my Alchemist now... I was using a Bird, the Leopard is a bit worse, but I quite like the fact its a special creature.
I have no idea what the rules are. This replaces boons acquired GMing stuff and it used to be possible to give away Race Boons and such acquired in Specials and Gamedays etc..

Boons are made for your character. I have a few of them, and the name of my character is on it automatically. So I think it wouldn't work with current design.
Seriously: so kind!
You told me you stopped because of bad GMs. So, as long as I meet your expectations as a GM, I can invite you freely :)
I'll certainly launch a few online games soon, I'll see if I can get you and Ilmakis as players. Right now, I'll DM Devil at the Crossroads that you both did, so it'll be for next time.| GM Wayfinder |
Bad GMs... and worse players!
Right now I am DMing a campaign of The One Ring on PbP (will probably get more involved when Free League brings out the new game)-- and I am playing/DMing a lot of Alien RPG.
So I have not seen any Paizo stuff for a while (I hang out w. my friends here in the countryside but have quit the Pathfinder campaign).
I think it wouldn't work with current design.
Yes, I think all the things are personal.
Since anyone can get race boons etc. w/o ever leaving one's room now, less need to give away etc..| SuperBidi |
Bad GMs... and worse players!
I think this format of campaign generates bad "consumption" behavior from players and GMs alike.
If you take the proper time to prepare and play the adventures and enough time for roleplay (and if players actually roleplay their characters) there are a bunch of nice scenarios. But if you read the adventure one hour before running it, if you just paraphrase the text boxes and if you run around the clock, it becomes very bad RPG experience.
I'm often sad to see the potential of some stories just thrown away by lack of preparation. I'm also sad to see roleplay opportunities just cut short to stay in the five hours format. And I often end up a bit disappointed because I never learn much about the other characters outside their most gimmicky roleplay interactions.

Though I am pretty sure I know what Tamerius' link goes to (I'll see if I have time today to start sifting through the old posts) I will wait to get confirmation re. the spell before going on, since it is a pretty important fight.
Farol
@GM do you have any link to the:
Rewrite History boon?
With regards to the low quality of GM/players. In the real of PBP I think this can be mitigated? As a player you know to what table you are signing to so you can check the GM (just open his previous game and take a look how he did stuff).
The same goes with players. Even if you sign as first, before you start you can check other players and resign from the game.
It is more challenging for a GM but I know that some always do recruitment and not first come first served. That allows you to pick players from a pool.
There are ways to mitigate the problem. I play around 6 PBP games + 2 PBP AP's At most I have 1 game that causes problems. Coincidently I find this problem to be bigger in PF2 than in SFS.
Is familiar an animal companion? Or is there a way for Alchemist to have an animal companion? I thought it is only for rangers/druids
SuperBidi
Re: Rewrite History: Just go in the Organized Play part of your profile, then Boons, and buy it for your characters. Then you can download it to look at what it does. But it's not very interesting as you lose 15% of your gold and I haven't found a way to just keep the equipment you had before rewriting history...
You have the Beastmaster Dedication giving anyone who wants an animal companion.

Please do, as I don't understand how he could get access to such a spell at level 3.
