Most positive reading: you disappeared last round, so you reappeared this round, so you can act now.

Ok, I don't want to wait any longer, so I will just go with greater invisibility.

Boros calls upon his mistress once again, defensively casting another powerful spell. The inquisitor blinks out of sight at the spells completion.

Cast greater invisibility defensively. Free action to give myself a round of haste with my boots, Swift action to change judgement of piercing to judgement of resistance (fire), move action to get out of the burning ring of fire. Judge of Fire Resist gives me a total of 8 fire resistance. Since I am now invisible, I should not have to worry about provoking AoOs.

The Phoenix didn't use a weapon to disarm, so it automatically picked it up with its talon, hence I said it rips it from your hands. So it's got you on a leash now it seems.

For simplicity's sake let's assume the weapon cord instantly gets incinerated by the Phoenix' flames.

Although you officially don't need line of sight to target a 'fire'ball, it is getting a bit weird to throw one through several walls of fire and place it in such a way to not accidentally include allies.

Assuming Nugats doesn't mind too much walking through the wall of fire (taking fire: 2d6 + 15 ⇒ (6, 6) + 15 = 27) to get line of sight, he will be able to see that this time his magic works! (again due to Boros' SR debuff)

Wrath gives Boros an additional +3 for overcoming a creature's spell resistance, so the result of your roll would be 21.

Also, just making sure you accounted for Narayan's attack. He specifically stated he is standing next to me waiting for the phoenix to get within range. It should have been in range before it had a chance to attack, as you stated it came down to 5' above the ground. Leaving that area should have also provoked an AoO from at least Narayan.

"Here!" Boros croaks with a dry throat. Battered and burned, the archer steadies himself as he is lifted by the enormous Nagaji warrior to his feet. His scorched bow still feels strong in his hands. The Phoenix self-immolates and leaves behind two tattered ruby-red feathers imbued with Hao Jin’s magic.

You’ve received two feather formed from the magic of the legendary sorceress Hao Jin.

You can perform one of the following three actions:

Try and repair part of the Tapestry: Succeed at a Craft (cloth), Heal, Knowledge (arcana or planes), Spellcraft, or Use Magic Device check. If this feather has been empowered, the DC decreases. If you fail, you can send the feather to another table, who can then try to empower it and retry the repair.

Resurrect: Cast resurrection on a single member of the party. If this feather has been empowered, you can instead resurrect the entire party. Using the feather for resurrection consumes all of its magic, meaning it can no longer be used to repair the tapestry.

Empower and send to another group: To empower a feather, a PC can expend one use of a healing ability (such as channel energy) or an ability that does fire damage, or cast one 3rd level or higher spell with the healing or fire descriptor.

As Keriassa is currently living on borrowed time and needs a raise dead after the mission finishes, I would suggest you reserve one feather for that purpose (until you get an empowered feather from another table)

Using or empowering the feather takes no time, but you see a new flock of phoenixes approach the groups of pathfinders and surely one of them will likely attack you.

You've got two rounds to heal/buff before it arrives!

Boros takes a deep breath, reaching into his handy haversack for his medlance and his spare potion of cure serious wounds. He empties the potion down his throat and hammers the lance into his thigh, injecting the potion. Finally, he grabs his final potion of fly and holds it out for Narayan.

"Here, we need your fists to be able to follow this bird through the air, if you don't already have one of these." the plumekith says.

CSW: 6d8 + 10 ⇒ (8, 3, 7, 3, 7, 1) + 10 = 39

This will put Boros at 57 hp.

First round: Move to draw potion of CSW. Swift to change judgement of destruction to judgement of healing. Standard to drink potion of CSW. Second Round: Move to draw Medlance. Swift to inject potion of CSW. Second move action to draw potion of fly and hand it to Narayan.

Add another 4hp for the healing judgement during the second round, Boros is up to 61.

Narayan, No biggie if you don't want the potion of fly, Boros will probably just drink it on his first turn if you don't use it. Unless another melee character wants it! We need to perfect our tactics or we are all going to need one of those feathers to revive a tpk...

Hugely want the potion since I've already burned through my backup! I will drink it but stay on the ground for now, and reapply Barkskin.
If we can get communal resist up again I think that would be the most important buff though... Or really any resist...

Nugats will need to walk through the wall of fire to rejoin the party and take the fire damage.

There was a reason I mentioned restocking after the Devourer fight, but I guess you didn't want to metagame as you as a player already knew the final fight would be against a flying creature.

Starting the next phoenix, people who haven't done their 2 rounds can still do so.

New Phoenix initiative: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (18) + 11 = 29

A phoenix splits up from the flock and surrounds you by another wall of fire and calls down a firestorm, before diving down and out of sight.

Fire damage: 15d6 ⇒ (4, 3, 6, 5, 4, 2, 4, 6, 3, 6, 4, 2, 3, 2, 6) = 60

Reflex
Boros Reflex: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (4) + 11 = 15 Failure

Tree: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (19) + 16 = 35 Succes
Keriassa Reflex: 1d20 + 17 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 17 + 2 = 20 Failure

Keriassa's armor is reduced to non functioning smothering rags by the inferno!

I forgot this earlier:
Creatures that failed their Reflex save catch on fire, taking 4d6 points of fire damage each round until the flames are extinguished. Extinguishing the flames is a full-round action that requires a DC 20 Reflex save.

Wall of fire
Boros: 2d4 ⇒ (3, 3) = 6
Sparky Fantastico: 2d4 ⇒ (3, 4) = 7 Unless you are flying >20 feet up
Nugats: 2d4 ⇒ (2, 2) = 4

Round 2 he Hastes everyone but Nugats then flies 60 feet straight up to again give the Phoenix a tough choice.

This isn't metagaming. We saw that we need to stay far apart from each other to prevent it from doing exactly what the last one did. Locking us down with firewalls and massive reach. Though since the spell is in 10 foot cubes I think it can still hit me with Fire Storm, Depending on if he can stack the cubes upwards.

Sparky manages to use the feather successfully and succeeds at making some repairs to the Tapestry.

Yes, you are in the effect. Also flying up is half speed, so only 45' (which can be 75' if you were at the very edge of the channel/haste)

You are hasted, so you can actually move further.

Tree discovers the Phoenix and calls out its general direction.

Sparky flies at 60. He hasted everyone but Nugats last round so now it's 120. So half speed up could still get him to 60. Moot point since we are all nearly dead and have a week or more of phoenix waves left.

Boros was brought to -5 by all the fire. thanks to Guarded life, that is 2 hp with 7 non-lethal, so unconscious and on fire. Mercifully, it looks like Boros' participation in this combat is over.
